From when the fayth of Bahamut stops time to talk to Tidus, through Auron guiding Tidus through Zanarkand to Sin, to where Tidus swims up to the illusion of Jecht.
Eppie 72 ends just after I get on board the airship after whooping Yunaleska. AFter I'm done re-uploading all my old collection, I plan to start recording the rest. But I have all the side quests to do before I take on Sin, lol.
I love you! I have never been able to play the Final Fantasy even though my friend got me addicted to seeing the clips and story... Now you posted it on here... Thank you so much!
SPOILERZ Tidus doesn't actually travel through time. What you see in the beginning of the game is Dream Zanarkand. It's the Zanarkand that the fayth on top Mount Gagazet are being used to create. Yu Yevon, who's inside Sin, is using those fayth to continually summon DZ. When Tidus comes into contact with Sin, like Jecht, he becomes "real". However, since he's still part of Dream Zanarkand, which is basically a giant Aeon since it's being summoned, he disappears when Yuna does her final sending.
I remember the first time I played this, I was sixteen. I couldn't sleep the first night I got it. I played all the other ones and the step up in graphics and voice acting just put it over the top for me. Now I'm waiting for XIII to come out. I can't wait to see how much the graphics have improved.
i got a question guys. sorry if its really stupid though .. does tidus go years back in time or something when he gets like 'eaten'? it's been so long ago ..
I never understood one thing. When that thing explodes, Tidus looks like he's sent flying due to the huge explosion, yet four seconds later he's just standing near Auron, convering himself. Anyone can explain that to me?
can someone explain this to me: Why is it that sin keeps sending sin spawns for them to have to fight when sin (Jecht) 'wants' them to get to the future? And if this sin here isn't the Jecht sin, how come Auron talks to it as if it is?
@vorabrx75 No they don't. I've found out this though: These creatures help with getting our offensive Overdrive modes. I got Slayer and Warrior, already here. If you want to know another little great tip for an "easy-start"; Before facing Sin from Besaid -> Kilika, get Haste. When fighting Sin on the boat, don't kill Sin, but use Cheer enough so you can one-shot them, ofc use Haste at start on Wakka, Tidus and Khimari. But make sure every team member hit atleast one enemy.
thanks so much for putting his up....never played the game but i simply fell in love wih the story through clips amv.....plan to play it very soon though
@sweetouth20 If you want a more 'guided' sphere grid, use the Basic/Beginner Sphere Grid. The difference is that the Expert/Advanced Sphere Grid makes it so that the majority of the Characters begin at the same place making it possible to, for example; make Wakka go down the mage route (Lulu's route) and learn Fire,Blizzard, Water, Thunder etc as oppose to his usual route which usually involves things like 'Sleep Attack/Buster, Dark Attack/Buster' etc.
I love how at the beginning of (almost every) game, the main character has a wonderful life, and it seems so perfect. Then, all of a sudden, some villain or evil thing comes in and takes away what they hold dear. And while everything is happening, the character is thinking, "WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON?!"
I liked FFX-2, I LOVED the Garment Grid and the way Y. R. P. changed outfits too. They're all sprakly and shiny and the outfits are gorgeous. Oh and nice Overkill by the way that was totally epic. X)
yea i fought omega and dark aeons. but i liked fighting penance he was hard :) i like a good challenge. i never fought nemesis tho is he harder than penance cuz i heard he was harder?
My favorite Final Fantasy games are Final Fantasy IV (GBA and DS versions), Final Fantasy V (GBA version), Final Fantasy VII (though I have not played it), Final Fantasy VIII (though I have not played it either), and Final Fantasy X (though I have not played that one either).
In the Samurai code, they would rap up their left arm and not use it until they fulfill the wish of one of their comrades. In Aurons case, he was given a task by Jecht to bring Tidus to him and end him from his misery. He couldn't use his left arm until this request was completed.
When I bought Final Fantasy X I thought it was gonna have a lot of action and mystical adventures, I was wrong. It has a bunch of cutscenes and less action with buttons.
well, converse05 was asking " who is that small guy that 'it begins' and 'don't cry'" so I was giving him a hint to know who that small kid in purple was..but it seems to get complicated so I'l just spoil it anyway, the kid is Bahamut's fayth and the one who created/dreamt Tidus..
Here's SUndays eppie. For those who are new to these, I previosuly had 54 eppies. For those who are not new, I got up to eppie 72 recorded :D Hehe, hope you enjoy these...again
@AvForDaelen ur saying the damage in this video walkthrough is higher than yours at this point? either of the following 3 options - im misintrepreting you - ur completely wrong, cuz you cant be stronger or weaker at this point - u have a different version where the damage at the start is lower (seems unlikely and weird) as for the sinspawn.. just beat some monsters and get some levels
@washu642000 well you can clean the laser with a cd called laser clean (or something like that) but i dont think it works for 100% cleaning it completely, i have no idea... if i did i would have been able to play ffx now :( (it doesnt accept the cleaning disc anymore, its really far gone, my ps2)
It really is worth it. The story line is awesome and I am sure you will love it. I have spent well over 100 hours on it already, and I still have a lot to do. :D
I agree too, i was rather disapointed in FF XII, gameplay just didn't feel like the franchise should be, i mean, they tried to take it in a different direction, but not everyone thought that was a good idea, FF XII was a game you either loved alot, or hated alot hehe. FF X is awesome, i rank it almost with FF VII :)
@mrflappy28 unfortunately i can relate to you.. it probably is your ps2 malfunctioning in my case its old and gathered a lot of dust in it and thus does not play all the games as it should ( Some work, some dont... ffx is one that doesnt, while its the one i wanna play most of all :( ) anyway, the way to fix it is to clean your playstations inside. or, if you're lucky its just your cd that has a scratch, in which case there are probably video rental stores near that can fix that for you
Auron: "I hope you know how to use it." My answer: "What the sword? what so hard to learn about swish swish stab? its a freakin sword dude, its not a fighter jet."
I agree with everything you said. FFXIII has gotten a lot of unnecessary hate since it's been out. I loved everything about the game. I don't just play a game because of the graphics, I play a game for the story. FFXIII's story was impeccable! I didn't really think that you were just running in the same direction the whole game. I though of it like we could only GO one direction, if that makes sense. FFXIII-2 had a good story as well, except for the end , which ruined everything.
FFXIII had the different roles and every character had a feel of uniqueness, even in terms of game play abilities. Different teams made shorter work of different areas. Wide array of paradigm combinations made for good strategy, challenging game and battle music kicked ass. They took the time to develop all characters throughout the game, Hope went from being annoying to my fav character. The one way map, gave a feel of isolation, hopelessness and you being screwed which is what the party felt.
Just because Sin is Jecht doesn't mean he can control it the entire time. By this time Jecht is mostly Sin and is losing his real self. Plus, Tidus and Auron getting to Spira means the destruction of Sin. So it's kind of self preservation as well.
can't wait for the remake. i still think the reasons i enjoyed these games most was bc i would play them with RL friends and not in an xbox live party. RL is so much better =( damn you internet
@sweetouth20 then u get alll the abilities u want, but thats the build i do, so it works for me, i dont know if it works for someone else, cuz im a random player, i change stuff every walktrough....well i hope it helps :)
KH is an cool game. in KH you don't have to take turns selecting the move of your characters your just one and through out the game you can run into a couple of FF cherecters, like in one world (The Colluseum) you can fight Sephiroth. there are a lot of Disney characters and interaction with then and there are also summons you can preform but they are all Disney characters not like the FF Aeons. its a pretty cool game.
@JBommer4488 lol same! Shiva's always been my favourite recurring summon cause she's really fast and has something really high and classy about her! Also she's never the most powerful summon in the games but she's always really powerful for the time that you get her. Basically I see Shiva + Ifrit + Bahumut as essentials for every FF game!
I'm actually really glad you posted these. It allows me to enjoy the story of final fantasy x without all the delay of power leveling
10 years later and i still LOVE this intro,, so perfect
lol 10 years :0
Eppie 72 ends just after I get on board the airship after whooping Yunaleska. AFter I'm done re-uploading all my old collection, I plan to start recording the rest. But I have all the side quests to do before I take on Sin, lol.
One of my favorite games of all time, and the beginning here is one of my favorite parts!
Almost, within the next week I will be posting the rest of the eppies (up to part 86), then I'll be done, hehe :)
This is what I think *Air Guitar Solo* *Headbangs* freakin awesome. Love your walkthroughs man.
I love you! I have never been able to play the Final Fantasy even though my friend got me addicted to seeing the clips and story... Now you posted it on here... Thank you so much!
thanks for the walk through, its like playing the game without having to
this was the first walkthrough I ever did., back before I had the Directors account where I could upload the longer vids.
Just watching this makes we want to play it all over again. Can't wait to get home from work tonight..... !
dude thank you for posting the best game on the planet all the way through! thank you so much!!! this game rocks!!!
THE LAST CUT SCENE STILL SENDS CHILLS UP MY SPINE.
SPOILERZ

That be crazy the world in real life would end like this and we all appear in different worlds 1000 years later!
I remember the first time I played this, I was sixteen. I couldn't sleep the first night I got it. I played all the other ones and the step up in graphics and voice acting just put it over the top for me. Now I'm waiting for XIII to come out. I can't wait to see how much the graphics have improved.

Man, this game is like nostalgia city for me. I loved it.
Whats the name of the song that starts at 8:50
when they are being sucked into Sin?
@Joakofortunato2470 does the disc have any scratches? if so theres you problem because then it'd glitch up CGI cutscenes
I never understood one thing. When that thing explodes, Tidus looks like he's sent flying due to the huge explosion, yet four seconds later he's just standing near Auron, convering himself. Anyone can explain that to me?

It's one of the best games you'll ever play, pastapopcorn.

Some of the best final fantasy music
The scene where Tidus is floating around, suddenly makes more sense after finishing the game...
I liked FFX-2, I LOVED the Garment Grid and the way Y. R. P. changed outfits too. They're all sprakly and shiny and the outfits are gorgeous. Oh and nice Overkill by the way that was totally epic. X)
can you explain the game to me i watched the whole walkthrough of ffx and ff x2 but i still dont get it
Do you guys know a playthrough of this game where it's NTSC, no commentary, and has higher quality than this video?
I have an answer for you, Unex. Their regular attack is a lunge, but when their wings flicker, they give you a spine attack, shooting needles at you.
wats tha name of that song playing when tidus is hangin? before they get sucked into sin
Tidus disappareted from his town? Whats his town name anyways.
I love this~!
Shortie: It begins.
Tidus: *walks slowly towards him* Wha?
Love the music in the opening minutes.
Anyone know what its called?
When the little monsters are in their pod things, they remind me of the alien eggs in the movie "Alien". :D
yea i fought omega and dark aeons. but i liked fighting penance he was hard :) i like a good challenge. i never fought nemesis tho is he harder than penance cuz i heard he was harder?
the save sphere restores all HP/MP, all u gotta do is press X while around it to bring up that stupid menu
How do you pronounce Auron's name. Is it Aw-ron or Ow-ron. I'm confused.
i dont get it when the wings start flickering it just waste there turn
whats the music playing when they are fighting?
I love how Auron just pulls another sword out of nowhere :P
Can someone please explain to me who that little boy is at 0:02?

What is the name of song in the background?
When I bought Final Fantasy X I thought it was gonna have a lot of action and mystical adventures, I was wrong. It has a bunch of cutscenes and less action with buttons.
and how did u find out it was bahamut's fayth?
i dont have the game but i absolutely love the storyline
and the graphics at 8:52 are amazing
love this game
Get VII and VIII now! Don't forget IX either! Theses games continue to get rarer and rarer and the best of the ff games were on the psone!
what's the prob with ix? loves it!
well, converse05 was asking " who is that small guy that 'it begins' and 'don't cry'" so I was giving him a hint to know who that small kid in purple was..but it seems to get complicated so I'l just spoil it anyway, the kid is Bahamut's fayth and the one who created/dreamt Tidus..

does anyone elses game glitch at 0:59, it doesen't trigger the cutscene of auron and tidus looking at the water globe thing. >:(
@AvForDaelen
ur saying the damage in this video walkthrough is higher than yours at this point?
either of the following 3 options
- im misintrepreting you
- ur completely wrong, cuz you cant be stronger or weaker at this point
- u have a different version where the damage at the start is lower (seems unlikely and weird)
as for the sinspawn.. just beat some monsters and get some levels
@washu642000
well you can clean the laser with a cd called laser clean (or something like that)
but i dont think it works for 100%
cleaning it completely, i have no idea... if i did i would have been able to play ffx now :( (it doesnt accept the cleaning disc anymore, its really far gone, my ps2)
I can watch all parts of this walkthrough like it were a movie
It really is worth it. The story line is awesome and I am sure you will love it. I have spent well over 100 hours on it already, and I still have a lot to do. :D
what was the thing that sucks up auron and tidus
wait, wait, wait... how come you get that sword? that's not the sword you originally get...
final fantasy 10 was the best one hands down
i beat this game 5 times and it is awsome!!!!!!!! best game ever a little hard.
Tidus is such an awesome main character but Auron is probably the coolest overall. And Yuna is the most memorable and relatable.
whats the name of the first battle music.
anyone
I agree too, i was rather disapointed in FF XII, gameplay just didn't feel like the franchise should be, i mean, they tried to take it in a different direction, but not everyone thought that was a good idea, FF XII was a game you either loved alot, or hated alot hehe. have u guys noticed the sword he starts off with looks exactly Garaganto's weapon from onimusha only that tidus's weapon is red
thanks for the upload these are great
@BlondieCartoons actually, I sorted this problem out a while ago, XD I just had to clean my disc throughly, but gently, try it, it might work!
Auron's one of the coolest video game characters ever. Anima's one of my favourite things about this game. amazing game...
did u use an emulator?
I wonder what's the name of the background music
I believe it's called Hurry
@@RinioLazulii Hurry
the best final fantasy game ever...i wanna play this game againg...=/
Tidus was fighting those fiends with his bare hands xD
@mrflappy28
unfortunately i can relate to you..
it probably is your ps2 malfunctioning
in my case its old and gathered a lot of dust in it and thus does not play all the games as it should ( Some work, some dont... ffx is one that doesnt, while its the one i wanna play most of all :( )
anyway, the way to fix it is to clean your playstations inside.

Auron: "I hope you know how to use it."
My answer: "What the sword? what so hard to learn about swish swish stab?
its a freakin sword dude, its not a fighter jet."
fayth of Bahamut? what's that
Auron is pretty much the only guy Chuck Norris fears.
Auron *laghs* we are expected
Jecht: what?! give me a break man!
lol, yeah takes about a second, especially if you rotate the directional pad.
I agree with everything you said. FFXIII has gotten a lot of unnecessary hate since it's been out. I loved everything about the game. Has anybody else noticed the pattern here for these games? the main hero almost always has a sword of some kind.
Oh, thank you! It makes sense now.
that little kid is actually 1000 years old, the reason hes still a 'kid' is because he became a fayth at that age as well
Auron: "Take it."
Auron "A gift form Jecht ".
Tidus :" My old man"?
FFXIII had the different roles and every character had a feel of uniqueness, even in terms of game play abilities. Different teams made shorter work of different areas. Wide array of paradigm combinations made for good strategy, challenging game and battle music kicked ass. Auron = The Clint Eastwood of Final Fantasy
Tidus: Auron! Let's get outta here!
Auron: We're expected...
Tidus: HUH?
LOL!
Have you ever played FFIX and FFVIII? Those two has the best soundtracks
@Xeno455 Except Chuck Norris isn't his father.
can't wait for the remake. i still think the reasons i enjoyed these games most was bc i would play them with RL friends and not in an xbox live party. RL is so much better =( damn you internet
@dancecoolest I'd guess that it's probably because he's the most powerful aeon you're required to get.
Really? well I got confused I thought the first sword was the one that looked like it was made of water.
hey dont u have a ps3?
@sweetouth20 then u get alll the abilities u want, but thats the build i do, so it works for me, i dont know if it works for someone else, cuz im a random player, i change stuff every walktrough....well i hope it helps :)

"We called it Sin."
"Tidus, have you embraced Jesus Christ yet?"
Logic
That kid is Bahamut, one my favorite aeons!!
