I promised a video on FORGIVENESS I misspoke when I said I’d done a video here about forgiveness. But if you don’t mind watching videos from 7 years ago, I do have 3 excellent biblical teaching videos I did on forgiveness on my other channel. The first one is here - Session 1 ruclips.net/video/vjWdpcHiM78/видео.html the next one is here - Session 2 ruclips.net/video/1rsT3kKcK14/видео.html and the final one is here - Session 3 ruclips.net/video/0Jy9_FaooOY/видео.html The video quality is horrible. James didn’t record these; I did them on my cell phone. But the teaching is really good and I think it could really benefit if you’re “stuck” in the process of forgiving someone.
😣 Ouch, I am not aging well, I loved my job, having family at home, and a familiar community! All that has changed and I have been resisting and unhappy. I am the only one who can change and own the situation so it’s time to do some “growing up” again! I took notes on your guidelines and now it’s time for me to make positive changes every day. Thanks for the wake-up call!
Yes, go for it! My life looks and feels very different these days, too. But I know that it’s up to me to make the necessary efforts for better quality of life. I’m battling arthritis, have fewer friends than before and am still adjusting to living in a new place. But I’m trying these tips to keep me going and thriving. It’s definitely more challenging as we get older. 💕
Kay, You are a blessing to us all! I love how you blend fashion tips, practical life advice and spiritual encouragement together. I'm now 70, but I am committed to growing and learning for the rest of my life. Oh, and getting dressed for each day too. ❤
This is great, thank you!! I am 68 yrs old and just recently got myself a mini-schnauzer. She gets me outdoors and I get exercise, fresh air and meet others out with their dogs. It has helped me so much with having a better attitude and gets my thoughts going in a better direction.
Thank you Kay! I loved this video. Your tips are so useful to all of us, especially Christian women. Your tips about bitterness really hit home. I don’t think I have bitterness in my heart, but your comments reminded me to keep that in check on a daily basis. Thanks again and God bless you.
I’ll be 44 soon but I to have a hard time adjusting to and accepting the inevitable changing seasons of my life. I appreciate you sharing your wisdom Kay and I am thankful for this community. By the way, that cranberry color looks stunning on you!
All these tips are excellent Kay, I can say for a fact getting away from my church and gathering with other women for bible studies, and breakfasts etc has had a negative effect on me as far as comfort and joy I feel inside. I hope one day to possibly return😊
Thanks for the bonus video! It was very encouraging. All the tips are ones that we women need to do. The one I have been working on more and more since I retired is adding more friends that have a positive attitude. A few times during my retirement years, I got too self absorbed because my network of friends from work and etc. change due to my retirement life. I found that I had to step out of my comfort zone {which was very hard for me after 40 years in the business world}, and connect to groups that had interests that were very different than mine. Before I heard your suggestion about "listening and learning," I actually was doing this and found several ladies that are truly positive. Just because a person retires, she needs to keep moving and working on other areas of her life. It takes little or no money to have an abundant life after retirement. I found that I can really live a calm and peaceful life without having a 9 to 5 job. Every day is mine to enjoy, if I seek God's word as my guide. Thanks for sharing!
I like this kind of video. What we ARE is so important, just as important as the clothes we wear. Would it be possible to integrate some wisdoms at the end of your videos maybe once a week? I would watch just for that. Being gracious and kind are important accessories to each of us.
One of the things I have recently done for myself is to have micro blading powder brows! My sparse blonde grey brows were affecting myself confidence and the results have been fantastic
Dear Kay - thank you for this lovely video. I always love your videos, and I’ve gotten many good fashion and style tips from you. I love that you stepped beyond that for this video, and you have many wonderful wonderful suggestions. “Develop Listen and Learn Relationships” - this is brilliant! It’s absolutely fantastic that you’re encouraging women (or anyone, really) to get out and LISTEN. We can all do more of that. And if we did, we would be making this a better country!! Also I especially loved your suggestion to get out and volunteer in the community. As an active community volunteer myself, I love the act of volunteering and I know from experience that we receive so much more than we give! I love your channel, and I especially love your grounding in the Bible and in your efforts to help us to live our best lives. Keep it up! We are blessed to have you.
Love your videos. You are indeed light in the world- a cheerful one! I need cheerfulness when it comes to aging because aging is not always easy. Your positive comments about it are appreciated.
I worked as a pharmacy tech years ago. And the young pharmacist I worked with said that any woman over 40 should take calcium. And I have been taking ever since. I do everything you said we should do. I don’t have a Pap smear. I had a complete hysterectomy. So I have nothing left. I also had some colon problems. So I do have a colonoscopy every five years. I moved to the country three years ago. I don’t really want to be around people. I had that enough where I lived before and my job. So it’s just my husband and I here. I do have my daughter and grandkids close by. I have always been a positive person. I don’t worry about things anymore. I let my husband do that. I spend time outside everyday. I have three dogs who go out constantly. Then I feed the cats who live on our land. Plus, I give them treats a few hours later. I love playing with the kittens. They are supposed to be feral cats. But not so much anymore. I do get dressed everyday. I wouldn’t go outside my door without being dressed. It may not be anything I would wear out in public. But people can’t really see me in my yard.
Wonderful tips Thankyou Kay how we look after our health and being the best version of ourselves is so important both in our inner and outer beauty that presents to others. I know I always feel a better version of myself when I take some effort to dress for my day ahead. Your grace and kindness just emanates from you and you truly are an inspiration to us all. It is so important to be of service to others as well. I know when my husband and I serve even in small ways at our church it is so rewarding. So look forward to all your videos.😊
Hi Kay, thank you for these tips. I needed this refresher. All of your tips were great especially the forgiveness factor. I definitely need to work on being more positive and hopeful. I have been making it a point to get dressed for my day even though most of the time I stay home a lot. But I am slowly changing that. I joined a community Bible study. I also think having girlfriends also helps one age gracefully.
Aww Kay, you exude such good things that go beyond the great content of your videos, and that make me feel better when I finish watching ❤ Also thanks for the excellent tips! 🥰
“Develop Listen and Learn Relationships” reminds me of the types of friends and relationships you wrote about in “When You Find Another”. This tip is a bit harder as it takes the cooperation of other people. I keep working on it regardless. A heart of gratitude has helped my attitude. Giving myself grace when I look in the mirror helps too.😌
Really enjoyed this video. Great truths. So Important about moving every day and lifting some weights to keep our muscles strong. Health is physical and mental, love that you included social/community ideas as well. We are never too old to improve.
You touched on a very positive aspect of growing older, get together with others and do Bible study. So much to learn from The Bible. Thank you for showing that!!
thank you - I am a new subscriber I just found you today - I LOVED your presentation - and the fact that your are faith filled, postive, a women after my own heart - I need this extra push for gracefully aging - I've been doing ok up to now - but time for a "reset" God Bless you and your suggestions
Loved your bonus video, and that color on you is fabulous. I have been practising most of your tips for years (I'm 78) even though I am still working at my business. Transitioning to retirement feels very difficult, and I still have not found the appropriate volunteer cause. I walk 2 miles every day, did Pilates the past 8 years until I needed to stop, and now do stretching. I'm very fortunate to have good skin, but my biggest make-up problem was eyebrows. One of my dear friends who is my age told me about micro blading/nanoblading, which is a permanent solution to fading eyebrows. It requires an expert technician, which she told me about, so I had mine done and I can't tell you how much it helps when I look in the mirror. I had been drawing my eyebrows in (even though I'm a brunette) my entire life until I had this done.
Yes, I’ve definitely considered micro blading but I haven’t heard about a reputable technician in my area to put myself under the blade with. Maybe one of these days. 😉
My daughter convinced me to try microblading after she had her own very blond brows beautifully done. I was terrified and thought I looked like Eddie Munster after my own procedure. But the color settles in and fades a bit after the first two weeks and now they look great. I’ve since had my 18 month touch up and they still look great. I’m glad I had it done as my sparse brows required daily makeup. Look for a practitioner with lots of before and after photos!
I know what you mean, Sharon! It can be a shock when you go from no eyebrows to actual eyebrows. I started with medium brown, which was great for about a year but after seeing what I looked like in photos I went back for a "tune up" and had her do dark brown. That is perfect for me. It really does depend on a good technician!@@Beachy609
These are wonderful tips, Kay. When I was teaching online during Covid, I had anxiety about how I was going to embrace technology. I used a lot of RUclips videos that got me through this challenging time. I also had a great group of third graders who helped me along the way. I need to work on forming new friendships. I just joined a community center where my grandsons will be taking swim lessons, but they also have a plethora of classes for adults. I am considering learning how to play Mahjongg. I will also be starting to volunteer at my grandson's elementary school. Working out with weights has always been a part of my life, especially that I do have osteoporosis. It's also good for mental well-being. Thanks Kay.
Loved all your recommendations. I would add to learn a new skill. Challenge yourself! I’m doing pretty well meeting your list but happy with a couple of new goals. Love your blog. Alice
I have been weight training since I was fifteen. I have a home gym, and I weight train every other day. Stretching is also important as we age, maintaining flexibility. That color looks amazing on you Kay! Thank you 🙏 ❤
Another great video. Thanks Kay! Had to order the red drawstring hoodie you’re wearing. I’d never order it based on the way the it’s shown by the vendor, but it looks so great on you that I thought I might love it too! Thanks for all you do. 😊
Excellent suggestions for women of all ages. I go to silver sneakers three mornings a week for an hour, but do no like to walk. The idea of going into the sun twice a day to help our body clock is good.
Great and encouraging message that goes far beyond beauty advice! Another superb mix of fashion/beauty and lifestyle advice. Yes INNER Beauty is more important and lasting. As we use our full potential we can definitely enfluence many others and they will do the same to us. You give good and sound advice, for body, soul and spirit!
I recently added some small weight arm exercises . Been at it about three weeks . My underarm , armpit sagging is better when wearing tops. I don’t expect much improvement in appearance at my age 65
A good friend refused her doctor’s advice to take the easy, painless screening for osteoporosis as “no one in her family ever had it” …guess whose life has been permanently altered for the worse by severe Osteoporosis. While I appreciate the point you make about not carrying around hate, regret, etc. I obtained peace by deciding there are some things only God can forgive.❤
I really like the brow pomade you recommended, so I purchased some in the taupe color. The formulation and coverage is fantastic. However taupe shade seems so much darker that it appeared in your video, more of dark grey in reality. Are you sure you aren’t using the blonde shade, instead of taupe?
These were wonderful tips. Thank you. You look especially beautiful-that red looks so good on you. Your makeup looks good and your eyebrows and your hair is so cute. It would be nice if you would show how you do your hair. Maybe you have. If so could you give me a link for your hair and your eyebrows. Does the eyebrows makeup work in someone who is missing hair? I always struggle with my sparse blond brows. Have a great weekend.
Hi Kay! I appreciate your encouraging words every week! Thank you! I cannot find your talk on forgiveness. Please advise. Thank you for all you do! Blessings to you and your family!
I misspoke when I said I’d done a video here about forgiveness. I am having a very difficult time. A trip to Portugal and Spain and I broke my foot. Great big boot! I can’t afford to change my wardrobe. 74 years old. What’s is your best advise? I’m kind of thinking just go with my plan with the added boot.
Kay, love wonderful reminders and tips for aging gracefully! The sweater you have on is beautiful, would you have a more budget friendly option? Thank you
weight lifting is vital to longevity. it helps in fall prevention as well. and it helps with insulin and blood sugar control. And the pap smear isn't necessary for women who have had a hysterectomy.
Just thought I would tell you that their are alot of current studies that says are bodies can not absorb Calcium in pill form so it better getting it from food.
According to my healthcare provider it’s best to take it with a meal and to spread doses out through the day and it needs to include vitamin K as well. But I do try to eat as much calcium as I can in my diet, too. I just know I’m not getting enough through food and beverage sources alone.
Two endocrinologists told me that calcium can pose some risks to the kidneys and heart. They were more in favor of getting calcium from food vs. supplements. I now drink kefir every day.
Kay, I see there are two models of the WII. The one you used is $349 and the other is $198. I’d love to try it, but even with 15% discount on😢 the product you used is $295.00. That is a lot of money for my budget. It would help if the company offered a payment plan of $100/month.
Yes, I think her tips are incredible. Most of us need to find similar items on sale at Kohls - especially during this current economy. But she is an influencer par excellence.
@@flowerpower3618 Thank you for the tip. I’ll look for something similar at Kohl’s. Perhaps it will be available when the Christmas gifts come into the store. I have a products I bought in FL 18 months ago, but it’s larger and more cumbersome.
I’m so sorry. I forgot to list it but I’ve added it now. Thanks for the heads up. Here’s the link and it’s currently marked down. rstyle.me/+mkOT06cVc3ThKjDhGssNWQ You’ll need a brush somewhat like this one rstyle.me/+9-sw7niWhqJTke1HKATunw
Get an active dog and you’ll move every day whether you want to or not. 😂. Seriously, my Australian cattle dog needs to be walked every day or she misbehaves. So even on days when I might rather curl up on the sofa and watch TV, I have to get up and out for my dog’s sake.

I will probably do microblading soon. I have no brows and penciling them in daily gets old.
I did the same and also eyeliner. It makes a huge difference. The eyeliner was really painful, though.

Oh, I’m so glad you think so. I’m sure that’s very generous. But thank you 🙏

I agree with your son. Google is the best teacher. That's how I am learning everyday. RUclips is even better because you are able to see it done
I agree! I've learned so many things on RUclips and Google
Great video & suggestions, Kay! My mom's and grandmother's cure for most ailments was "fresh air & sunshine". I think they were probably right!
Yes, I love that!💕
Ok you convinced me to start wearing make up! You look so much alive and fresh in your after. Plus the color you are wearing is so flattering!
Thank you for another wonderful video, Kay! That colour of top and lipstick looks amazing on you. ❤
What a treat to check You Tube and find a bonus video from you tonight! And what a great one it is! At 72 I need all the help I can get! Ha!

This was so very good - and encouraging! A sincere ‘Thank You’!!
Loving your hairstyle 😊
A good friend refused her doctor’s advice to take the easy, painless screening for osteoporosis as “no one in her family ever had it” …guess whose life has been permanently altered for the worse by severe Osteoporosis. While I appreciate the point you make about not carrying around hate, regret, etc. I obtained peace by deciding there are some things only God can forgive.❤
I recently had my bone density test. I do it about every few years.
Absolutely a wonderful video Kay! Thank you, I needed this today.
I really like the brow pomade you recommended, so I purchased some in the taupe color. The formulation and coverage is fantastic. However taupe shade seems so much darker that it appeared in your video, more of dark grey in reality. Are you sure you aren’t using the blonde shade, instead of taupe?
I love the red top you are wearing in this video. Can you share where you purchased the top? Thank you.😊
These were wonderful tips.
Thank you Kay! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hi Kay! I appreciate your encouraging words every week! Thank you! I cannot find your talk on forgiveness. Please advise. Thank you for all you do! Blessings to you and your family!
I misspoke when I said I’d done a video here about forgiveness. But if you don’t mind watching videos from 7 years ago, I do have 3 excellent biblical teaching videos I did on forgiveness on my other channel. The first one is here - Session 1
ruclips.net/video/vjWdpcHiM78/видео.html the next one is here - Session 2
ruclips.net/video/1rsT3kKcK14/видео.html and the final one is here - Session 3
ruclips.net/video/0Jy9_FaooOY/видео.html The video quality is horrible. James didn’t record these; I did them on my cell phone. But the teaching is really good and I think it could really benefit if you’re “stuck” in the process of forgiving someone.
I am having a very difficult time. A trip to Portugal and Spain and I broke my foot. Great big boot! I can’t afford to change my wardrobe. 74 years old. What’s is your best advise? I’m kind of thinking just go with my plan with the added boot.
Useful key, thank you.
So glad you enjoyed it. 😊
Kay, love wonderful reminders and tips for aging gracefully! The sweater you have on is beautiful, would you have a more budget friendly option? Thank you
Thanks! You could check out this one rstyle.me/+EVdiVF8BOKqxRueQ_r_wFg and this one rstyle.me/+RzLhecDRfvXx9VTFFh6VnA but I haven't tried out either.
Great video! Much needed!
Thank you for this video Kay, so very helpful.
Glad you found it helpful. Thanks for letting me know. 😊
love your hair!
Thank you. I’m enjoying it this way. 😊
Great tips and valuable advice 😊
Wonderful. Thanks for watching.
Awesome video❤
I love your top. Do you a link for it? The color is great. Great color choice for you as well.
The link is in the "See More" at the top.
Sure. Everything is always linked below the video in the description box. But here it is for convenience: rstyle.me/+1QlATskBzAEorIGs_s0ujw
Great video. Nice and practical tips. TFS. That color is stunning on you.
Thank you. I really love the color, too. I’ve added several pieces in this color to my fall/winter wardrobe. ❤️
Wow Kay-great advice! Thank you
Great to hear. Thanks so much for sharing. 😊
Thank you 🤗👍🤩
Thanks so much for this!
You bet! 🙌🏻
weight lifting is vital to longevity. it helps in fall prevention as well. and it helps with insulin and blood sugar control.
Yes, kidney stone patients take note!
These are great tips! Thank you!
You’re so welcome. Thank you for watching. 💕
Am grateful🎉
Blessings! 🥰
Two endocrinologists told me that calcium can pose some risks to the kidneys and heart. They were more in favor of getting calcium from food vs. supplements. I now drink kefir every day.
What brand is your lipstick? The link just goes to Macy’s. Great video, thanks!
Sorry about that. It’s a Dior Addict lipstick.
Kay, I see there are two models of the WII. The one you used is $349 and the other is $198. I’d love to try it, but even with 15% discount on😢 the product you used is $295.00. That is a lot of money for my budget. It would help if the company offered a payment plan of $100/month.
It definitely is an investment. Thanks so much for watching. 😊
Hello, I could not find the eyebrow product link…could you tell me the name again? Thanks so much
I’m so sorry.
Good morning, sweetheart Kay, and God bless you , for this valuable and informative video. 😘👍🙏❤️🌟✨🌻🌞💫✝️
Thanks so much, Rachel. 💕🌿
And I love that beautiful face of yours in RED.
yes, especially in that particular color shade (cranberry?). I am not a fan of red on me, but this color is beautiful.
Get an active dog and you’ll move every day whether you want to or not. 😂. Seriously, my Australian cattle dog needs to be walked every day or she misbehaves. So even on days when I might rather curl up on the sofa and watch TV, I have to get up and out for my dog’s sake.
A couple of times you looked startled, like you got a big zap!
Way too much advertising 👎🏻👎🏻
Just what I needed to hear today! 💕
I agree and want more!
Great video!! Thank you Kay!🫶✨🙏
❤ thank you Kay!
