It blows my mind how well-written the entire album’s breakdowns are.
Daniel Varney yeah the guitars in this album are the next level of tasty riffage all of us have been waiting for....for years... this is exactly what the metal scene needed. Also the drums give perfect transitions throughout the album which allows the guitars to flow seamlessly. The only other band who is pushing boundaries in this genre of metal is Polaris, who I would say tied with currents for 2017 album of the year
If you haven't heard them check out ERRA. They have a lot of next level musicality and lyrics. I'm not a fan of their newer stuff since they lost their previous vocalist though.
Chris Wiseman is a genius. His songwriting in Shadow of Intent is equally as mind blowing.

6 years later, turns out you were correct. On most top 10 metalcore lists, over a million monthlys on Spotify, my favourite band- Currents is djent-infused melodic metalcore gods.

I saw this while scrolling through my feed, I've been looking for some new bands to listen to, and I am really into this. Its such a surprise to randomly click on a video and actually enjoy it. I will 100% be checking out the rest of their music.

I wish I wasn't 4 years late to this album but after seeing you guys live this past year I had to check out more than just your latest album. I have to say this entire album is just a masterpiece, not a single song on it that I don't love, this one especially! You guys always manage to kill it!

I keep saying it Sharptone are the best record label out there because it seriously takes bands that were pretty good before and some that were meh and makes them grow so amazing and so good.

This band still has a lot of room to grow. Listening to this album as a whole, songs can blend together. But they have some seriously solid tracks and definetely are making some good stuff! Hope to see more from them soon, they've definetely already improved from Life // Lost (even though Anxiety is still a banger)

I already enjoyed the song as it were, but man this videography is amazing too! I love all the interesting angles and close-ups, seeing the movements at different speeds than natural speed. Very intriguing to watch.

Definitely one of the top bands of 2017 mate. And one of the few bands that are capable of sounding even better live. Their show is insane. If you ever get a chance to see them, don't skip it. You wont be sorry.

I love the way the cleans were handled on this album, less of the typical whiny pop metalcore style and more mature sounding so they don't detract from the heaviness of the overall sound which had previously been my only complaint about the band, that I wasn't fond of the cleans. The fixed that for sure, they not only avoid diluting the Thall, they actually enhance the overall sound now. That the riffage is absolutely killer as usual goes without saying.
