This is great for remote clients. I personally just use my iPad as a secondary display either wired or wireless with latest macOS and iPadOS and use that as a reference feed. This way, the setup is more local and iPad and macOS connection even in wireless mode has very little to no lag
How so you get the viewer window to go to the iPad?

This is crazy!!!!!
The other alternative is universal control. Instead of downloading the app, just turn on Universal Control and keep the iPad next to you. Once the Mac recognises the iPad go to settings display and choose or extend or Mirror display. Then inside dvr you can enable the dual screen option under workspaces. I just stumbled across this feature today LOL.
Is this only available on the studio version?
I think it's purpose is a bit different - e.g. to give access to a client (or DP) on remote location for real time monitoring of editing/compositing/color grading... process.
But, this one can be useful too, because many people uses DR for making content for social media exclusively, so they can preview in real time how things will look on client's mobile device.

FYI this can output an HDR signal to your iPhone/iPad which is an easy workaround if you don't have an HDR computer monitor.
Be advised if you tell a professional colorist that you color grade HDR on an iPhone the'll likely have an aneurysm but those same people tell you you shouldn't color grade on a rec709 monitor either yet we all do it.

Hey Jamie, when i try to use a vertical timeline, the monitoring goes glitchy. It seems like it only works on a horizontal aspect ratio, did you have the same issue?

I don’t have this option available on the current DaVinci Resolve 18.5 Public Beta available. I’m on Windows. Is this feature only available on Mac? Or only in the Studio Version? For information: I also did not find this feature on the iPad Version (Here i have the Studio). It also not hidden in the Keyboard Shortcuts.

can we do triple monitors instead of dual screen!!! reason asking bc I'm in need of three monitors because I use three cameras for work. When I'm editing, I prefer to have three monitors to display each camera's footage separately. This makes it much easier for me to review and select clips during timeline editing. Do you have any alternative suggestions?
