- Obsessed gamer Arisu suddenly finds himself in a strange, emptied-out version of Tokyo in which he and his friends must compete in dangerous games in order to survive.
Synopsis:
In Tokyo, video-game obsessed Arisu hangs out with his friends Chōta and Karube. While dancing in the streets of Shibuya Crossing, the trio causes an altercation which results in them being chased by the police. Hiding in a bathroom in the station, the group reemerges to find the city empty. At night, the group notices a billboard leading them to a "game arena." Inside, the trio finds a stack of phones, which show them the game's difficulty level, illustrated by a playing card.

This is a great concept of a story... A manga adaptation with technoir scifi, video game inspired fantasy adventure. This series has us hooked due to it's presentation.......

Funfact:the main character alice is pronounce in japanese as arisu that's why it's alice and borderland
Also an even funner fact: His family name is Arisu, but we don't know his actual given name yet

I love that people are discovering and appreciating ALICE IN BORDERLAND which I think it’s the best serie in the death game genre. I like how the games got us all thinking what the way to clear it is
