I loved this back when it was released, absolutely loved it so much! I had forgotten all about it until I watched the film. “Slipstream” yesterday, boy did I smile 😁! Addicted ałl over again, it's fantastic! Born in ‘77 I am so happy I remember the best decade in music (okay nearly all of it as I was three in 1980. BEST music, BEST films, BEST TV, BEST radio (with songs like this & the late, GREAT Steve Wright, R.I.P.)
Not to mention those killer guitar licks laid down by the late Scott Taylor.

Remember it like it was just yesterday February 1989 all over again they'd been quite all though 1988 after the success of 1987s the Motive which was also totally underrated! A true classic pop gems dream of a tune but then 18 months later they realise this absolutely gorgeous track which still sounds as fresh today as it did way back in Feb 1989 this certainly doesn't get the recognition it truly deserves a fantastic song and the video is really good too as this was Mark's real life girlfriend at the time too so it played out in the actual video as well so definitely 10/10 for that alone! But I absolutely adore this song and still play it a lot today over 35 years on and it sounds utterly breathtaking! They sure as hell don't make music like this fine song anymore so appreciate this 100% to the ground and back up again fantastic music has to be appreciate and respected without a doubt 😌💙🫶

Early 90s,watching TV. Playing a commercial and in the background this song. Never caught the exact lyrics. A lifetime of trying to find it, but no success. Playing the music in my mind from time to time, convinced that it was a song made for that commercial.
15 September 2024 and while driving they played it on the radio.
It took only some 30 something years to find it! 😊😊😊

Have soooo many happy memories of the gigs, backstage parties, drinks in pubs, hotels , and all the lifelong friends I made .My most happiest times etc ….RIP Scott Taylor , so sadly missed always 😭💔 They had the best backing singers too ! Mark Shaw is like a hyperactive kid in this amazing adrenaline fuelled video ! His raw energy is addictive and makes this one of the greatest ever songs from the classic best ever decade which was the 80s. Never get tired of watching this truly amazing masterpiece. God , I miss the 80s !

Also remember hearing it then I think on the then Gary Davies weekday show on BBC Radio 1 then at the time. Indeed, when he played this I think I turned up the volume of it then so too?!
