Great shooting man! For those one hole groups, just measure the hole with your calipers. Take the largest reading, and then subtract bullet diameter. That will give you the actual group size. That's what I used to do when I shot benchrest back in the day.

I love 22-250, 20 plus years ago I had a Winchester 70 Stealth in 22-250. My best groups ever came from that gun, I had a 5 shot group that I could cover with a dime at 100 yards, 4 was in the same hole Loved it! Great shooting WTW!!!

It’s fun to shoot using 22-250. For PD rifle, I always go with 22-250 AI because there is less prepping hundreds of cases

Mate I always said, its hard to go past a 22 - 250, we found over many years of using Rifles, were the good old 308 & the 22 - 250, the 22- 250 was used 50% of the time, so for me its a great Rifle to have & use, good video Mate, Cheers & Best Wishes, Trevor.W.Bacelli. Biloela Qld Australia.

I think 22-250 or 243 or 270 would be awesome for pest control especially the kind in body armor I think a 22-250 in theory you can reload for and even stuff a green tip on to get going up to the standard

Bro., watching you shoot these groups, as expensive as your shooting rest is, you can still see it moving around a little--which can negatively affect group size. An inexpensive bipod on the front, the kind that doesn't swivel or rotate, with a small rabbit ear sand under the butt stock always gives me the best groups. This combination is also cheaper and more portable than a lead sled or other more elaborate types of rests.

Always liked the 22-250. Had a Remington 788 so chambered. It shot groups like your first one with handload. Around a 1/2" with factory loads. Well once I got a few issues fixed. The front sling swivel stuck through the stock far enough to hit the barrel. I reworked the trigger down to around 2 lbs or so.
Bought it used and it blew primes with factory loads. Sent it back to Remington and they said the chamber was rusty. They pulled the barrel, set it back one thread and rechambered it.
That's one rifle I wished I never let go.

Great group Whotee! 22-250 is my favorite centerfire varminting round and to your point the last few years have been SLIM pickings for ammo availability. Hopefully that'll come around sooner than later. Here in Oregon it seems like the Nosler offerings are about all I ever see in-store and I'm guessing that is because they're made in Bend.

The 22-250 will burn up a barrel fast when fired quickly. Let it cool between shots and it will last a lot longer. A suppressor keeps more heat in the barrel and makes it worse.

I have a friend who is a local rancher. He owns a large ranch with lots of livestock. One day we stopped by one of his houses on the ranch where he was keeping a sick colt. When we drove up 5 dogs that had attacked and killed the colt started running away. The area was open hay fields. Pete was really mad and jumped out of the truck with a Browning falling block single shot 22-250. As the dogs ran away Pete shot each one from an unrested standing position. The last dog was slightly over 1/4 mile away and I thought it would escape but it did not. It was a display of shooting unlike anything I had ever seen. He turned to me and said, "I don't know why they won't let me hunt elk with this gun. I can hit an elk in the head every time."

I shoot same groups with that varmintX round out of my Ruger American Predator 22-250. That round is awesome and the advertised velocities were pretty dang close even out of a shorter barrel assuming they tested with 24” barrel. 100% would recommend either round for varminting

I almost just got a .22-250 upper from BCA recently for coyote hunting on a farm this season, but I haven’t. I’m on the fence because right now I got cases of .223 Fiocchi Extrema 40gr VMax rounds for my 20in .223 Wylde uppers that say 3650 on the box that are probably still goin around 3400fps at least, idk I gotta chronograph em one day at the range to be sure. And then I got cases of .308 110 Vmax bullets that are 3300fps on the box and they got to be pushing well over 3k out of a 18in .308 that I got. I just don’t know if a 20in .22-250 upper is worth it, I heard most people saying a 24 or even 26in barrel bolt action is the only way to go. So should I go get another rifle and more ammo do y’all think? Or just stick with the two Vmax rounds that I got? Using suppressed AR’s.

I have a friend that hand loads 264 win mag in 100gr, reduced powder so it's 100gr moving at 3100fps. That's what he likes for the Coyotes. He's never had one fail to do its job. I just shoot the Ole AR with 53gr super performance vmax. I'm not as serious at Coyotes. If they get within 40-50yds and my 40s&w is on me then I use that with 165gr gold dot loaded to 1250fps.
