That's so nice to have in this heat. My trailer hardly keeps up in 110 where I am. I would love to have this set up.
Didn't know these existed will have to put it on the wish list, thanks! Under 100F sounds incredible in the summer here in Vegas we are lucky if we can dip below 100F at night we've had maybe 3 nights that have since summer started.

I have a mini split I love it

I have recently started having an issue with mine which is the exact same unit you have, some days it just does not accept solar throughout the whole day but I found a workaround if I turn off the unit for about 5 to 10 minutes and then start it back up it kicks in the solar. Definitely not ideal but if you start running into a similar situation it seems to be a decent workaround for now. Glad yours is working good!

I recently installed the 12k hybrid in my 20ft toy hauler RV. The A/C unit is overshooting the set temp by approximately 7 degrees (cooler). I thought I had a bad thermostat/ board but after emailing with tech support at S2 I started to wonder if its more related to the size of the RV. I started to ask you if you are experiencing the same thing and realized you just posted this video and address that. This 12k unit is far greater than the 13.5k RV rooftop unit I removed. Thanks for the info, keep up the good work, my wife and I love the channel.

You'll have longer solar hours (sunshine) in the summer to keep cool. With much less solar hours for heat in the winter since the days are shorter. Is wood your main heating source?

You know I see people in Arizona and mainly on Bob well’s channel but they have ac units but rarely do you see them on ! Now i noticed this one girl on his channel who has a small mini split and she swears she runs it off of solar and she says it works !? I wonder how she can do this ? Very interesting though your video too and hers ! If hers really works that’s awesome! Idk why they don’t work gets me ? I have no idea how and why ? Would be nice to keep things running and working all the time !
@@tonyastokley5165 It's pretty simple actually. Any AC system can run on solar if you have enough panels, batteries, a big enough charge controller/inverter, and get plenty of sunlight. It's just a matter of sizing your solar setup to handle the load of your AC system. It's not cheap but It's also not complicated.
