+angela rowe awesome! Dave is so proud of him. Every time he gets a chance he let's me know when new videos and music is posted. Told him he's gotta get me tickets when they come to town :P
Guys... I have found my favorite band ever so far. The message of the band is carrying over from song to song; break the mold, find your place. Do your best to progress. Challenge the rules. Things like that. I needed this.
Every now and then, every generation, you get a band or two that just embodies a genre so perfectly. They don't really innovate, but they breathe life into their genre because they just straight up kick ass. Wage War is it man.
Dude . . . I literally JUST clicjed on this video while checking out another band (Silent Planet, and they seem really good), and after watching this video . . . this has to be the 4th or 5th most epic band I found on accident!
WOO!! I've known these guys since they were called Empires and it's awesome to see them finally getting the recognition they deserve. Proud of all you guys!!
Timeless classic here! Wage War Rocks - this song is as good today as it was when it came out. Long way from "The Garage", guys. Keep strong - you're awesome!
I'm really excited to see where these guys are headed. I've loved the songs they've put out! They may not reinvent the genre but they aren't trying to. Some bands do generic really well
+Brett Schall There absolutely is such a thing as "generic". It's actually really easy to know which one are especially when you listen to A LOT of it (like meh, I heard this before, same vibe, just a different band). These guys definitely are generic, but just like @Cole Scho said, we don't need everybody to REINVENT everything, the guys are doing a great job. Looking forward to that album.
+Luffy Joke Central Definitely get what you're saying. I just hate using the word generic. But maybe it's because I listen to more just Hard Rock in general...Any time you add intricate breakdowns and leads like these guys do, mixed with scream and clean parts...is definitely a lot less generic than most music that exists
@@wesker877 News flash - it's possible for the director to get those details right. Not saying it's necessary because 90%+ of people don't notice such things, though.
The metalcore scene has been so stagnant lately. And these guys are a breath of fresh air. Great lyrical content and a great style, I'll be following Wage War in whatever they do.
I would like to to thank RUclips recommended for introducing me to this band I love how the entire song isn’t just screaming and you can still hear the lyrics
+Tristan Kaseman A generic breakdown sold you? You need to raise your expectations. These guys are almost a carbon copy of Throwdown, but with some clean vocals thrown in for no reason.
I saw wage war for the fist time when they opened for august burns red last Christmas, and it was honestly one hell of a show. Then went to go on and see them at this years warped tour. And now this coming year I will hopefully be seeing them again. one hell of a group these guys are

Saw these guys with August burns red a couple weeks ago in philly and they came out of no where and ridiculously tear it up on stage they have been my favorite band since
This band and song gets me so much. Right now I'm in a situation where the people I love are trying to force me to settle into things that no matter what cannot make me feel better. Long story short, forced to move to a new school where I know no one and there's nothing there to give me a sense of fulfillment and I'm being forced to like it and settle in with it.
in the past couple of months, I've discovered two really good Christian bands; this band and ABR. I always thought christian bands sucked, but man now I think a little differently.
They are christian but that particular song goes out to people that use God to put down other people. They are not really a Christian band, but they are not talking bad on God, just the people that use religion to hurt others.
I just had auto-play going on youtube, and these guys just came up after I had listened to For Today. I am so happy now. If I have one problem, it is that the cleans sound a lot like I See Stars.
The fact they're a Christian band makes them just that much better. Before I get barraged by people saying they aren't technically a 'Christian' band, you're right. But from what I can tell, they at least have biblical values in their music. The song 'Basic Hate' as about Westbrook baptist church and how they distort the gospel and they have the lyrics 'Don't use my fathers name' meaning the lead singer (or whoever wrote the song) is referring to Jesus as his father. I know not everyone that listens to them is a Christian-- and that's okay, but I think it's awesome that they put that kind of stuff in their lyrics. Also... His screams are wicked.
+DJ Kree honestly when metalcore bands look like regular dudes it's much more appealing to watch than the bands that are still scenecore bullshit, but thankfully that's finally dying out.
+Josh Matotek I love In Hearts Wake and I have just found these guys and I thoroughly enjoy everything I have heard. But I don't at all see how you compare them to In Hearts Wake, at all. Not looking for an argument haha, just saying.
+Nate Franco NOT LOOKING FOR AN ARGUMENT?!?!?!?!?!? NOT LOOKING FOR AN ARGUMENT?!?!?!?!??!?!? HOW THE HELL NOT WHEN YOU MAKE A BOLD STATEMENT LIKE YOURS AND EXPECT EVERYONE TO JUST SIT THERE AND TAKE IT LIKE IF .....just kidding.
It's funny how my grandmother thinks this is evil music, yet she never gives it a chance, she never listens to the lyrics that are in this song "you can't even understand what their saying" let me read the lyrics to you then, "No thanks it's probably messed up crap"...
This is literally everyone in the population but us. We are like the conspiracy theorists of the music world, people wont listen to us even if the facts are right in front of them.
Saw these guys at House of Blues in New Orleans this month. They totally fucking killed it. Circle Pits, crowd surfing, pits all on the first band of the night. Couldn't help myself had to go talk to them at the merch stand and buy the CD. Super nice guys and incredible musicians.
This video came up as an ad while I was looking for another song and it said for fans of ADTR, I mean I had to click it, i'm not disappointed either. Seriously into this.
This album is absolutely phenomenal. The drum tracks for this song get me ridiculously hyped! And those clean vocals are just slick as butter. Wage War is definitely on my fave list for up and coming artists!
+J.R. Carpenter hmm i think it might just sum up the depth of the band, probly needs more man bun and a beard..oh there is one....duh of course there is
Sorry this doesn't do much for me. I'm a big metalcore fan and it just doesn't grab me. I don't necessarily want it to be more unique i just want it to be better. They do have potential so i will keep an eye open for further releases.
I've met them. the lead guitarist is Christian but not sure about the others. I love that there's finally a really good band out there that makes good music without trashing it with filthy lyrics.
Also people need to realize that not every band is the same. Wage War, Elitist, and Like Moths To Flames all sound similar. But they all have their own signature touch that makes them unique. Saw them at Warped Tour in New Orleans last year, they were great! The highlight for me along with Sum 41! I was sad to see they weren't on it again this year.
I used songs from Wage War to produce a '' metalcore songs in real life '' video on my channel, final result is bad ass af, check that out if you want my friends!
1 million views! Thank you!! -WW
Wage War Your Welcome ;)
This us all who thanks you because all your music is just amazing !

+Wage War While you're at it, why don't you stop by New Orleans? We need some good bands to play here ;-;
Hey guys tis is a great song i wish i could go see you in Albany in hoo on stage with you guys and sing and scream along.
+Wage War thanks, im already downloaded your album for free :D
You guys sound like old Of Mice & Men.. which is a good thing 👌
+sam shillitto Please .. Austin Carlile has the most monotonous screams ever. This guy has range. Om&m is out of their prime.
It took me twenty one years to realize: Hope Love and Faith are how we survive
"Grace sustains me. Pain has ending. There's still hope."
This gave me chills...Nice work guys.
My UPS guy got me hooked on this band. No regrets.
lead singers dad works for UPS..lol
+angela rowe I know. he's my UPS guy xD Dave.
+angela rowe my original post posted 3 times lol so I know what you mean
small world..lol..I married him :)
+angela rowe awesome! Dave is so proud of him. Every time he gets a chance he let's me know when new videos and music is posted. Told him he's gotta get me tickets when they come to town :P
I desperately needed to hear these words today. “Grace sustains me, pain has ending.” Always shakes me to the core.
The scream at 3:54 might be the best scream I've ever heard in my life. Gives me goosebumps every time I hear it.
Saaaaaame
oh my god yes
Garret Rapps in Demon Teeth was better.
+jamie bradfield I don't know about BETTER, but Demon Teeth is fucking GREAT. And Garret did amazingly...
It's not the best I've heard it's pretty good
Guys... I have found my favorite band ever so far. The message of the band is carrying over from song to song; break the mold, find your place. Do your best to progress. Challenge the rules. Things like that.
I needed this.
The build-up and breakdown from 1:16 to 2:04 gives me goosebumps every time. Holy shit. What an amazing band.
It took me 47 years to realise I love this music, and you guys are awesome!
Welcome with open arms 👨👩👦👦 your family now
There's... still... uurrGGHHHH-HOOOOPE!!
Repeat button: 3:51

Dude . . . I literally JUST clicjed on this video while checking out another band (Silent Planet, and they seem really good), and after watching this video . . . this has to be the 4th or 5th most epic band I found on accident!
*accidentally 'clicked'* Sorry for that typo. 😁
Dude, silent planet are fucking awesome.
+Eduardo Lopez I haven't fully checked them out yet, but I agree with you! 😉
I saw Silent Planet live back in October. Pretty good. Also met the vocalist ayy
***** Thanks, bud! :-D
I'll definitely check them out tonight! Breakdowns are my buddy! ;-)
The build up to 3:55….still NO song I’ve ever heard in 40 years has hit this HARD. 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Chelsea grin recreant
WOO!! I've known these guys since they were called Empires and it's awesome to see them finally getting the recognition they deserve. Proud of all you guys!!
+JoshyTheSinger nobody cares
Fuck off man. He's showing his support, leave him alone
+CSquared092 why even comment?
Where do I listen to their previous songs as Empires?
How to tell somebody's the screamer @ Fearless Records : hair slicked over, darker long sleeved button down shirt, slight facial hair
+James Martin No hate btw, love Fearless Records. Just something I've noticed XD
+James Martin Unless you are Jared Warth of Blessthefall.
+TodaysVocalCovers wut. Jared Wrath isnt the frontman of Blessthefall
Adyn Lord He's the screamed vocalist.
He primarily does all the heavier vocals.
Warth btw*
you could also be deduction figure out that the lead vocalist usually has a mic...and no guitar, drums, or bass in hand.
I've come to grips with the fact that I'll never be able to change my own past, but I found strength with divine perspective.
Someone recommended me this band. Saying"if you like ffak, you'll love wage war". AND OMG I LOVE THIS. ESPECIALLY THE LYRICS.
2 for 2 so far Wage War....Keep it up. I want more
Bars
They have a third single! You just have to look for it. It's pretty good
+Nick Luciano link please!
It's a Live Video called "Wage War - Westboro" check it!
I was thinking The Aftermath but I guess that's diff

These guys definitely are generic, but just like @Cole Scho said, we don't need everybody to REINVENT everything, the guys are doing a great job. Looking forward to that album.
+Cole Scho Whenever people use that word "generic" I want to scream, But these guys. They remind me alot of Fit For A King but less binary.
+Cole Scho I totally know what you mean, rather than reinvent the genre they just raise the bar and up the quality.

3:55 gave me goosebumps epic song
Multiple breakdowns in one song? I like that.
Fit For A King- Tower Of Pain. You're welcome.
2:07 - 2:15 Why do I hear hi hats but see the drummer hitting a crash cymbal...? Lololol
I was about to comment that he was hitting the wrong cymbal. xD
I notice things like this all too much as a drummer haha
Because its a music video, had you ever shot one youd understand
@@wesker877 News flash - it's possible for the director to get those details right. Not saying it's necessary because 90%+ of people don't notice such things, though.
Chinese cymbals sounds like hihat opened
NEVER let that singer go. That scream is one of the best I've ever heard.
One of my favorite songs of all time. The kind you feel in your soul.
WHY DID NOBODY TOLD ME ABOUT THEM BEFORE?! today's the best day of my life OMG 😍❤
I found them after a year of you 🍻
Omg they’re all so dreamy😍😍😍❤️❤️❤️
Yeah dude they are sick
The metalcore scene has been so stagnant lately. And these guys are a breath of fresh air. Great lyrical content and a great style, I'll be following Wage War in whatever they do.
I want to thank Jarrod Alonge for introducing me to this band, I'm already in love. I'm having a bad few days and this is exactly what I needed.
I love how Jeremy McKinnon is Co-Producing this album. You can really hear the similarities between these two awesome bands.
I cant wait A Day to Remember is by far my favorite group of this genre!
Well I mean, they are from Ocala too.
I would like to to thank RUclips recommended for introducing me to this band
I love how the entire song isn’t just screaming and you can still hear the lyrics
FUCKING FINALLY after Alive i was so pumped for this band's music
This break down just melts your face
1:18 sold me
+Tristan Kaseman Agreed
+Tristan Kaseman Same here, lol
+Tristan Kaseman A generic breakdown sold you? You need to raise your expectations. These guys are almost a carbon copy of Throwdown, but with some clean vocals thrown in for no reason.
Lol I think you need to lower your expectations. It's music bro, they're not gonna be something they're not. Don't like it? Don't listen to it.

Don't think, do what you're told
No!
We've lost our way
Abandoned foundations on which we were made
We're all dying of the same disease
I looked for the answer and the problem was me
All along we've been searching for a place to call our home
You and I will never learn if we try to do this on our own
Underneath it all we are all the same (All the same)
Never knowing where to go, lost in our way
Can we ever escape?
Can we decide our fate?
Let go!
I'm more than familiar with feeling like I've failed to meet everyone's expectations
When every definition of success becomes different, it's hard to really feel like you're making a difference
They say that there's no hope
Don't think, do what you're told
Dare to be different, to break the mold
Live your life with intention
Go forth and be bold
All along we've been searching for a place to call our home
You and I will never learn if we try to do this on our own
Why do we try to overcomplicate the things that used to be so simple?
So step back, you'll be able to see that your purpose in life is not just to be
Underneath it all we are all the same (All the same)
Never knowing where to go, lost in our way
Can we ever escape?
Can we decide our fate?
Underneath it all we are all the same (All the same)

I've only listened to a couple of their songs so far, but their lyrics are so powerful. Damn. And the emotion in this song gives me chills.
Hadn't heard of these guys until i saw them support The Amity Affliction last week, they're so fucking good
Saw these guys with August burns red a couple weeks ago in philly and they came out of no where and ridiculously tear it up on stage they have been my favorite band since
Not gonna lie.. I've probably listened to this song 100 times today already.
This band and song gets me so much. Right now I'm in a situation where the people I love are trying to force me to settle into things that no matter what cannot make me feel better. Long story short, forced to move to a new school where I know no one and there's nothing there to give me a sense of fulfillment and I'm being forced to like it and settle in with it.
same here. the date you posted your comment was when I moved from LA California all the way to salt lake city utah.
Really cool, guys!
This scream at: 3:54 u know this man put his soul into that
brah these guys are good omfg
met these guys in Pawtucket rhode island when they played with For Today, coolest guys around and they go beast mode when playing live.
brutal !!!!!!!!!!
The clean vocals got me for sure. I'm looking forward to seeing these dudes at Warped tour!
They were fantastic at Warped
The drop at 1:20 🔥🔥
Im glad these guys made Warped Tour! Amazing talent cant wait to see you in Bonner Springs!!!!!
Everything about this band / song/ video is amazing. besides one thing..... the man bun
I was thinking the same thing.
I think he pulls it off honestly haha
main3v3nt83 idk lol in my town nearly every guy has a man bun and they just look awful.
+josh Halgren haha
He's since lost the man bun thankfully 🤘🏻
I really like the mix of scream and clean vocals in the song
1:32 that riff omg

Nicholas Jones you should check out wolves at the gate too bruh!
Thanks for the recommendation dude! The band's music is pretty interesting.
oh man. you're completely missing out on fit for a king. give them a listen :)
honestly, anyone on SolidState Records will give your ears a good listen.
Memphis may fire.
love the cleans
As a atheist I usually avoid Christian's bands but these guys are pretty good can't really relate to the whole faith thing but still good tracks
jason freeman you don't need to buy into the delusion to relate to metalcore. The topics of anger and frustration are relatable for everyone.
Ulfric Stormcloak I usually just stick to music o can relate to in multiple ways but there's always exceptions
they're definitely nit a christian band. listen to the lyrics in basic hate and you'll see
They are christian but that particular song goes out to people that use God to put down other people. They are not really a Christian band, but they are not talking bad on God, just the people that use religion to hurt others.
Faith doesnt have to mean god, fucking amateur. Lol

Greatest findings of 2019 so far, Wage War, Divisions and Jinjer. Absolutely great bands.
It's funny how my grandmother thinks this is evil music, yet she never gives it a chance, she never listens to the lyrics that are in this song "you can't even understand what their saying" let me read the lyrics to you then, "No thanks it's probably messed up crap"...
DrSpreadEm TheDoctorIsIn Just show her Infant Annihilator. That'll teach her that it could be much much worse.
This is literally everyone in the population but us. We are like the conspiracy theorists of the music world, people wont listen to us even if the facts are right in front of them.

I don't know about you, but I'm feeling 22.
"66samus like this comment"
Ugh don't bring that gayness into this cool song😂
The clean singer gives me a Fit For A King vibe.
These guys might rival cte, saw both live at warped a few weeks ago and honestly these guys were a little better live.
They have the same attitude towards fans that cte had
Except these guys have decent music and cte not so much. At least their new album anyway
+Lmaoism good point
This video came up as an ad while I was looking for another song and it said for fans of ADTR, I mean I had to click it, i'm not disappointed either. Seriously into this.
:D
Pretty damn great!
This album is absolutely phenomenal. The drum tracks for this song get me ridiculously hyped! And those clean vocals are just slick as butter. Wage War is definitely on my fave list for up and coming artists!
2024 anyone??
Here
Just saw these guys live in Chicago, hooked already.
Everything about this band kicks ass except for that fucking manbun. Jesus
+J.R. Carpenter hmm i think it might just sum up the depth of the band, probly needs more man bun and a beard..oh there is one....duh of course there is
+J.R. Carpenter Good news, he cut it a while back haha
+Jesse Kahl Did he also manly up his voice? Shit was good until he opened his mouth
Eerily similar to you with the typing.
I kinda like it. no homo.
turning 45 next Sunday and I'm so glad my son's friend told me about wage war!!!! goosebumps all the way to the top of my head!
That man bun actually looks really good on him.
L0XX i usually cant stand man buns but his looks ok
This shit hits home pretty hard. I think anyone who's parents have divorced or separated can attest to the fact that this video nails it. Good job WW.
Sorry this doesn't do much for me. I'm a big metalcore fan and it just doesn't grab me. I don't necessarily want it to be more unique i just want it to be better. They do have potential so i will keep an eye open for further releases.
Have you heard their first single, Alive? I honestly think that one is better. The cleans are extremely well placed. Plus, no man-bun
Nick Luciano The no man-bun part convinced me to listen to it and it actually sounds a lot better than this one.
+Giruga x Hakusho If how a band looks like its a reason to listen to it you'd better listen to 1D.
Pol Xufré It was just a joke. I judged them for how it sounds and this is as mediocre as it gets.
I agree actually. not horrible but just meh..
"you can play metal on Fenders" this is why I live this band. proving people wrong
More Seth next time pls
I just love it.. When it comes the breakdown I started smiling and don't know why
These guys a christian band?
I don't think so.
But they have supported heartsupport
they are christians, yes
@Trevor Laporte
yes they are!!
I've met them. the lead guitarist is Christian but not sure about the others. I love that there's finally a really good band out there that makes good music without trashing it with filthy lyrics.
Just bought the album. You guys are F*n AMAZING! Wanna see live now!
Whats 9+10?
+Dismal626 21 ?
+Motha Of Gods You stupid.
+Nick Murray No i'm naht
+Nick Murray You a genius
+Fedora Cat I appreciate that
These guys are amazing, not only the instrumentals but the lyrics are so good
I must be missing something bc I don't think it's all that amazing. It's good but nothing new just standard metalcore
+Andres Nunez Finally someone else who realizes not every band needs to sounds different! If I like the sound then that's all I need.
Also people need to realize that not every band is the same. Wage War, Elitist, and Like Moths To Flames all sound similar. But they all have their own signature touch that makes them unique. Metalcore should sound like metalcore. It's the slight uniqueness that people who don't listen to this music all the time don't notice that makes a band amazing.
+Andres Exactly, thats how the majority of people are.
From my home town seen them live awhile back been a fan since they were Empires...
More cowbell next time please.
Get on your knees please
just saw these guys in concert last night in austin, Texas and they were amazing!!!!!!
This band existed 10 years ago and was called slipknot.
These lyrics are powerful!! There is always hope, can't take that away from anyone!
Worst thing about this is the man bun
He would look cute without it
The worst thing is that I have to wait till November.
+Jake Enderby Type in the search 3XN9o hahaha :D
+Jake Enderby Check out my channel for music!
