Two things can be true. It was Noah's opinion, but he was also hating. When Lyles was at the podium almost a year ago, the NBA wasn't even a topic of discussion. He brought it up out of nowhere because he said it was something that "hurt him the most" when NBA champs are called world champs. Instead of taking the opportunity to elevate his own sport, he decided to talk down on a sport he's not even involved in.
