Hey Turnstile fans out there...I'm an old geezer and I just wanna tell ya'll that this band is marvelous! Love the message that they are sending out. Acceptance, inclusion, brother/sisterhood all sewn together with music. Great band, highly recommended!
Took my boy to his first hardcore show recently and it was turnstile. Wasn’t sure if he was feeling it until about halfway through I saw him diving lol
For my generation it was Kid Dynamite. We took a friend who had just showed mild interest before to see Kid Dynamite and Grey Area at this tiny club in Portsmouth, NH and it was similar. Stage diving, head walking, massive sing along. Hooked em. Turnstile is great. Love seeing the spirit survive. For me, first show was in 1991 age 11. Agnostic Front, Sick of It All, Burn, Wrecking Crew. Tail end of the early days. It was similar to this...just less lighting and bigger dudes. Scared me to death. Still love it to this day. 37, wife, mom.
Im 40 years old and i believe turnstile is the new Minor threat of this generation out of all the hardcore bands out today these guys deliver, such a unique style towards punk hardcore that other bands dont have, love these guys!
Bands like Turnstile are stimulating higher consciousness via making really sick records and owning the hell out of it live. Seeing the togetherness of this crowd participation is the ultimate oneness, the integration of a multiverse of opposites, the philosophy of hardcore music itself and how it’s purest forms are subconscious resonance in a room. Hardcore music like Turnstile will get the kids to sing along, ignore the state’s bullshit, and that kind of splendid resonance is going to one of the things necessary to save the world from splitting into opposing pathogenic halves, I think. Can’t stop listening to Time and Space LP. Believe in yourself, you can do anything you commit your mind to.
BRING BACK CLOSED PITS.. this looks 10000000x more fun to be in and more enjoyable to watch than seeing a big giant horseshoe with 4 people swinging their arms like drunk ninjas.
Bmore here! I'm 48 and I had no clue that this scene existed until 4 or 5 months ago. I'm not really into hardcore ( that probably explains why )but this band is amazing and hella reppin Baltimore!! I've been mostly into Gojira, Avatar ( just as diverse btw) lately. But I'm glad I found this band!!
RetroHabit82 - At 51 years of age, hardcore still lives on within the older generation, too. Saw Minor Threat in 1982 (or thereabouts), and saw Turnstile 3 weeks ago in Dallas. Still diving, slamming & having fun, too! Turnstile is my current favorite band.
@@crooked-halo My husband was tempted to do a dive during a Terror set. He opted out as to not mortify our daughter. You are brave. I think he shoulda done it. My brother in law was on the floor laying down some old school wind mills. Also teaching the youngin's how to crowd kill without actually hurting anyone.
Also, there is totally two stepping, slam dancing, AND pogo'ing in the crowd. Have seen a few headwalkers, plenty of diving...sing a longs, finger pointing. Shit's on point. Rest assured.
I always go so jealous as a kid growing up in the 90s seeing Bad Brains footage from their shows in the 80's and thought how awful it was to never have been able to go to one of their shows.. Turnstile I feel captures EXACTLY how it would have been!
Love the chick that just dances around a bit then does a dive at around 30 minutes 😂😂 so fun. This band is awesome and so much fun. Will be around a long time and loved very much. So awesome.
it's either real thing or canned heat I can't tell which one you're talking about because canned heat comes on after the intro. They're both dope ass songs love these dudes so much I caught their show in seattle it was the dopest show I've seen yet

@@justinorel6592 Theres some gay and trans people in hardcore now. Women too. Holy moly!

I could run my sreet on the energy made by this turnstile gig ... ha,,ha love it
there aint a damn person standing still or holding up a phone. right on.
Ikr. The crowd has a lot of aggression to release. No time to record a show just to get likes on YT, like the majority.

cara...que banda fodassa!!!!!
I love the energy in this video. Always makes me smile when I watch the whole thing.
Such a badass band. Great recording.
Saw them with ETID a few months ago. I can't remember having a better time at a concert in my life.
Great crowd btw
Moshing in the back and suicide stage diving at the front lol

Where can I find shows like these I want to find a place were the crowd is always moving and you can stage dive
