What an amazing find . I bet when it was in operation it was very beautiful . I love that original stand glass window though . And those volts are very unique they don't make those no more
The little numbered booths/rooms weren't for meeting with a banker. They're to provide privacy for people to look in their safety deposit boxes in private. LOVE your vids and explorations!
You'd make a great Architect, Bob. You've got a sharp eye! Especially when it comes to details. That lobby ceiling is amazing! I've seen that type of design in a very old hotel here in town. It was built back in the late 1800's...but, it's anything but abandoned! Still in operation and some floors are reserved for students at the community college, which is a 20 minute walk away *in an old fort that goes back to the 1700's!!* Most of the buildings used there are former military buildings like the chow hall, commander's quarters etc. I used to get stoned and take my dog for walks there at night. Not a good place to be stoned at 1am, creepy as hell!! I would sometimes hear friggin' footsteps around us but I could never locate where they were coming from. And it was just me, my dog and the overnight security crew of 3!! And *they always* had crazy stories! Nobody among the security personell liked working night shift so they rotated them. I can't blame them!
I've never seen a bank like this till now. Thanks for sharing the video! That vault is something else. The ceiling and walls reminds me of an ancient Roman temple. When you cut the film of the vault to the next clip, was that another persons shadow quickly darting from right to left just behind the iron gate on the left? It's there for like just a millisecond at 1:20-1:21. It doesn't look normal.
Haha I had a friend with me who was running around trying to shoot and stay out of the way. Thanks for watching! I've tried to explore this bank for several years so this was great to finally see this beauty.
Correction again: the vault in the teller area would not safe deposit boxes. That's where the tellers kept their cash boxes at the end of the night! No bank would ever allow a customer to come behind the teller line
Did you know back in love 50 60 70s you know people took pride in their work it's not like nowadays everything's made out of plastic or plastic nobody has any pride in their work nothing like that man and that vault is killer that is one thing you don't want shut on you and have it locked cuz I have a feeling they couldn't find the combination to save their life or to save yours
what a spectacular place!!.. but let me tell you something, dear friend - if you - one day - don't want to explore abandoned places any more, you could / should work as a story reader or something like that. your voice is made for this. I love to listen to.
Was stuff removed before water damage? This would be like working in a prison with the bats and security. No thanks. Claustrophobia, no way.... stain glass and ceiling beautiful... no bank is built like this any longer. Thanks for the explore
I disagree with what you said about those rooms that had the numbers on them. There's no way customers met with bank Personnel to discuss accounts. Those rooms were used for privacy when customers remove their safe-deposit boxes from the main vault
This is the same vault you showed before, isn't it? It was flooded with a couple feet of water but you guys went for it anyway just to get the footage. I thought that was pretty awesome, and it's incredible to see what it looks like after being drained. Great video.
This is a completely different bank in a different state. We wouldn't make a video on the same location twice. There's so many abandoned banks with circle vaults like this in the USA.
They didn't skip all that place now did they man just think of the money that went into that place to build it to shudder it I mean how does a bank go broke unless they just make bad loans
Its probably center's of old tellers that has passed away. Still in ghere ,this to is creepy like the abandoned funeral home ,they left the building and not Elvis. Someone probably took all the old jewelry form those deposits. Like from the movie Titanic, so old spooky yall do thus all the time ,I know you are nit alone ,well keep me it going, that could be my horror story instead of watching 👀 a movie ,I just chime in on this.
Incredible explore! I am addicted to your work and style. Just Awesome!! ❤
Thank you so much Katie 😀 We have some really cool projects coming up these next few weeks! Stay tuned.

Spectacular find. It's like traveling back in time! 🤯
You got that right! This ones a gem. Thanks for watching.
The little rooms are for looking at your safety deposit boxes in private
The ceiling is just so beautiful!!!!
I'm so happy that this beautiful building is not going to go to waste!!!!
Love it!!!
Abandoned places can be so cool fr
What an amazing find . I bet when it was in operation it was very beautiful . I love that original stand glass window though . And those volts are very unique they don't make those no more
Yes it was! This was a very unique bank. Thanks so much for watching.
Just like the abandoned funeral home ,creepy, spooking, and a horror wow ,go guys ,these will be my horror movies .
Those booths at the beginning are for safe deposit box access. Not for meetings! lol 😁
That had to be an awesome explore, the details in that building were incredible!
It really is! Thanks for checking out the video Kevin.

What a place. Are you sure there is nothing of value left there? Have you been through every of them boxes?
those little rooms are not to where you can talk to your Banker. That is where you take your deposit boxes I do believe
Yes, thats correct Bob. Thanks for watching!
Would love to see it turned into a restaurant. Do you know what they renovated it into?
Just found your channel 👍and subbed up.
We really appreciate the support Craig! Thanks for watching subscribing. We drop new videos every Sunday at 2pm.

That makes more sense, thanks for that info Vernon!
Is there ever anything in the boxes?
Do you have pictures of outside of abandoned bank 🏦?
THAT VAULT...WOW
Such a good one!

Where is this?
Was this one that Josh went in few yrs back? He went in one that was under water and they were paddling in it...just curious...
Thats a different one. I don't believe anyone has done a video here, or we haven't seen it yet at least.
@@abandonedcentral gotcha

Im sure the bank was completely cleaned out when it was closed. Then it sat abandoned for several years and thats when the basement flooded.
I disagree with what you said about those rooms that had the numbers on them. There's no way customers met with bank Personnel to discuss accounts. Those rooms were used for privacy when customers remove their safe-deposit boxes from the main vault

Wonder if it was ever robbed
That’s all freemasons work. That was a very gigantic vault, Thank you for your Vlog
We've explored a bunch of different abandoned banks but I believe this is the biggest vault I've ever seen. Thanks for watching Faith!
This the same bank where the basement was flooded ?
Nope this is a completely different bank.
@@abandonedcentral ah yes .. saw it now
Nice explore once again 👊
In Hartford CT they turned an unused bank vault into a restaurant. Wonder if it's still open.
Other vault door is acces to do maintenance
They didn't skip all that place now did they man just think of the money that went into that place to build it to shudder it I mean how does a bank go broke unless they just make bad loans
