Nice build, Becca. I'm watching with my wife, and she asked, as someone with construction experience, if I'd let you know the table has a far less chance of breaking in the same way if you turn it 90 degrees. She believes the weak point was in the way the grain runs. Beautiful table, too, Scott...how nice! Thanks for sharing, Becca!

Love watching your videos. I have a suggestion on your table, you should mount it to the bracket with the grain of the wood going across the bracket. When the weight hits outside the bracket it puts pressure on the grain and that's when it breaks. Hope this helps keep in doing you!
ugh that’s so smart. now I have a ton of holes in it so i’m wondering if it’s worth remounting it..
If the holes are only on the bottom you can fill them with wood putty and change it up and be good as new 😀

This is the most practical build iv nearly ever seen, like myself the bed is on the ground 'like no need to make it up high n make your self feel like your nearly squished into the celling n then the side benches 'where i have just the one, n a super big bed is all u need. ps. i just cant do dog heir haha i would be sneezing 24/7 trust me lol but ya super cool.
Sup Becca, looks great, and is perfect because it's yours and you did it, all that matters 👍, I've seen bike online, my friend 74 yrs old in NH bought one, loves it, Lila did great fishing too lol, I've always loved ford's, preventative maintenance helps, but easy repairs and parts interchangeable.. every make has lemons lol. Loved the update, congrats, gonna be great adventures 👊, daisy looking around wagging tail 🤣😂, still remembers photoshoot 🤷, depending on amount of power? I'll see if daughter wants vevor stainless steel griddle in box, hasn't used yet, was going to start a food truck🙄, text me will be free, it's bulky, more commercial, but with power station? I'll send link if interested ... Tyvm tc 🎣

@@beccayaseen yes, I'm not very mobile anymore, have to be my daughter and her girlfriend, I really thought sky recovered, it's so hard, must be on mind constantly, daisy on meds for hips, and unsure about eyes at times, they deserve it👊, as shy would say now ok aye lol

You should be proud of yourself. You turned that truck bed into a home away from home. And even when you do get a new rig, you'll always remember this one. Have you ever considered the campers that slide into the bed of your existing pickup? They have a bed, kitchen bathroom, heat and AC and campground hookups. Just an idea.
And if course you'll need a talking plastic fish plaque.
I have! they are too heavy for my f 150 payload. but don’t worry, the next camper (it’s being built) is going to be a massive upgrade

Why not use a folding camp saw to cut off your extra wood in the bed

I actually love Ford. I've had several Ford vehicles in my day. One of my kids has followed in my love of Ford and also currently drives a Ford. Yes I know found on road dead.... but I still loved each one I had. I don't currently have a Ford, but it's not really by choice. 😊
You've done a great job on your truck. Flaws just make it that much better because you DID do it all yourself which is awesome!
my wholeeee family has fords and they seem to always have issues, which made me not a very big fan of the small cars they make. but maybe we just got some bad apples

My Surly non-motorized fatbike seems kinda wimpy riding uphill right now. Now you just gotta get a cart for it to haul everything around. Way better than strapping everything to the bike. I also have a canoe cart

Like seeing the full-on setup for your rig. I've always liked the looks of it, rustic, and it's little crooks give it that much loved ❤ BECCA touch.
Oh and I have the same seat cushion. That cool gel is great in these summer days, once the AC cools it down. Loved it when I was in Florida.

i had a good laugh when you complained about the long walk to the fishin hole. i thought to myself "she needs one of those cool e-bikes i saw on ayo's channel the other day" fraction of a second later, lila rides by on the exact same one.

My mom had a pillow for driving out stick shift van because she was only 4-10 so couldn't push the clutch in without it. The other van was an automatic so she usually drove.that. My dad was 6-2.
Hi Becca. I was wondering when you'd find time to fix your table. 😊. Glad it worked out for you. To clarify, I am a Rhode Island ' er. Live probably about 35 or so min from you. I know we planned on doing a fishing and or camping collab, but this summer's weather is making it tough to plan. Plus the HHR is out of commission right now. Oil leak plus something in the front end shaking real bad when braking. Talk to you soon ...

You should put the grain of the wood turned to go against the hardware meaning turn the table top 1/4 turn

Jus get a Sawzall for it with a wood blade. And since u got carpet now use heavy duty velcro for curtains. Been watching mav too and ford's been changing my mind. His truck goes all ovver!

ooops!!! shoot.. well, I messed up and ended up using too long of screws and went through the roof of the truck cap.. so i’d say i’m not expert on the curtains but they are insanely difficult to put together lol

You should add a couple blocks to your new circle table on both sides of the henge. The blocks will support the table when folded down so you don't break it again.

bike sounds great, needs fenders, why get all gross when fenders will stop so much junk dumping on you? What a great video, thank you so much. Your tour was great! I did build out my truck but only used it once because it is too hot here in New Mexico. I love the table idea, gonna do it. I know you don't have to worry as much how would I keep me and my dog cool in 100 degree weather in the back of the truck?
I had a champion 3100 dual fuel generator that ran a portable stand up ac. It is superrrrr quietttttt then most on the market Never had to deal with dogs, only other option would be a inverter to run a fan. I don't reccomend a fan tho for a dog. California is hot lol in summer as well as new mexico. Goodluck ❤

Becca, I love you, but I have to break it to you. If you need a seat cushion to see over the steering wheel of your truck, you ARE short! I have an F-150, too, and my mom is 5' 2" and might need a similar cushion to see over the steering wheel in my truck! Own your vertical challenged-ness, you're still super cool!

BUT I’m Portuguese, and Portuguese women are always small. i’m 5’4 and I’m the TALLEST girl in my family by a landslide 🤣🤣 my mom, sister, and grandma hardly reach over 5 feet. Please remount that table with the grain 90 degrees from how it is now. That will save your table from breaking again.
