Looking back, it's absurd how many times Koji came in 2nd Place at Worlds...1999, 2000, 2001, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007. Not to mention 3rd place in 2002. He is one of the best but I feel bad he didn't take home the top prize ever...
i think he should have beaten shinji. His tricks were pretty damn good, and he combined a lot of looping and string tricks as well. Shinji basically did a lot of tricks from last year with a few new ones...I dunno tho. Good luck next year!
It looks like he's still doing that AP 2006 freestyle that got him first place there, but it's still a damn good one, I wonder if Koji will get Second for the 4th time in a row next year, or if he'll win the 2A division at worlds 2008
He really was too. I really wish he would've beat him. Seems like he had a more variety of tricks than shenji. But shenji was on a whole nother planet. I rewatch these videos all the time lol
@@bassman3212 Yeah,Shinji is on a whole new level. If its spinners from his time,it would be Koji Yokoyama who would be a close 2nd. But he doesn't compete anymore
@@Shoelaces77 Yeah true. I wonder if Shinji still competed now or if he ever comes back, do you think Shu Takada could beat him in a world competition? I know Shu is pretty amazing also. I know it's been about 5 years since they were in world's together.
This freestyle is the definition of performance
Evan Nagao ^^^
This is truly the pinnacle of 2A performance. Fun to watch, daring, and high energy.
Still the best I've seen so far!
横山光士の集大成。
斎藤慎司に最も迫った世界大会だと思う。
2016, yet still the best freestyle ever ! Thumb up Koji!!
favorite 2a performance
koji is awesome, my favorite 2a player
It is an incredible freestyle. I admire you.
my favorite 2a preformance
I say he is better than shinji
Common w take Evan

does anyone know the whereabouts of koji? did he retire already? i miss his freestyle!
Ah, my bad. I'm not too sure about the WYYC pre-2005, course, I got into Yoyoing at that time anyways.
Thanks for the heads up.
me too like koji's style~
that tangler in the beggining was insane
Whoa, awesome!
top contender for Shinji Saito

@@bassman3212 It would be interesting to see. But I think Shinji got the edge, but Shu also got some power moves.
best
Hey, its a performance....He's their to entertain the crowd...
the "Arabian" outfit this time is a nice touch
outkast - bombs over baghdad
amazing!but still cant beat SHINJI SAITO!!
You still here
One night in Arabia
This guy is a total Raver
his hair looks funny but this was unbelievably entertaining
慎ニとの差は、両手で止める回数の多さなんだよなぁ。
片手で止めてももう片手でワインダー(神業)してれば減点対象にならないんだけどね。
それにしても、この曲は「ナンナンダッコレ-」って空耳が面白い。
