I am 27 years old and virgin. I didn’t have any serious relationship or anyone that truly I trust so I didn’t want to give it away however once I met someone then we get close. I told him that I’m virgin he said he doesn’t judge and he will wait for me then he started to change. Not after a long time, we stopped seeing each other. I feel like I’ll be always judged or get a weird look about being virgin at my age. I feel like I am not desirable and it hurts. I only had 1 person approached me in person and rest of my dates were online. None of them lasted long, the longest one was 4 dates in total. I always wanted to experience love and having a soulmate. I also never had a strong family and I always wanted to have experience family with my partner. I don’t know but I feel like I’m not one of these lucky girls. 😢

I've also experienced abuse as a young girl, and no one recognizes how important knowing and loving yourself is before getting into any relationship. I think it's because abuse affects the way women view themselves, and we often turn to men to make us feel better. Learning to instead lean and turn to yourself instead of men is SO important and I was losing sight of this fact until this video. We young girls need you, thank you for sharing.

Literally went through the same thing!! Same type of abusive relationship and forced themselves in my life. Anytime I would end things he would harass me and call me over and over, drop off gifts at my door. I would get so lonely that I would take him up on an offer to take me to dinner and then he would use that opportunity to force his way back. There were no boundaries and being in that relationship for so long, even though I am a strong person, it was still an emotional toll on me. Now have post traumas from always being on high alert because I did not know which personality I was going to get from him. I knew i shouldn’t have been with him but I kept convincing myself it wasn’t that bad on top of him taking advantage of me because I have always been such a hard worker and secure with my finances. I believe he was using me for a place to stay, sex, and all the wonderful things woman have to offer like emotional support. I was being used and now I am dealing with traumas that could’ve been avoided!!

I’m 37 years old & happily married now, but in between my previous relationship and my current relationship I did this exact thing, I was celibate for almost 3 years & not only does this help us to focus on ourselves, it teaches us to love OURSELVES. Nothing in your life will change until you are happy in your own skin and you’re not looking for someone else to validate that for you. So from experience, to all you women (& men, as well) who are having a hard time finding that “perfect” relationship, don’t wait until you’re in your 30s like I did before you FIND YOURSELF! Girl, I'm halfway through this video and so much has hit home for me. I'm 28,about to be 29 soon. I've been on birth control almost half of my life,but stopped about 4 years ago. I feel better without it,and I don't think I'll ever go back on it(meaning pills,IUDs). With the abusive relationships I've had an ex slam my shoulder in a car door,and another put his hands on me ,and also SA me. I told myself never again will I allow a man to hurt me in that way EVER again. I have gotten to the point of being completely being okay being single for the rest of my life,no marriage,no kids etc. I was always wanting love/affection/validation that I looked for it in all the wrong places. I got to a point I believed all I would ever be good for is sex,and never fully allowed to be loved. Been celibate 2 years and I’m 52 years old, never felt so happier and content. Wasted way too many years entertaining sick guys and partying way too much. I've also experienced abuse as a young girl, and no one recognizes how important knowing and loving yourself is before getting into any relationship. I think it's because abuse affects the way women view themselves, and we often turn to men to make us feel better. Learning to instead lean and turn to yourself instead of men is SO important and I was losing sight of this fact until this video. We young girls need you, thank you for sharing.

Literally went through the same thing!! Same type of abusive relationship and forced themselves in my life. Anytime I would end things he would harass me and call me over and over, drop off gifts at my door. I would get so lonely that I would take him up on an offer to take me to dinner and then he would use that opportunity to force his way back. There were no boundaries and being in that relationship for so long, even though I am a strong person, it was still an emotional toll on me. Now have post traumas from always being on high alert because I did not know which personality I was going to get from him. I knew i shouldn’t have been with him but I kept convincing myself it wasn’t that bad on top of him taking advantage of me because I have always been such a hard worker and secure with my finances. I believe he was using me for a place to stay, sex, and all the wonderful things woman have to offer like emotional support. I was being used and now I am dealing with traumas that could’ve been avoided!!

I’m 37 years old & happily married now, but in between my previous relationship and my current relationship I did this exact thing, I was celibate for almost 3 years & not only does this help us to focus on ourselves, it teaches us to love OURSELVES. Nothing in your life will change until you are happy in your own skin and you’re not looking for someone else to validate that for you. So from experience, to all you women (& men, as well) who are having a hard time finding that “perfect” relationship, don’t wait until you’re in your 30s like I did before you FIND YOURSELF! Trust me when I say, you will look back one day and be so happy you were strong enough AND independent enough to make yourself genuinely happy! While he got involved with multiple women , I got involved with multiple therapists. I stayed single for 4 years. No s*x with any men either. I just focused on my career. I’m single and super independent. You’re one the right track.
If you can’t be alone, you shouldn’t be with anyone. You being comfortable in your own skin is the healthiest you can do.

Girl, I'm halfway through this video and so much has hit home for me. I'm 28,about to be 29 soon. I've been on birth control almost half of my life,but stopped about 4 years ago. I feel better without it,and I don't think I'll ever go back on it(meaning pills,IUDs). With the abusive relationships I've had an ex slam my shoulder in a car door,and another put his hands on me ,and also SA me. I told myself never again will I allow a man to hurt me in that way EVER again. I have gotten to the point of being completely being okay being single for the rest of my life,no marriage,no kids etc. I was always wanting love/affection/validation that I looked for it in all the wrong places. I got to a point I believed all I would ever be good for is sex,and never fully allowed to be loved. Now that I'm older,that mindset has finally changed and I'm happier and in such a better headspace. Thank you for making this video. I love you❤

Been celibate 2 years and I’m 52 years old, never felt so happier and content. Wasted way too many years entertaining sick guys and partying way too much.
