I'm having the same issues on my 03 road king I've checked my plugs but it's def bad fuel I added startron fuel additive and had my mechanic check my thundermax tuner to adjust the fuel to air ratio u need to pay attention to that especially after winter if ur not driving the bike for a while especially in boston wer I live we need to shut riding down for a few months when it's snowing and if u have a tuner pay attention to it
Shaolin Monk , just had some news all the sensors we're good and Working. They had a look at the fuel pipe from the fuel pump to the fuel filter that was split and the bracket that holds the fuel pump was broken.hope this helps should bget the bike back Thursday I'll keep you updated.
Hi Mark, my bike (fatboy 2011) makes the same noise. You said it was caused by the fuelhose and sensorbracket of the fuelpump. Can you tell me wat specific part I need to replace? Thanks in advance. Grzt Steven
Steven van Gelder ,Hi I replaced the hose, and put a new fuel pump in as there cheep as chips. That was it job done.be careful removing the sensor unit and please drain the tank before hand.
Steven van Gelder ,no problam if I can help in anyway let me know.Fancy HD putting the fuel pump in the tank lol.You can also tell by turning the bike on but don't start it,undo the gas cap first, put you ear on the hole , switch the start to on if you hear bubbles then the fuel pipe has a hole or split.

Shaolin Monk I did the Lee Rigby run all fine ,on the way home I had to go through a tunnel mile long, just got home.
Shaolin Monk I've got the bike back,it was the sensor bracket on the fuel pump and the fuel pipe was split.
Do you know what the part number was for the sensor bracket on the fuel pump?
Tmap sensor or plug
Bro check your stator and RR unit using multimeter...start with stator check if fine then see ur RR unit
Does a carb bike have a fuel pump?
Yes , otherwise it would not run lol.
Most Harley Davidson have it located in the tank on the left side ,as if you were sitting on the bike.
@@fishaman1968shadow thanks I thought it was gravity that took place on carb bikes lol
No prob, good luck and ride safe
Did you find the problem having same issue
Yes buddy, fuel pipe and filter , Wich is located in the tank.
