Is it better to just loot everything off a body? I tend to just manually pick items.
@@erddtraphaell6116 I do the same, but I never play Iron Man. Enemies can sneak up on you and one shot you while you're looting. He probably wants to spend as little time looting as possible in the open, then sort out the useful items later in a safe place. Edit: At 45 minutes he did it in the middle of the Red Forest. 😂
@@erddtraphaell6116 there is now an autolooter mod in gamma, you can configure it pretty much exacly to what you need. personally, i disable all auto disassembly since it will burn through my multitool. after hitting left alt only armor or guns will be left in the body and maybe other stuff you didn't want to auto loot, you can usually more quickly decide wether to take the heavy weapon or armor. if you have the carry capacity to spare you will most of the time take every thing and sort it later unless you where in a big fight... thats when autolooter helps quickly sort through each body to lessen the danger of getting shot/mauled while sorting through the inventory.

IDK if its fixed already or not, but try not to get your artefacts to 100% keep them in 99%. When you re equip/transfer 100% artefacts they some times loose their efficiency down to +-15% as if you just picked them up in anomaly. Happened to me once in iron man with flash artefact and really pissed me off

The only time I consider debugging a melter and some more artifacts in to be justified.
Wait wait wait, is that why sometimes I'll loot a Monolit that somehow has a 100% artifact and it'll randomly turn into some low % when I transfer it over? Huh I thought it was just a UI bug, that sucks.
@@varyagace Yes, except in this case it's not a bug, it's working as intended. You are meant to pick ¬15% artefacts and repair them in this mod pack, not just find 100% artefacts on monoliths. It's only not fair when game recognizes your repaired artefact as a one you just picked from anomaly and reduces it's effectives back to 15% deleting your progress
@@varyagace Nah, that's (semi) intended functionality. Part of GAMMA's gameplay loop is repairing and upgrading everything you use. This applies to all the non-perk artifacts too. To my understanding it's a limitation of the X-Ray engine that makes them appear to be 100% condition at the start, only updating to their actual (~20-25%) condition after you interact with them [ie, loot them or something else from the inventory you found them in]

One tip for you, you are pretty well into mid-game now you can slowly get to north so my advice is to ALWAYS have morphine and food with spamina regen active, ALWAYS, you never know when chimera sneaks up on you or you get ambushed by monolith ... Sin now has RPGs and many more things you know how the zone is, morphine is cheap and easy to make, same for food. I always take morphine and clean boar chop as soon as im leaving base, many times i got jumped and survived on 5%HP, one time i didnt even see white in my health bar i must have been on like 0,5% HP xD so bunch of times i would have lost the invictus run but i didnt coze i had my morphine, when you get north, in outskirts i got jumped by like 5-6 chimeras at once a few times (be VERY careful of hospital)

17:23 a tip about shooting long range, switching from auto to 1 bullet shotting will help a ton, no random 2-3 bullet recoil nonsense, at least for me, i love using it long range, it improves shooting a lot, you should try it, but then don't forget to switch it to auto again you can very easy die in close combat thinking you have auto on

The part with the chimeras attacking you gave me flashbacks to when i was in outskirts, north of the laundromat, trying to do a standard hunt mission for the loners, and i ran into a group of 4-5 chimeras (one dark chimera) right in front of the building in the north, i try killing them and then a bloody party of controllers start ganking me from the left and kill me by cutsceneing me one after the other. Since then, i dont do any side activities in outskirts ( unless green stash). That place can go to hell in a handbasket.
Not even goin to red forest and u see more chimeras then i see all my way to outskirts 😂

I still have ptsd from the time I was in the red forest and was jump by a peusdogiant began fighting it then a Chimera kindly joined which was just amazing as the presidents ground slam was slowing me down and thennnnnnn a controller came along. Never have I ran so hard and ate so much psy block.
I escaped and just accepted the ridiculous price of making a heavy armour kit with advanced tools and avoided the red forest like the plague.
Yup, pretty standard Red Forest experience 😂
depends what you consider a ridiculous price, if you do the math on survival progression it costs at most 86K if you straight up buy the necessary stuff for the medium kits and the heavy kit, i usually spend about half that with all the stuff gotten from stashes, so around 40-50k max. if you found some fountain artefacts it's even less. at the time you start to worry about heavy kits you usually have decent gear and can safely make that much in a day or less.
@@michelklepsattel5861That 86k could've been spent on something else, especially since artifacts could make an armor set like wastelander have similar stats to a heavy one.
I popped my head in the gate one time to see what all the noise and flashes were about, saw three ecologists fighting about seven monoliths with a pseudogiant in the middle attacking everyone and three chimeras jumping into the fray. While I was admiring the scene I changed the ammo on my sniper rifle and a chimera jumped out of a bush in front of me and basically one shotted me. Spilled my energy drink all over the desk and banged me knee on the side of the chair.

If your inventory doesnt scroll properly, try tapping esc twice really fast. This usually fixes it. You might have to do it a couple of times.

why would upgrading your backpack have anything to do with mutant parts. Keeping that 1kg hunter backpack in inventory does not weight you down too much and still having the perk.
Honestly when it comes to belt stuff the only artifact I use constantly is the 'Volat Emerald' since it gives the best resistances with the lowest drawbacks. For stats I use mutant pelts since they give good benefits without the drawbacks of artifacts. And my prefered choice of non-powered armor is the Mercenary 'ACE' Scientific suit.

Yeah, I don't think they should be in the Army Warehouses, only farther up North. The Red Forest was full of them even in the earlier versions of Anomaly.
Holy shit, I forgot how useful are artifacts in this game. With my heavy gear it's going to be crazy if I hunt more of them

controversial opinion but i feel like crafting artifacts and stuff like that takes the magic of finding and exploring out of the zone.
Yes, Artifacts are called as such, because they are rare and expensive, and kind of magical. Having "charges" takes away this otherworldly nature of theirs.

I think that prioritizing the volat emerald first is perfect, because it allows you to just stroll through any anomaly absolutely carefree
As someone who started artifacts when i got to zaton i highly recommend hubting from day one because the earlier you get your full empty, compass, heart of the oasis, and volt emerald youll be very well off esspecially once you pair that with a kevlar for the 5th slot its gg cnpp
Are the contents of a stash determined as soon as coordinates are received, or when entering the zone where the said stash has been activated?
I know that entering a zone sets everything and reloading the auto-save will give to you the same instance generated from entering the zone.
I also know that reloading a save prior to entering a zone, and then entering the zone fresh, will give to you a somewhat-to-mosly new instance.
So I wonder if reloading a save prior to entering Radar (for example) will re-roll the contents of the special stash for possible new chance at expert tools.

With a sample size of just one stash in Radar, but with multiple reloads, the answer is no. The tools were Expert though, so holy crap, lucky.

I think I'm OCD and I hate seeing a big backpack IN my backpack, sitting there with its big dumb face in the middle of all my items, god I hate it so much I don't know why.

Beacuse of you ı updated 0.9.1 today invictus challange have become more easy bunch of things have changed now ı can see granades ai aim nerfed (still last member of party sucks) there is a lot of good things but ı cant upgrade gear or wepons from traders anymore that sucks maybe ı tried more than 100 times as bandit ı dont why but ı am just playing this game as bandit faction my boys guarding their base love to see
39:35 I have an advice for HIDE, the spawned mutants with hide are fixed. That is everytime you kill the particular mutant which had hide, you can reload the game and again kill that same mutant and it will give hide everytime. You can exploit this because everytime the condition of hide is random. So you can reload and kill the mutant many times until you get good condition one. It should work in Invictus.
I mean hide is rare, I was having a regular run and I got mission to collect 2 burer hide in rookie village day 1. I completed all 3 lost to zone quests, operation afterglow and operation monolith retribution, I collected and repaired most guns. And still I only got 1 burer hide after all this.

40:12 I absolutely hate this exact part of the map. The collision meshes around the rock force you to fight through the tree/bush.

Greatly appreciate your usage of artifacts - too many people forget about them and just strategize with weapons and armour but they are such a main part of what makes The Zone what it is that I'd bet most stalkers would use them in the lore.

I remember spending hours spamming save/load to get green stash from Freedomers in Army Warehouse just to get those Expert tools... was worth it? Maybe.
How is he allied with Freedom as Duty?
I don't know how it works in GAMMA, but in basic Anomaly u can buy neutrality status for some time with mercs(and not only woth them) and they gives better missions and most of theis stashes in Limansk and Red Forest. Or it was me so lucky to get them in past. And I think it was mistake to mess with mercs. Their stuff in sells way better ther u get from Freemens.
Neutrality is lost if you come too close after a few warnings. How was it possible to get missions from a hostile faction?

I might be lame but getting the tools is so annoying. I just debug myself all of them at the start of a playthrough. If I have the upgrade materials we shouldnt have to wait to upgrade imo
I think it's a good way to slow down progression, and lead the player from the easier maps to the more difficult ones, without them skipping too many progression stages. Making exoskeleton resources very rare is also a very-very good step in the right direction.
Finally, RedForest. Love this place so much and at all costs trying to camp there the sooner the better even with shit gear.

I found an ACE merc suit and an Hybrid, but the ACE has better stats, so why do you think the hybrid is the best ? it upgrades better ? I just go heavy kits and I'm going to radar next, so I need to decide which to repair
The ACE is amazing, can't really go wrong with it! I like the hybrid because its much, much easier to find and its lower stats against anomalies don't really matter for the radar run. But if you got your hands on the ACE definitely use it!

Chimeras always give me such a hard time i was sweating watching them get that close to you
I think i took down a chimera faster than you with a sawn off toz and buckshot and i was using the same ballistics mod as gamma does. Also the earlier episode you pinned a chimera down quite easily with another gun. So what was different here ? It seemed like you hit it 90% of the time.
There's different types of chimeras with the same model, if you didn't spawn it yourself with the debug menu you can't know which one it is (weak, normal or strong) and their health pool widely differs.
The game also has A-life, you can't know if the chimera you meet had a fight just before and has been weakened by it (happened to me many times)
And of course shooting the head, body, legs etc.. type of ballistics.
You can't draw any conclusions from single, random game encounters.
@@CheekiBreekiTv today i was traveling with 2 rich companions in red forest and 2 chimeras jumped us. The first one died to a single buckshot and the other one... well we spammed it for like 2 seconds. Both looked different. 15 meters in front of them i found a corpse of a exoskeleton stalker. Wild.

Why don't you go to jupiter/zaton and grind tasks there for expert tools. I always do that before doing bs.
I don't know if you know this but if I'm not mistaking if you have lead containers in your inventory while accessing crafting table for artifact you should be protected from radiation or you should lose radiation as quickly as you gain it. Hope this helps 😅
Nah when you start having A LOT of artefacts you don't lose radiation fast enough, its not even close ahahh
Wait so 40-55 gps is horrible? I have a pc that should be able to run it perfectly but that’s basically what I get. What’s your setup that that’s bad?
Its not horrible it's still playable, its just that most areas I'm at 70fps (i play on a 60hz monitor so I just cap my fps at 70) so when it drops 15-20fps lower you can really feel the game becoming "sluggish" and it definitely affects the gameplay
I'm on a laptop tho and I could lower some settings for better perf so I can't complain
No matter how often I play STALKER no matter what version... I am never ready for Red Forest no matter how geared I am so in my opinion no no-one is ever ready for Red Forest... Only way to make it better is to make Red Forest a huge map... because we are all masochists already... and as to the Black Chimera to start the video yeah that's one way of doing it...
Maybe it's just my preference but that SR-3 Vikhr you threw away seems like a much much better 9x39 rifle than the AS Val you kept.
Its the Val tactical (it doesn't say it in the description but you can see it with the "skin" of the weapon). Better damage and red dot at the price of a smaller mag than the Vikhr. All other stats & attachments available are pretty much the same.
If it was the regular Val then sure, but I'll pick the tac version over the Vikhr every time!
Do you have vaulting disabled?
