Personally, I'd never spend money on FM...they never sound good to my ears. The glasspacks always win me over, regardless of the vehicle. I put them on my '89 Mustake 5.0 LX back in the day and it was great.
Glass packs are the best option for a classic car or truck!!! My grandpa has a 1964 Comet it had flow masters on it but recently had glass packs put on and it sounds so much better with the Glass packs!!
Nice ride! Ya with a 327 with some 22 inch glass packs that's all you need I have a 54 chevy 235 with 2 12inch glass packs badass and my 51 custom cab chevy truck 235 I have straight pipes loud but sounds old school pipas
Nice! I have a 65impala also I did my exhaust about 30yrs ago I have cherry bombs on it & every time I drive it some one compliments my exhaust especially when I rev it up it pop's I don't here car's that sound like mine anymore?
The Flow Master sound is a tinier sound that was more like an original Mopar muscle car sound so is better on them. Glass packs have a mellow rounder sound that goes better with this car and similar ones.
Nice! car, there's no doubt about it, but the videoclip footage is much to short and we don't see the entire car, except for the back angle only. With all due respect, I strongly suggest that you guys refilm this videoclip entirely over again, by showing us more segments, with the entire car, on every angle. It's only my opinion. Thanks alot! Johnny, Montréal, Canada!
Got drive it on the freeway get them nice n hot the put u r water hose in them turn on the water 2 break them up n then start it n watch the water shoot out n they will sound alot louder old school trick breaks them in u r welcome 😁😎✊🏼👊🏼
Those glass packs sound terrible. I guess to each their own. Just cut the glass packs off of my Monte Carlo for a full flowmaster system and it sounds so much better
@@Bajadave760 I purchased the bombs on amazon around $35. 00 a piece, I don’t remember but somewhere around $100.00 at the shop, it depends how much they charge by the hour, shouldn’t take more than one
@@polloloco65 thank you for the info. Your car sounds great with the cherry bombs. I have some on my 62 but they were put on in the 90’s and the car sat for a while. The pipes have corroded in some areas so I’ll have to replace the whole exhaust system.
Can't beat the sound of Glasspacks !
The way Jim said can't beat that sound of those glass packs, had them on my 65 impala for 25 years and still rolling on them on the street of east la👍
Glasspacks all the way!!! Classic sound for a classic car. The way it should be!!!
That car is STRAIGHT, body man knew what he was doing!!!!! Sounds way better now!!!!!!
Personally, I'd never spend money on FM...they never sound good to my ears. The glasspacks always win me over, regardless of the vehicle. I put them on my '89 Mustake 5.0 LX back in the day and it was great.
I was on the fence about putting flowmasters on but this vid sealed the deal: I’m keeping the cherry bombs!
Glasspacks got my vote for sure

Beautiful Chevrolet Impala❤❤❤
I love both honestly. Mix both together and it would be perfect
Pinche flowmasters don't belong on low riders! Great job loco, love the sound of the packs
So true!
Lowriders are trash...cutting into the frame just to put in some stupid bouncy crap is disgraceful to classic cars

That color is awesome. Same color as my 78 nova when I had it.
Everybody complaining about the music but I like it. It adds a touch to the video. Reminds me of the movie Christine.
Glasspacks, always glasspacks
Cherrybombs baby!!!!!
I'm like this when you start it up with Flowmaster,👀🤤.
Wipe it away.
Then again with glass packs👀🤤.
Both sound really good
💪
Sounds badass!

My 64 ElCamino has a 283 with 22” Smithy glasspacks... so sweeeet
Of course glass packs , the smaller you find the louder they are ! Water in da duals make loud glass pipes ! E40
My opinion is flowmaster sounds better, to each his own though. Your car do what your heart wants. Beautiful car either way

When this 65 first lit up with Flows i was thinking, not on a 65. Then you switched to the packs and now she sounds like a 65 CHEV
Sounds good 👌
GLASS PACKS WILL ALWAYS RULE!
I wonder how one of each would sound.
Flowpacks!
Glassmasters!
18 inch glasspacks all day carnaL 🍒💣
Beautiful
Wow, I didn't know they played music too. 😳
Nice I think I know what I'm putting on my 67 now
Cherry Bombs! All the way
Oh hell yeah that's a beautiful sound Oldies But Goodies 👍 😎
I've always wanted to do some short cherry bombs in front of some 1 chamber flowmasters.
Great video. You did this correct. Very good video

Pretty car. Should have left the exhaust alone.
If Reese's can combine peanut butter & chocolate then dammit, you can combine glass & flows!
If I would get glass packs. Would I constantly get pulled over?

I'm sorry I can't choose I love both it's a tie

Glasspacks
What size glasspack did you go with?
I would leave it stock. Not mess with it. My 76 is all
Stock exept the fuel line and transmission
Those glass packs sound terrible. I guess to each their own. Just cut the glass packs off of my Monte Carlo for a full flowmaster system and it sounds so much better
Wow both setups sound amazing. It would be hard to pick which setup for me. What size pipes?
They are 2 inches
@@polloloco65 how long are your glasspacks
@@ogphil5600 23” length inlet and outlet 2 1/2
Why the music in a video about car sound?
How do I make my glaapacks crakle
H-pipe, X-pipe or just two straight pipes?
They connect, h pipe
Are you running some headers or an h pipe? I see you’re running 2.5” glass packs on 2” piping, was there any issues with that? Beautiful 5 btw !
No headers, but it does have H pipe! Not any issue with 2- 21/2 . Coupling reductor
Personally I don’t like both. My 65 has original style exhaust and it sounds Soo much better
What’s that squeaking noise at high revs
I can’t figure it out on my 77 Monaco
Even after replacing the belts n making them tight
Could maybe be the pulleys they might be worn out
@@christianespinoza5278 thanks I’ll invest in some
You’ve been a big help thanks for your response
What exhaust system do you have?
Why you play'n music when we try'n to hear the mufflers?
Sounded better before
What size glass packs
24”
What series of flowmasters are these?

Not in my plans yet, thank you!
Kinda like the flow masters
Most people do even tho they sound worse. It's okay to be wrong
the flowmasters sound badass, glass packs too raspy, still awesome though. its ok to be right. :P
Take the cats off yhr flowmasters and they will sound better

I have an idea, let's destroy our video with stupid background noise
What length did u go on them glasspacks?
They are 2.5 inlet total length is 24”
