Great video! Thank you for all your great info. I have just purchased a second set of rims also. Have you ever tired to fit 150 wide tyre on the smaller rear rim? The rear rim I have is the 2.5” so wanted to try and fit the tyre I have at the moment on the standard rim which is a 150 . Hope you can help
Hi, no - sorry I have run 140's on all of my rims from new. I've got a new 150 sitting there that came off the 790, but never fitted it to the smaller rims. I imagine that they will fit, it's only 10mm different. Cheers

Hi, yeah I'd like to ride up there a bit more, let's catch up at some stage. The old KTM mechanic at Motorcyclesrus did it, he was a bit of a bike whisperer...said it was tricky to find where to do it....not there anymore unfortunately. But maybe he let them know how he did it. Its not on a visible menu on the dash. Give them a buzz...they will know who you mean when you ask them about my bike. Cheers

Really interesting vid, thank you. Carbon-fibre uke - brilliant, and bring on the 790 podcast. Ride safe and good luck with channel expanding and more riding post-Covid. Cheers.

The ukulele is the most ridiculous thing ever. Instead, like me, you should load up a pair of drumsticks and a drum pad as I do so I can hit some ryhthm on the road, (and trail). 😁Excellent video, thank you! Great tips.
Haha...nice one, but I think you have mistaken music for hitting things in time, lol - however there are maybe even better drummer jokes than ukulele ones: What do you call a drummer with half a brain? Gifted. What does a drummer use for contraception? His personality. What do you say to a drummer in a three-piece suit? "Will the defendant please rise?" "Hey buddy, how late does the band play?" "Oh, about half a beat behind the drummer." And on and on :)

Hi, I thought the look of the fairing of the MST was more like the 2019/20 450RR Rally bike (you can order it with that actual KTM screen for an extra fee). It's a tough kit - mine hasn't moved a mm, and I've dropped it so many times...good stuff. I think the Rade looked more like the 2015/16/17 RR kit, with that kicked up angle at the top. At the end of the day there is no bad choice, enjoy :)
@@leonvdb8388 It's a big step better for wind protection...in fact the negative comments from those that fitted the Rade screen onto their normal front ends (which is that same older shape) was another reason that I went with MST, and was happy with the result. Great job you've done!!! I know I said it before, but that's the best looking 790 and still within affordable boundaries 😅 I love modification and personalized touches to my bike. Worth every penny 👍 Look after your self 🙂
