This song changed my life. I used to be heavily addicted to opiates. Without getting too deep into it, every word of this song speaks deeply to me and gave me the hope and encouragement I lacked. “But I’m bound to break free. Pride running through my veins, my chains lay flat around me...” Makes me weep… I’m 7 months sober now after 3 years of slowly killing my self and I’m so happy to be alive and to be able to listen to this song and have it touch my heart so immensely every single time I hear it. Being that it's the final track to the album, it's absolutely perfect. It reaches the pinnacle of what the rest of the album does best and gives it an incredible send-off.
