    Well documented, thank you for sharing. It’s beautiful up there, just climbed Helvellyn via Thirlmere with the family in August 2021. What a blessing to experience these wonders of God’s creation!

    So precious Eddie and wonderful memory of a stunning walk with your brothers. More so with the very recent loss of your lovely brother Eric. Thinking of you every day at this sad time and my sister and all Eric's family.

      Hi Allison, yes special memories and really emotional to watch. We still can't believe what has happened. Eric will always be in our thoughts, he was taken far too soon. A very special person who gave 100 percent in everything he did. Thank you for the kind words and thoughts. Carol has been a star, I don't know how I would have coped without her. Thanks again xxx

    Hi Eddie, lovely video mate. I do like the ascent up Helvellyn from the Thirlmere side, simply for the fact you get that big reveal. I went up there on Monday from Wythburn, unfortunately I could not see absolutely nothing in any direction. Haha
    I have put a short video up on my channel.

      Hi Dave, it is a very special video for me as my brother, Eric, who was on this walk with me, passed away suddenly just after Christmas. I will treasure the memories of this walk with him. I plan to go up Helvellyn the same way you did from Wythburn, so I will have a look at your video when I get back from the Lakes, we are in Keswick for a couple of days. Thanks for watching and commenting, it is appreciated. Take care. Cheers. Eddie.

Its nice that you have this video to look back on with the time you spent with him in the mountains. Enjoy the rest of your break in the lakes. You have certainly picked the right week for it. Cheers Dave

    Always go up from Glenridding but as I want to take my grandson to the summit and miss out Striding Edge, this looks a great alternative. Another great watch and again, great weather, I think the only time I have ever seen you out in bad weather, was the time you were with me on Nine Standards Rig lol! Looks like you all had a great day and it looks a nice clear, well defined path up, allowing me to look after my grandson, rather than the map. Cheers Alan

      @eddiecaisley5746  6 лет назад +2

      Thanks Alan. The path is easy to follow from Swirls car park. Quite steep in parts, but nothing too bad. This is the first time I have been walking with my brothers, we all had a great day. You're right, the walk with you on Nine Standards was the only day I had bad weather, ha! It was still a good day though. Thanks for watching and commenting. Cheers. Eddie

      Hi David. Pleased you enjoyed the Wasdale Walk. That area is one of my favourite parts of the lake District. Thanks for watching & commenting on the Helvellyn video. I had a load of camera issues on the day we did Helvellyn so the video is not the best. Another good walk to Helvellyn is from Sticks Pass up to Raise, White Side then on to Helvellyn. Take care. Cheers. Eddie.

      Hi, thanks for watching. The only things I can think of is to take plenty of water for you and your dog and to be aware of some drops near the summit of Helvellyn looking down to the tarn. Other than that, you should have a great day, the views are superb. Thank you again for watching, it is appreciated. Take care. Cheers. Eddie.

      @eddiecaisley5746  2 года назад +1

      Hi Craig, the climb up is ok, a bit steep in places, but nothing too bad. The path up is a mixture of stone steps with some rocky sections. The gradient eases when you get higher up. On a clear day the views from Helvellyn are superb. Thanks for watching and commenting, it is appreciated. Take care. Cheers. Eddie.
