What I love about Rammstein is they don't make complex riffs just for the sake of being complex. Both guitarists are very capable but they just play what sounds heavy and badass. They don't need to prove anything.
The hardest thing about playing their songs is to be accurate. Because of their simplicity mistakes can easily be heard so they are perfect for any begginer. I used to play a lot of their songs while starting out. All in all, nice video dude 🤘🤘
Rammstein has the right idea. Simplicity is the key. But their technicality is making everything work so well together and their stage prescense/performance
They are all easy, BUT to sound a good at Rammstein the guitarists and drums must be extra tight. Thats the secret. Its simillar to ACDC, simple but the gaps, focus and tightness are the challenge.
There's nothing complex about Rammstein riffs, or any of their music. What makes Rammstein special is that all those simple bits put together make a sound that is complex. And as you would expect from a well oiled German machine, timing is precise and they play super tight as a band. I love rock music and bands like Muse and Placebo, Linkin Park and Korn. As good as they are, none are as tight as Rammstein.
@@rockeiro1916 almost wrote an angry comment cause i mixed the word heavy with hard. Halfway trough my keyboard warrior rampage i realised, maybe i should have read properly trough your comment before responding. Cheers mate
I noticed their older songs had much more complex riffs. Which are amazing. I guess with time they found ways to make it less complicated and easier for themselves
1:03 just iconic from the first second. A perfect match to the movie "Lost Highway" as well. Most of these riffs are instantly recognizable to me, very strong character and overall a remarkable style. One small note though: it is not "Rise Rise", it is "Reise Reise". Also "Du hust" means "you cough", it is called "Du hast" :'D
From the most recent album, I'd say the song with the hardest riff to play would be "Giftig", and then maybe "Angst", but I don't think they're close to their most difficult ever.
Can you do the same video about Pain, since Peter Tägtgren from Pain did most of the music for Till in their project "Lindemann". And a lot of Pain riffs like "Trapped" for an example are similar to Rammstein riffs.
I could never figure out how to play the song herzelied I know all their songs on guitar I even followed the tabs still sounded off for that reason I say hardest riff
I was surprised Herzeleid wasn't here too. Richard's version of that main riff is a pain to get cause you've gotta mute a string in the middle of it. Paul's is easier once you get the hang of lifting off just your second and fourth fingers to leave the root powerchord.
Dude get yo titles in order. It’s „Reise Reise“ („Journey Journey“ it’s what sailors tell eachother before a journey, they dont say „Good Journey“ because good journeys have bad and good parts in it).
What I love about Rammstein is they don't make complex riffs just for the sake of being complex. Both guitarists are very capable but they just play what sounds heavy and badass. They don't need to prove anything.
Different genre of rock but could say the same about ac/dc
@@peterdavies4623 exactly, though ac/dc has some more advanced riffs they aren't as minimalistic for example the thunderstruck opening
Engel for me is the hardest riff. 'Cause I can't play & whistle altogether 😊
Me too😃
Same, I can't do the string switch to mute the other notes...
Paul and richard can't aswell
I can’t whistle at all 👍
The whistling is layered on top through samples

Picking. It's all about picking. Industrial guitars need a particular one. Another minus of this vid... Mein Land riff is missing
@@seleneriot6480 there’s a chance that CreepBear isn’t at the level to play it. However if he can that would be awesome!

Love Rammstein riffs, so easy yet so heavy and fun to play and jam
I personally think Weisses Fleisch quick slide riff is the hardest one, but nonetheless, great effort man
I expected it to be #20 ;)
True, and i find Der Meister even harder then Weisses Fleisch
Klavier hard too
Heirate mich is the hardest rammstein riff I’ve ever played

The riff "Engel" is difficult to play, but it sounds very cool!
Rammstein is of my favourite bands but there is no such a thing like hard rammstein riff
Tier also kills me :(
@@TheCsabi86 I can see why, Tier's riff is similar to Engel's riff which is considered hard to play.
I noticed their older songs had much more complex riffs. Which are amazing. I guess with time they found ways to make it less complicated and easier for themselves
The easy riffs are usually the hardest to play because timing issues and background string noise are very evident

I need a bass version of this
Hardest is Seemann I can tell ya

@@SirFooplesTheThird Ollie is so underrated. Seemann is absolute bitch to play, but sounds so beautiful
When you start to learn guitar with the hardest rammstein riff😂
Today
The original riff for Weißes Fleisch was pretty tough at first
Der Meister is the hardest riff, i think. Its very har to play clean
Mein jerz brennt solo, was the very first solo i learned🤘🏻
Engel is definitely the hardest. I have spent many hours and cuss words on that song.
I was expecting "Adios" but that was a great list
From the most recent album, I'd say the song with the hardest riff to play would be "Giftig", and then maybe "Angst", but I don't think they're close to their most difficult ever.
Fantastic job! I like Rammstein👍👍👍
Thanks🙏
Keep them coming!
My pick for hardest would probably be Der Meister :)
Yeeeeessss, I try to play it 6 months😢
Fantastic......new sub!
Great playthrough 👏👏
I think Links 234, Benzin, Los, Buck Dich and Tier are way too easy to make it into this list.
Great was video 👏👍
I was expecting “mien land” to pop up somewhere towards the end. That song hurt my head when learning it a few years back.
Reise. Reise
Heirate mich is one of the hardest riffs.
I don't know, they all look pretty easy...But it would certainly be a challenge for a beginner.
Great the sound could you say what gear you use.
Guitar schecter sgr c- 1
Guitar interface uc 6102
Guitar rig 5
Most of the riffs are wrong, casually some of the notes are either misplaced or altered (I don't mean to be rude)
was gonna say that some sound off
That first riff is harder to play correctly than several that came after
Gotta love rammstein ❤️❤️🔥🔥 loved the new album so much. What did you think?
I still need to listen to it!!!
@@daywalker3735 it's good bro definitely listen to it
It was epic - loooved Giftig and Angst

It’s the only album I’ve been forcing my gym to listen to the past few weeks lol. Of course with other Rammstein thrown in.
To me, seeing Engel as the hardest riff came as a surprise to me, I personaly didn’t have much trouble learning and playing the riff well.
It's very hard to make it sound right clean.

I will try, but I need much more time for this

Du Hust
Du Hust Much
"rise rise" "du hust"
Nice
1:48 yeah sorry Reise doesn't translate to rise
Bravo, my favorite is by far "Du Hust" (Du hust mich)
Cool.
I just HAVE to ask, did you take out the rest of the strings to prove how you only need three to play Rammstein?
More like from very easy to easy. But doesnt matter as long it sounds good.
In what moment „du richt so gut“ is hard riff?
What do you think about the riffs from the new album?
I liked them, especially Zick - Zack! It's simple but really cool
Meine tranen sounds like it could belong on the reise reise album
Loved the new album. All the simple riffs sound so good
cool, but what about Der Meister?
Alternative title: Rammstein riffs form easy to still easy but might take you a couple of attempts?
du hust
Great vid! Mein Land and specially Deutschland could've been included IMO
The riff from Deutschland and Tattoo should be on the list.
