I would recommend installing a Bedrug, it will cover the truck bed and also insulate it helping to keep you and Sky warmer on cold nights.

@@beccayaseen check out wide roll carpet at a big hardware store (you know the brands), and just have 8' wide cut from a 12 or 15' room carpet, Only have to pay the square foot cost. You can use some carpet thread to sew and edge all around it, if wanted.
I’d call the manufacturer. You have a rarity F150 with an 8 foot bed. The ones for a F250 with 8 foot bed may fit just fine.

Becca, look at some motion lights to put around the truck and maybe even a dash cam type of camera that will show front back and sides of your truck for protection while out camping.
Temu has them less than everywhere! A roll of reflective good idea on floor cover with rug/s. Safe travels!

You need a diesel heater sponsor! That's way to nice a set up to not have warm dry heat. Especially for the conditions you camp in. Sky needs some stairs. Do like a stairs build on one side, use the space under the stairs as storage drawers. Check out tiny homes. Get a step/stairs to mount to your tailgate for both of you. Makes life much easier.

I didn't know that myself lol.
I have cats so I stuff my pillow in the shams every morning and at night I pull them out to have a nice fur/dust free pillow to sleep on lol. No matter how much I vacuum/dust fur still gets everywhere! I’ve been sleeping better since I started doing this. I also sometimes spray lavender on before I stuff em in the shams.
Try attaching little magnets to the curtain and then some to the camper door. Velcro would work as well. I’m glad that you are enjoying your new camper. It looks really cool.

I got new black rims and tires a few weeks ago. They definitely changed the way my truck looks.

Hey Becca, covering the wheel wells with some type of insulation will help keep the cold from wicking in from the metal. Raising the floor would give you storage, help you get into the bed and help insulate=the truck bed.. Eight to twelve inch lift would work well for storage. Excellent content!
You should make wooden boxes that go over the fender wells. It will square things off and make shelf space. Then you can stuff insulation behind the boxes to keep the cold out.
I really love the Camper! The wheels look excellent. The rain on the Camper would be so soothing and relaxing, i would be out! Can't wait for the next one.
Clean a cut once, as it starts breaking down the good tissue around it, rinsing with water is fine. Pull skin together and place new skin as it creates a glue like we use in the hospital. Because it’s a finger and you use it, bend it etc. it will reopen and bleed often. Just reapply after rinsing and patting it dry. I’m a nurse btw lol

23:14 Those hard-boiled eggs are absolutely glorious. I can never get the yokes that runny without destroying the whites because they become so hard to peel when they're that soft.

I would build a small table/shelf over each wheel well and then insulated with sprayfoam to keep cold out

Someone told me super glue is a good stitch. I have used it many times now and apply liquid skin over that. It works like a charm.

Heavy duty Felt on your wheel Wells and box sides would look good and help keep you warm while in your camper and very inexpensive too! 😊
The best way to cook is usually by trusting your eyes. If you are allergic to chicken eggs get duck eggs. If milk bothers you try lactaid or acidophilus milk. Super Glue works in a pinch. It’s good to keep in a first aid kit. You know… in case you cut your ear off of something. 😂
i found using a pizza cutter with roller is lot easier to dice and cut things up small saves lot of time.

Those are called sham pillow cases. They’re usually more square than rectangular. You can still use them as pillowcases tho.

Enjoy your new home away from home, tiny home. It suits you. You should maybe build a small ramp for Sky. Put something with a little grip on it. Then she can come and go as she pleases when the back is down. And same for the bed. Build a small bench that would also give you a little storage. Sky can jump on it and then into the bed. ❤

Sup Becca, ft. Skye. I love skyes new camper shell more every min👍. Floodlights huge difference, friend had same thing with backup cam, solenoid... You could make a different ramen dish every night for a year+ and never make the same lol, daughter loves when Pan Fry the noodles after.. almost everytime i create a ramen dish i put gochugaru on top and stir in. Its korean chili powder but isnt real hot,and kinda sweet taste? Its just incredible. Some add gochujang paste to, hope try. New tires so important cuz they roll truck around 🤣😂. Skye so comfortable on bed, its high, daisy be scared but shes afraid of a fly lol. Tyvm tc 🎣

Lil trick use a hand grater to grate garlic it is easy and less messy but adds to the garlic flavor too
Becca, A couple of things to keep in mind with cuts. Clean with mild soap , water. NO peroxide.
Check out streri-strips to hold the cuts closed. Do not reopen to clean in the cut.

Keep it simple and do fake green grass on the floor of the truck. It will match in contrast with your white, black and grey. It looks nicer if you keep things simple. Less clutter. Get some fairy lights too.

That’s so cool! I think I’ve seen that dish made once before but it didn’t look that appetizing to me. Since then I’ve made stir fried vegetables using the “beef” broccoli 🥦 sauce which is what you made soy sauce, ginger, brown sugar and some corn starch and hot water. It’s delicious. I’ll try your recipe next. I love those eggs.
Tuck-away or foldable pet stairs maybe? I had to invest when my furry senior citizen couldn’t make the jump from my bed to the floor. Unless there’s a comfy pet bed with all the perks, that may be a little easier for her. At least you love her so much that making her comfy is a priority. We can tell you love her! I jazz up my ramen the same way. Cheap and filling. #HappyCamping 🏕️
Love the new set up. Get a garlic press you just put garlic in the spot and squeeze together and out comes garlic its easy very cheap to buy I bought off Amazon I think 8 bucks something like that

I think I wanna wait and see you do a lot more fishing a lot more traveling in it to see how it runs and to see how it reacts to different climates, but I am really glad that you did get it.

Nothing wrong with a midday nap. Done it a few times while camping myself. That camper is going to be the bomb. I would never have to unpack unless I needed to use the truck as a truck to haul something.
Now begs the question... Camper or tiny house? Which will you prefer more?

Make a ramp from the bed tor the lower area, you can try to modify it to hide under your mattress or remove and stowaway somewhere you can make one for the bed and one for your tailgate
Have you thought of a fold up type of ramp that your dog can use to get on the bed and on the tailgate. I made a homemade one a few years ago when I had my dog and he had an acl injury.

Try a paint on bed liner, similar to Rhino Liner, to cover the imperfections of the bed
If it helps to know I sliced open the back of my heel and went to see if I needed stitches or glue. But they said cuz of the bendiness of the location that they couldn’t do either. You probably did the right thing. 👏👏

A bed rug would be the way to go for sure. Add some insulation, and sound proof. Even if you end up with a floor on top after. Seems like you could build storage into there as well to keep everything organized.
I also recommend bedrug. It is a great product
Maybe find or build box shelves that serve as storage and steps for the dog and you to get on the bed
New Rig looks awesome. But I'm sad about the tailgate. Maybe you can get a replacement panel from the junk yard. I concur on the Bedrug. There's off brand ones for cheaper as well.
Get some yarrow root powder it cotters wounds. It’s the powder they use on dogs nails when clipped too close to the vein.

I would think that the exposed metal of the truck bed and wheel wells is going to be a problem with the cold bleeding into your camper, will definitely need to find something to insulate those areas
