I just realized how similar Gordon freeman and Heisenberg are, they’re both: Highly trained scientists, have iconic beards and glasses, can handle themselves in a fight, are quiet, assisted by a younger non scientist who would later get their own spin off game/movie (Jesse/alyx), are “employed” by an always professional and serious business man with a shallow affect, trim haircut and name beginning with g (Gus/g-man), and are both criminals who don’t believe they’ve done anything wrong. It also helps that Heisenberg’s voice perfectly matches Gordon.

I don't know why, but Gordon making g-man call him by something other than his title must feel so liberating. It's the slightest bit of a powerplay, but goddamn he earned it with all the torture he's been through. Now my mind's trying to come up with a scenario that let up to this moment.

I feel like Walter's traversal from a good man in a bad situation into becoming a criminal kingpin, and Gordon going from a good man in a bad situation into a space-time hero (if you can call it that) seem almost identical in it's tragedy, and I love the idea of using his voice on gordon

Bryan Cranston is a great actor as well as a great voice actor. He went from doing bit roles early in his career, to voicing anime characters for Animaze, to being Hal in Malcolm in the Middle and eventually becoming Walter White in Breaking Bad.
You either made the background wind noise of the original audio fit perfectly with the edited G-man’s part, or you placed extra background noise on top of all the audio to blur out the change from original to edit and back. Either way it worked flawlessly enough, that it’s impossible to notice. Good job.
Heisenberg doesn't need to hear this, he's a highly trained professional.
