    Dewayne: The information you provide is excellent. I have found that by going to the VA Doctors with your medical complaints and getting a diagnosis in your VA file and submitting a SINGLE-ISSUE claim on-line (Keep it simple stupid) KISS that they are processed quickly. The raters have quotas each month and will select easy single-issue claims that are filed FULLY DEVELOPED to meet their needs and your claim moves quickly.

    • @DewayneKimble
      @DewayneKimble  2 года назад +1

      You are correct, I was on a quota when I rated. I remember when I went weeks and didn't get any easy claims to work and some of the FDC claims could be some of the hardest to rate.

    Dewayne just wanted to let you know for a future vid that vets can find copy of their c&p exam results on tricareonline portal under the documents section with a ds login. Was just looking for something else to claim and stumbled upon it. Hope this helps, keep giving em hell !!

      Only if they have a DS login correct? They can find the 3rd party VA contract exams there from VES, LHI and QTC? Thanks

      @@DewayneKimble the options are Ds login or cac but everyone should already have a ds login because it’s the same credentials as Va.gov and ebenefits

    Who can tell me what particular rating agent has my claim assigned to them at any given time. The 800 # claims they don’t know, or who would know. They did offer me another higher up # but they claim the same. I find that hard to believe they don’t even have an employee # or name associated with the claim. Can it be that unorganized? Or is it not protocol to share that info? Rating VA employee stats seems necessary for continued employment. I remembered you shared some of that on a earlier video.

    • @SNOWMAN1997
      @SNOWMAN1997 2 года назад +2

      I dont think they would disclose that information for security reasons for the VA rater. if they deny a certain person claim that person might end up at the rater house looking for answers.

    Why would va send my claim to a md for presumptive chronic sinuses (which I have provided diagnosis for) they deferred the claim

    • @DewayneKimble
      @DewayneKimble  2 года назад +2

      I don't know, ensure that the diagnosis is on the list. If so, you might want to inform the examiner that it is presumptive.

    I have a question. I originally filed my claim in 2019 for a hernia that's been a 0 rating since 1980 and ptsd and depression. They continued the hernia at 0%, denied me for ptsd and gave me a 50% for depression. I told my VSO I wanted to appeal all of them mainly the depression because I knew I should've been rated higher. She put appeal in for the hernia and ptsd but put my depression in as a increase which took away any back pay I was due. I was granted 100% p&t after my c&p exam and the effective date was based upon the filing of the increase. Is there anything I can do to to get my effective date changed? I'm beyond the year for appeal of the original decision.

    • @DewayneKimble
      @DewayneKimble  2 года назад +2

      Mental is mental, they rate it as the same. The evidence would have to be reviewed to determine the effective date.

    Hey Dewayne heres a link to the Va Form 20 - 10207 : www.vba.va.gov/pubs/forms/VBA-20-10207-ARE.pdf. Its a form for priority processing if you are experiencing extreme financial hardship or certain illness or if you are 85 and older. I was able to use it because last month I received a letter from a collection agency for an old account that just went into judgement so hopefully it can expedite my claim lol. I would encourage everyone who see this comment to look at that form before submitting their claim they may be able to use it for a quicker decision.

      Sorry for the late response. The comment went to the "held for review" box. Thanks for sharing and I will review. I did a previous video on the VA's criteria for priority processing but not the form.
