Hi my names Lynne and I’m 74. I’d seen these lovely little creatures for sale online and very pricey they are too. I had no idea how they were made. Today I watched your first tutorial on the herdwick sheep and I’m going to take up the hobby after watching your great tutorial which has enthused me. Ever ambitious I will eventually be wanting to make classic animals like your Hebridean sheep and foxes all sorts of rare breeds and woodland animals but I know I must start with something much simpler!! So many thanks, end of the month on pension day I shall be buying all I need to make my first herdwick And watching your other tutorials. Kindest regards Lynne
@lynnewatton6994 Hi Lynne Thanks so much for your lovely message. It is wonderful to hear how keen you are to get started and how much you like my tutorials. My blog is packed with free guides and tutorials, taking you from beginner to confident felter. Here's the link for you. Happy felting 😊 www.needlefeltingtutorials.co.uk
I know this is over a year old video but I just wanted to say a big thankyou Sandy, you are the person that got me into needle felting and I have made mice, pumpkins and I am addicted! Thanks so much xx
I still love making a little sheep from time to time 'just cos' ... such a lovely way to de-stress and at the end you have something lovely to give to someone else so it's win win :) Sandy is still the best teacher out there :D
Brand new to felting and I am loving your tutorials. It's all very clear and concise. I'm not too concerned about 'perfect ' as you remind us, I'm just loving the practice. Thank you for sharing your craft, you're a very talented lady 😘🏴
You're so easy to listen to. Explain, but don't waffle. Great, I'm so glad I found you 😂 just got to find a bit of time to catch the blogs 🙃 I went to three counties showground today. The animals were the best of the best. All different colours. All I could think of mmm I'd use your fleece for a rabbit, or a bear 😉😂
Hi Tina and thanks so much for your lovely message and feedback.Teaching is my passion and I am so happy that my tutorials and resources are helping. Here's to many hours of creating ☺
Thank you I enjoyed watching and ordered your kit, then felted along with you sadly I forgot to read the rules so couldn't post the finished sheep but I went back read and clicked to say I had and hopefully I can post soon. Looking forward to doing more kits. I have chemotherapy to start soon so let's hope I can do more 😊
Thank you so much, Angela. Posting days are Thursdays and special events; you will get a notification from me. I can't wait to see what you have created. You have a hard road ahead, but crafts are a wonderful distraction when you feel well enough. Sending you my best healing thoughts 🤗
Thanks so much. World Of Wool has a great range. Go for a coarse Jacob top for faster felting or the carded slivers. Here's the link for my wool guide: www.needlefeltingtutorials.co.uk 😊
Thank you very much for sharing the instructions on how to make the sheep 🙌🏻 I am happy to have found the best classes on your channel. However, when I visited your website to buy the same curly Gotland wool in brown that you used in the video, I couldn't find it, nor could I find the sheep mold 🐑😞 Could you please let me know where I can buy this wool to make my sheep? Thank you.
