The first time I saw the Ace Cafe I was on 2 wheels but I had to pedal. It was part of the highlight of that ride that day as I had left Heathrow/Feltham area in the morning and I still had quite a few miles to go around the north circular to give one of the Spice Girls a Get Well Card after she hurt her ankle during the filming of Spiceworld. I didn't even know where to go to but trusted in my luck, a photo from the newspaper and a London A-Z. I was lucky, and then I gave my card to her mother. Still haven't met Emma Bunton, but I have a great memory and signed autograph posted to me! Thanks for your video, the Ace Cafe has many Ace dreams to remember.

My father was a member of the 59 club and one of the original ton up boys over Chelsea Bridge, and Father Bill went to court with him a couple times for speeding 😂 been to the ACE myself, love it

I have not lived in that part of the world since 74 and I had motor bikes from 63. I only ever saw the Ace Cafe' once (my old 350 AJS was incapable of doing the ton). Hard to believe that cafe' is still operating when most of the English bike manufacturers have long since gone broke. I have a 650cc Royal Engfield now, made in India but it does have a lot of input from UK Triumph engineers and UK chassis specialists. A fine bike if you are not looking for the ultimate in high powered 2 wheel transport (good value for money).

We went by, must have been 20+ years ago, when he was still working on getting it up and removing all the old tire store remnants, and only thing he had to sell were some patches. Now they’re franchised everywhere.

Hope it's still doing ok due to the covid thing. I'm a wheelchair user, but I can get out of mine, although I obviously can't stand, I wouldn't be interested in that thing at the end, got some better ideas for accessible bikes than that.
