I’m not sure where you’re seeing that price? It’s about half that for both.
I would say it depends on how often you think you’d use it as to whether it’s worth it. If something requires constant stirring and you have other things to cook at the same time, and this is a common issue, then it’s worth it. Or if you make candy a lot that requires constant stirring. This specific candy is 30 minutes of constant stirring and it gets very hot for me to sit there and do that (having to switch gloved hands to help with the heat. 😭). So for me, it is. But that may not be the case for everyone.
