Hi Emily! Thank you for your awesome insights about the BA exam! Do you think that someone could pass the SF BA exam without having passed the SF Admin or SF Associate exams? Given that they complete the SF Trail/mix for the BA certification?
Thanks for the great content! I'm doing Salesforce Ben questions at the moment....do you feel the questions there and on those sites linked reflect what you get in the exam, or are they completely different (as in how worded/detail required etc)?
Percy, did you take the exam? If so, how did you do? I just took it and my answer is a firm NO. The sample questions from SFBen, Get Force Certified, and SAASGuru don't resemble the actual exam at all. I practiced until I consistently scored between 95 and 100, so I felt extremely prepared. However, the actual exam left me feeling overwhelmed. I scored 70.5, 72 is needed to pass. The study guides pose straightforward questions, such as "what does the A in RACI represent?" In contrast, the real exam is mostly scenario-based and quite challenging without prior SF experience, which I lack. For instance, one question was about ""Universal Containers (UC) implemented knowledge base so customers can now easily look up answers to questions and create their own cases. Management wants to know how this is impacting their business results, what would you do?"" The answer options were all article recommendations, which was confusing. I took a shot and chose the Einstein article. Honestly, most of my answers were guesses. The actual exam is filled with complex questions, a stark contrast to the straightforward ones in the mock exams.
How long would you suggest to put in for preparation for this test? I'm a recent Business Analytics masters graduate with 1 year of Data Analyst experience. I can spend upto 3 hours per day for the prep. Your response would really help me decide on planning the test date. Thanks in advance!

Hi Emily, what made you decide to take the business analyst exam versus the salesforce administrator exam?
Hi Anisha! I have both the administrator and business analyst certifications!
