  • Continuing the Hanriot story, this is a quick guide to the HD.2, a floatplane fighter of World War 1 that saw limited active service during 1918, and was involved in early experiments that ultimately lead to the development of carrier doctrine.

      just revisiting but it looks influenced by and similar to the sopwith camel. the tail is the same shape though bigger.

      Hanriot was manufacturing Sopwith aircraft at one point, so some similarity is to be expected.

    What about the Hanriot HD-3, a 2 seat floatplane fighter used by the French.

    By the way, the title should be Hanriot HD.2" instead of DH.2... ;)
