I would not bet on TFP fixing it if it is not a major bug. So many and they want to go gold probably end of next year. We need better performance upgrades.

Even if they release A22 in April 2024 (wich i doubt, it´s not a deadline they gave out it was an estimation "we would like to release it at the end of of Q1 2024" and we all know that those estimations are wishfull thinking) And i can´t see them releasing A23 sooner than 4 months after A22. So A23 in a best case scenario is not before September imo, as an experimental. No chance for gold in 3 months. I might be wrong, but knowing this game and how updates worked since 2013, i highly doubt that.

Yeah, my wife made the same comment to my about an hour ago. Two things in my video was getting me worried. So far they have not been picked up. However, when it comes to the short audio clips here and there, apparently they are fine to use.

Yes, it would be interesting if pipermac maybe allowed the turret to shoot. So as you went around you had to shoot targets or zombies and they counted to a total score for going around.

i am far into the AOO mod and i absolutely love it. it is so diverse and there is so much to do, yet some unique POI's are a bit weird to navigate to and some things don't work properly
Yes, there is a lot of localisation missing. So there is item information missing here and there. Makes it a bit more difficult especially for newer players to figure out. Still, it has a lot to do.
Loved this mod, just beat it today. Wish there was some more quests! Even is it was kill 10,000 zombies or something. Thanks so much for the videos and thanks pipermac!

At least compared to the old mountain trader quest. How did things go with your quest 8, the Research Facility? Was it the right length or did you expect it to be longer? What day and level did you complete the last quest?
*Spoilers Ahead for anyone who hasn't made it this far*: Quest 6 was fun but frustrating. The only one that took me 3 tries. Not being able to get out once I realized how many lockpicks was needed was annoying but I found a zombie that could kill me. Then I ran out of repair kits my second run and had to do the same, lol. Third time I just straight up died towards the boss fight. Those 4 orbs that are in jail cell type of things are easy to miss. Both me and my buddy had to back track to find them. Def the more confusing of the quests. Loved quest 7 and 8! There's an orb under the torture room that wouldn't let me pick up but I found out you can destroy it and it counts. The research facility was nuts the deeper you get. The big monsters could of had more HP for sure, they were a little easy. The end fight was wild and chaotic, loved it. When I self destructed the place I tried to get closer to watch it all fall and it lagged me out. I was around Day 77 and Level 77 when I beat it all. 3 people on the server and it was running around 16 hours a day for a week. We solo'd our own quests throughout. I know it is a ton of work to make a mod like this, mad props. Best mod we've played on 7 days to die. Take these next comments with a grain of salt. The farming is abundant but I wish the recipes had some better/diff buffs so it was more rewarding. I ended up using mango trees for smoothies and chicken carcasses for my food, was a bit easy and I felt like I didn't need to make that huge garden or farm animals. The chicken dance spawn thing was so often that it supplied me with enough along with finding or buying food. The endgame legendary items are fun but at that point I was doing better with a fully decked out m60. By the time I was able to buy them I really didn't have a use which was a bummer because that wrench and auger go HARD! The legendary machete should harvest other things than a chance at a red banana which never happened for me nor did a see the animal it is for. The chain gun and boomstick were a lot of fun and I did use them a few times. The guards and animal companions are a ton of fun. The cars are cool and crazy. Once I learned some cars are worth a lot and when you sell them you get a good amount of xp, I went on a tear with that. We absolutely loved the different voice overs on everything. Was a really cool and different experience. Might have been the best mod on any game we've played. Thank you so much for the videos, helped a lot! @@SnowBee

Yes, I was curious about your thoughts and they do echo my own in some ways. I have done a limited playthrough in version 7, but quest 6 is still a pain as it was in version 6. The mini gun was a means to vaporous monsters, but I still stuck with the M60 as well. I also maintain the farming is elaborate and extensive, but not necessary. Still, it must stay as it is part of what makes AOO. :) Thanks again for your response. I am planning on a story guide at some point, but it is not as necessary anymore as it was in version 6.
@@SnowBee Sounds good and no worries. We loved all of it and I can only imagine how hard it is to balance it all over the different aspects of gameplay. Farming would def be worth it with a bigger group and it could be one persons role. Maybe can put some side quests that are about making certain foods/drinks. Maybe lock the bat mobile and m-17 helicopter behind some hard quests to have something to look forward to. Have a great day, I love your channel!
Yeah, I think you are the second one that has mentioned that to me in the past two weeks. It certainly filled up the world with extra things to do while exploring :)
The arenas essentially replace them... right now there is just one arena quest but the frame work I have put in place will allow me to easily alter it.... I can make an arena quest that just spawns one round of bosses.
It is quite steep with its resources. Dev says minimum of 16GB of RAM. Still, I love this mod, along with Joke Mod, they both bring a sense of craziness to 7D2D :)
excellent video explaining some of the treasures in the mod. Im looking to craft elite repair kits at my chem station with both options installed. i have the skull tokens but the option to craft dosnt show only track. I can make them at the elite trader but not at the chem station? thanks for any info and subscribed.
I don't recall if you can craft Elite Repair Kits. I know you can purchase them from Elite Traders, as you have noticed. So, that is how you likely get them, from the Elite Traders. They are "crafted" at the Elite Trader with skull tokens.
I see, funny thing when you purchase them from the Elite trader you acturlly have to craft them at the vendor location so i thought you would be able to craft them from the chem station. thanks for the info @@SnowBee

Hey Vomgnar I asked Pipermac about this, and he responded with this concerning repeatable quests: Arenas, kill 1000 quest, and Cave Escapes are repeatable. Possibly the Killer Clowns are repeatable as well.
Found the mod after i random found your video. love the mod. everything works and is great tho. one thing that favorit car you drive around in a cirkel i can't do anything with it in my game, can't find a spot to unlock or even just destroy it so totally bugged you know if it true ( if it is bugged) ??
Hi Dennis Are you sure the vehicle you found is drivable? Maybe it is just an unrepairable one? But I guess not if you can't even destroy it. Sometimes restarting the game can fix bugged vehicles. If everything else is working, then your version of 7D2D is likely fine. I know one of the biggest problems has been the version of A21.2 is incorrect, so it leads to things not working or the inventory looking strange.
In some ways I think the large POI's are quite intensive. It is not as bad as version 6 (IMHO), but it is still recommended to have at least 16GB of RAM.
I've been playing AOO for a few days. Even though I never played the Joke Mod; but this is like the Joke Mod (to my knowledge of seeing it on RUclips) with a few differences. Also there is a few items that need their icons and descriptions updated. Otherwise, it is pretty solid. IMO, I think they need to lose the clowns and put in some other freaky shit, when they get the time.
Yes, the localisation is pretty much non existent at times. It is quite noticeable. However, pipermac struggles to get players to help him, so he slowly slogs through with the updating.

Sorry for the late reply. A combination of playing Ark and RL work has been getting in my way. Yeah, they are a bit of a pain. In some cases I would get out of the water and shoot them. I spent most of my time in the shallows as I only collected about 20 ore in my testing. So, other than that a melee weapon should help?
Thanks alek :) Sorry for the delayed response. I was finishing up and then responding with people on my DF video. Okay, so it is not quite obvious, and something I should have mentioned in my video. I didn't know about it either. There is a vehicle crushing machine in the vehicle trader (Vic). If you put vehicles in the "Vehicles" queue that you have found, repaired, etc, then about 60 seconds later it salvages them into vehicle coins. The coins you get out will depend on the level of the vehicle. So some will give you like 8 coins, while a scooter is like 1 coin. I don't think it works with the crafted vanilla vehicles like the bicycle or motorcycle or minibike.

Okay, you will get a much more stable play for a server or co-op play if you go with Undead Legacy. Just remember, UL is still in A20. The A21 version has not been released yet. Undead Legacy will give you all you want and is better with friends due to all the resource collecting you need to do. The only thing is UL doesn't have new monsters, except the Scorpions. Playing with friends, for now, I would choose UL.

Yeah, sorry, RL work and other stuff is being taking a lot of time. I must also bring out my Darkness Falls v5 video tomorrow. Ammo goes into your inventory, either usually 9mm, 7.62 or .50. Then you mount the vehicle and press Q to shoot.
If i choose Game World "New Random World" at start of the new server will i have all the new stuffs and locations? Or should i choose different one? Sorry for dumb question but i am kinda confused.
The RWG should work fine, especially if you play on a large world around 10k in size. You should get the Dark Castle, Research Centre, Arena's and Elite Traders. Even the huge Circus or Amusement Park should spawn in as well. Let me know if that makes sense, unless I am misunderstanding you?
Great video as always. But as for the mod, I've played it and really tried to like it but just couldn't, everything seems just done in a "quantity over quality" way. Everything seems kinda scuffed. Seems like a lot of great ideas, but with too little staff to work on them, so everything looks very below avg. I couldn't get immersed for 10 minutes in it.
Fair enough. Yeah, he doesn't get an income from modding, so it is not easy to find good models and compatible modlets, etc. So, I know what you mean, but he does try to bring his ideas together. Certainly, those ideas are not always enjoyed, and not everyone's cup of tea. Still, thanks for commenting :)
I am finding new ore kurburium a pain to get. I know you need the underwater mask, but I don't have one. Never found it. I have to find like 100 or so of the ore to make all the stuff. Takes so long I have given up. I hope the mask can be crafted sometime?
I am unsure it it will be a crafted item. If enough complain about it, I am sure Pipermac will make it easier to obtain. Of course we don't want it to be too easy to obtain an elite ore.
I'm liking the mod, but it's far from done. My first random gen map did not spawn any caves or arenas, or the vehicle trader - quest markers just say no trader, so I tried the POI teleport and sure enough nothing there. All kinds of POI's spawned way up in the air and dirt was just falling. I do love the overall conecpt and am still playing thru the jank on my 2nd random map. I can't seem to figure out what to do with the pelts, there's a workbench hammer beside them, but no crafting tables will let me make leather out of the hides, I'm forced to bash couches as my only source of leather
Are you sure you are using the correct version? I spawned a few maps and never had problems like that. However, I did have a problem if I used anything anything above Alpha 21.1 stable. As far as I know, 21.1 is what you must use, and definitely not the latest version or any experimental. Leather comes from your normal places similar to vanilla. However, Pelts are used for making multiple pieces of leather. I don't think it is documented correctly, but you need to use the Farm Table to convert pelts into leather. It is a lot that you get. About 20 from one pelt, so it is worth it. If you select a pelt, it has a recipe which tells you to craft the pelt with nitrate and fat. I see the leopard pelt does not show the recipe, but a few others I checked now do.
Me and a few family members have been playing for a while. On like day 150. I've done all the quests but it won't let me read number 8. Anyone have any ideas on why? Need some help please.
Is number 8 the Research Facility? You just completed the Skeleton King? If so, if I recall, you can type givequest questresearchfacility into the console command and it gives that quest.
You need the correct ammo in your inventory. Then press Q on your keyboard. Certainly not a stupid moment. It is not obvious, and this is likely the most requested vehicle & guns question.
Grind the books? You mean completing quests? You still need to complete quests to level your AOO skills. Some are repeatable. Unsure if that is what you mean.
So sorry, I am unsure how I missed this question. I realise this is a late response, if I recall but the quest table was issued when you finish the first quest, which was to go to the trader. Again, very sorry for the late reply.
Hi Mbezzina Were you able to unlock the helicopter? I asked someone else about it as well, and they said they eventually cheated one in as they just could not get the helicopter to show in the trader. They waited an hour with more than one player on their server trying.
@@SnowBee no still no movement on the helicopter unlocking. It shows bold white when I have 7 coins but just locked with no instructions on how to unlock to actually purchase or make it.
Nope, it is still a while. Subquake maybe going the way of Rebirth and Apocalypse Now, which is December or January if we are lucky. Even Sorcery is a bit delayed with its October 31 update. This A21 has been such a code change, it is caused a huge headache for the modders that make massive overhauls. UL is always a well polished overhaul, that it is usually the last overhaul to bring out a large patch/version update.
I downloaded the mod from two different sources. The game works but there are some major issues with it, or with my computer. One issue is that the 'e' button does not work. I can only open and close doors but I can not access any lootable containers or bags. The button is red and in brackets. Second issues is that I do not see my inventory slots when I press tab. I only see the craftable menu; hence I am not able to see and use what I collect. Third, I am not able to repair any items on the toolbar. If anyone has solutions for these issues, please let me know as I am very eager to play this mod. Thanks.
Are you sure you are using the correct 7 Days to Die alpha version with the latest version of AOO? The link is in my description for version 7.1, and it should go with Alpha 21.2 stable. Try rolling back to Alpha 21.2 stable in your 7 Days to die Steam setting properties. Also redownload the mod and try again.
Hi, I have done all 7 main quests, crafted last one (research facility), but when i read it, it says "You can not use this at this time". Any idea why? Also - I am surprized how few information one can find about this mod (discussions and such) ... was hoping for discord to fix that but it asks for autentication (which i did ... put mobile phone number, got code) and after putting code in, it asks for pasword. So is discord closed to public (if so then I dont understand why author of this mod put invitations (aka link to discord) everywhere)?
Discord is still functioning for the public. I see about 20 did join in the past 24 hours. I know there is a quest command you can use to run each quest without the requirements. So, if you type "givequest questelitetrader02", without quotes, it will give the trader 2 quest. However, I don't know what the research facility quest is. You can try looking at the quest name and changing various console commands. I did search for the error on the discord, but only came with one post which was unrelated.
I just hope all the road vehicles don't sound like that freakin vanilla 4x4.🤦🏽♀ I hate the sound of that thing when ur driving it, sounds like a school bus or trash truck.🤔🤨😬
Unfortunately, I think they do. Pipermac pumps his own money into the mod, so he often uses free effects. Along with working on the mod in his free time, it doesn't give him much to tweak it as much.

You get the table when you finish the first quest, which if I recall correctly is to just get to a trader after finishing a few of the basic starter quests. Did you do that already?

Yes, I was curious about your thoughts and they do echo my own in some ways. I have done a limited playthrough in version 7, but quest 6 is still a pain as it was in version 6. The mini gun was a means to vaporous monsters, but I still stuck with the M60 as well. I also maintain the farming is elaborate and extensive, but not necessary. Still, it must stay as it is part of what makes AOO. :)

@@SnowBee Sounds good and no worries. We loved all of it and I can only imagine how hard it is to balance it all over the different aspects of gameplay. Farming would def be worth it with a bigger group and it could be one persons role. Maybe can put some side quests that are about making certain foods/drinks. Maybe lock the bat mobile and m-17 helicopter behind some hard quests to have something to look forward to. Have a great day, I love your channel!

Yeah, I think you are the second one that has mentioned that to me in the past two weeks. It certainly filled up the world with extra things to do while exploring :)
The arenas essentially replace them... right now there is just one arena quest but the frame work I have put in place will allow me to easily alter it.... I can make an arena quest that just spawns one round of bosses.

It is quite steep with its resources. Dev says minimum of 16GB of RAM. Still, I love this mod, along with Joke Mod, they both bring a sense of craziness to 7D2D :)
excellent video explaining some of the treasures in the mod. Im looking to craft elite repair kits at my chem station with both options installed. i have the skull tokens but the option to craft dosnt show only track. I can make them at the elite trader but not at the chem station? thanks for any info and subscribed.
I don't recall if you can craft Elite Repair Kits. I know you can purchase them from Elite Traders, as you have noticed. So, that is how you likely get them, from the Elite Traders. They are "crafted" at the Elite Trader with skull tokens.
I see, funny thing when you purchase them from the Elite trader you acturlly have to craft them at the vendor location so i thought you would be able to craft them from the chem station. thanks for the info @@SnowBee

I asked Pipermac about this, and he responded with this concerning repeatable quests:
Arenas, kill 1000 quest, and Cave Escapes are repeatable. Possibly the Killer Clowns are repeatable as well.

Found the mod after i random found your video. love the mod. everything works and is great tho. one thing that favorit car you drive around in a cirkel i can't do anything with it in my game, can't find a spot to unlock or even just destroy it so totally bugged you know if it true ( if it is bugged) ??

Are you sure the vehicle you found is drivable? Maybe it is just an unrepairable one? But I guess not if you can't even destroy it. Sometimes restarting the game can fix bugged vehicles.
If everything else is working, then your version of 7D2D is likely fine. I know one of the biggest problems has been the version of A21.2 is incorrect, so it leads to things not working or the inventory looking strange.
I really hope 7D2D base game steals the idea of the dropbox. I've been wanting this for so long!
Yeah, I do think the small one is a bit too small. I hope there is going to be a medium sized one that doesn't require the new ore.

Is this still super resource intensive on your Pc? I haven't played since A19, but I remember that it was a hog. It was one of my favorite mods tho!
In some ways I think the large POI's are quite intensive. It is not as bad as version 6 (IMHO), but it is still recommended to have at least 16GB of RAM.
I've been playing AOO for a few days. Even though I never played the Joke Mod; but this is like the Joke Mod (to my knowledge of seeing it on RUclips) with a few differences. Also there is a few items that need their icons and descriptions updated. Otherwise, it is pretty solid. IMO, I think they need to lose the clowns and put in some other freaky shit, when they get the time.
Yes, the localisation is pretty much non existent at times. It is quite noticeable. However, pipermac struggles to get players to help him, so he slowly slogs through with the updating.
Ah the one Overhaul that eludes me. Hopefully one of these days ill get the ram to try this out! Pretty crazy you need 24 to 32GB of ram to play.

Sorry for the late reply. A combination of playing Ark and RL work has been getting in my way. Yeah, they are a bit of a pain. In some cases I would get out of the water and shoot them. I spent most of my time in the shallows as I only collected about 20 ore in my testing. So, other than that a melee weapon should help?

Sorry for the delayed response. I was finishing up and then responding with people on my DF video. Okay, so it is not quite obvious, and something I should have mentioned in my video. I didn't know about it either. There is a vehicle crushing machine in the vehicle trader (Vic). If you put vehicles in the "Vehicles" queue that you have found, repaired, etc, then about 60 seconds later it salvages them into vehicle coins. The coins you get out will depend on the level of the vehicle. So some will give you like 8 coins, while a scooter is like 1 coin. I don't think it works with the crafted vanilla vehicles like the bicycle or motorcycle or minibike.

Okay, you will get a much more stable play for a server or co-op play if you go with Undead Legacy. Just remember, UL is still in A20. The A21 version has not been released yet. Undead Legacy will give you all you want and is better with friends due to all the resource collecting you need to do. The only thing is UL doesn't have new monsters, except the Scorpions. Playing with friends, for now, I would choose UL.

Yeah, sorry, RL has meant I am hardly creating videos. The nature of my job usually takes all my time during January and February. I was actually going to do a vehicle vid soon after this one, just never happened.

Ammo goes into your inventory, either usually 9mm, 7.62 or .50. Then you mount the vehicle and press Q to shoot.

If i choose Game World "New Random World" at start of the new server will i have all the new stuffs and locations? Or should i choose different one? Sorry for dumb question but i am kinda confused.
The RWG should work fine, especially if you play on a large world around 10k in size. You should get the Dark Castle, Research Centre, Arena's and Elite Traders. Even the huge Circus or Amusement Park should spawn in as well.

But as for the mod, I've played it and really tried to like it but just couldn't, everything seems just done in a "quantity over quality" way. Everything seems kinda scuffed. Seems like a lot of great ideas, but with too little staff to work on them, so everything looks very below avg. I couldn't get immersed for 10 minutes in it.
Fair enough. Yeah, he doesn't get an income from modding, so it is not easy to find good models and compatible modlets, etc. So, I know what you mean, but he does try to bring his ideas together. Certainly, those ideas are not always enjoyed, and not everyone's cup of tea. Still, thanks for commenting :)
I am finding new ore kurburium a pain to get. I know you need the underwater mask, but I don't have one. Never found it. I have to find like 100 or so of the ore to make all the stuff. Takes so long I have given up. I hope the mask can be crafted sometime?
I am unsure it it will be a crafted item. If enough complain about it, I am sure Pipermac will make it easier to obtain. Of course we don't want it to be too easy to obtain an elite ore.
If anyone expects to go out and get 100 all at once it would defeat the purpose of difficulty and progression.
I'm liking the mod, but it's far from done. My first random gen map did not spawn any caves or arenas, or the vehicle trader - quest markers just say no trader, so I tried the POI teleport and sure enough nothing there. All kinds of POI's spawned way up in the air and dirt was just falling. I do love the overall conecpt and am still playing thru the jank on my 2nd random map.
I can't seem to figure out what to do with the pelts, there's a workbench hammer beside them, but no crafting tables will let me make leather out of the hides, I'm forced to bash couches as my only source of leather
Are you sure you are using the correct version? I spawned a few maps and never had problems like that. However, I did have a problem if I used anything anything above Alpha 21.1 stable. As far as I know, 21.1 is what you must use, and definitely not the latest version or any experimental.
Leather comes from your normal places similar to vanilla. However, Pelts are used for making multiple pieces of leather. I don't think it is documented correctly, but you need to use the Farm Table to convert pelts into leather. It is a lot that you get. About 20 from one pelt, so it is worth it. If you select a pelt, it has a recipe which tells you to craft the pelt with nitrate and fat. I see the leopard pelt does not show the recipe, but a few others I checked now do.

Is number 8 the Research Facility? You just completed the Skeleton King?
If so, if I recall, you can type givequest questresearchfacility into the console command and it gives that quest.
@SnowBee yes completed 7 and it let me print out 8. When I try to read it it just says can't be used at this time.

You need the correct ammo in your inventory. Then press Q on your keyboard.
Certainly not a stupid moment. It is not obvious, and this is likely the most requested vehicle & guns question.

Grind the books? You mean completing quests? You still need to complete quests to level your AOO skills. Some are repeatable. Unsure if that is what you mean.

Were you able to unlock the helicopter? I asked someone else about it as well, and they said they eventually cheated one in as they just could not get the helicopter to show in the trader. They waited an hour with more than one player on their server trying.
@@SnowBee no still no movement on the helicopter unlocking. It shows bold white when I have 7 coins but just locked with no instructions on how to unlock to actually purchase or make it.

news on undead legacy?
Nope, it is still a while. Subquake maybe going the way of Rebirth and Apocalypse Now, which is December or January if we are lucky. Even Sorcery is a bit delayed with its October 31 update. This A21 has been such a code change, it is caused a huge headache for the modders that make massive overhauls. UL is always a well polished overhaul, that it is usually the last overhaul to bring out a large patch/version update.
I can't drive any of these vehicles, only search them after unlocking.
Are you using version 7 with the stable alpha 21.2?
I downloaded the mod from two different sources. The game works but there are some major issues with it, or with my computer. One issue is that the 'e' button does not work. I can only open and close doors but I can not access any lootable containers or bags. The button is red and in brackets. Second issues is that I do not see my inventory slots when I press tab. I only see the craftable menu; hence I am not able to see and use what I collect. Third, I am not able to repair any items on the toolbar. If anyone has solutions for these issues, please let me know as I am very eager to play this mod. Thanks.
Are you sure you are using the correct 7 Days to Die alpha version with the latest version of AOO?
The link is in my description for version 7.1, and it should go with Alpha 21.2 stable. Try rolling back to Alpha 21.2 stable in your 7 Days to die Steam setting properties. Also redownload the mod and try again.

Hi, I have done all 7 main quests, crafted last one (research facility), but when i read it, it says "You can not use this at this time". Any idea why? Also - I am surprized how few information one can find about this mod (discussions and such) ... was hoping for discord to fix that but it asks for autentication (which i did ... put mobile phone number, got code) and after putting code in, it asks for pasword. So is discord closed to public (if so then I dont understand why author of this mod put invitations (aka link to discord) everywhere)?
Discord is still functioning for the public. I see about 20 did join in the past 24 hours. I know there is a quest command you can use to run each quest without the requirements. So, if you type "givequest questelitetrader02", without quotes, it will give the trader 2 quest. However, I don't know what the research facility quest is. You can try looking at the quest name and changing various console commands.
I did search for the error on the discord, but only came with one post which was unrelated.

Unfortunately, I think they do. Pipermac pumps his own money into the mod, so he often uses free effects. Along with working on the mod in his free time, it doesn't give him much to tweak it as much.

You get the table when you finish the first quest, which if I recall correctly is to just get to a trader after finishing a few of the basic starter quests. Did you do that already?
