I loved when they brought Sable on to do battle with Alexis. They had the best savage one liners for each other
sable was definitely her best opponent. she matched her in every way & you could see Alexis was rattled by her. you could also see Joan & stephanie relishing every moment of it.
One thing about Dynasty, they had older people in lead roles. 😊❤‼️

I am in the middle of season 9 now and has been so terribly sad! The show wasn’t the same without Linda.Her final scenes with John had tears streaming down my cheeks more than once. So grateful they did this reunion to get the happy ending they deserved!
My mom. Loved this show she died from breast cancer I remember when me and my siblings would get in trouble lmao for acting up and not going too bed she watch this as we were 8n the corner of her room I give anything too see her again for her too hold me so this brought alot good memories and sadness but ty for putting this in utube❤❤❤❤❤

Same here. I was only 10 y. old when Dynasty was airing in my country (Austria), and I was obsessed with it ! I was "in love" with Al Corley (old Steven), and I was very sad when he was replaced with Jack Coleman.

Joan was as crucial to this show as Larry hagman was to Dallas. They 100% embodied their characters & the whole show revolved around them.
Too bad JR Ewing didn’t go to Denver, Colorado to team up with Alexis Colby. What a match that would’ve been.
you know in music you like the idea of big artists collabing. But it rarely works out well. cause you get a compromise instead of the best of either. I am surprised they didnt do some skit together or even a commercial for superbowl or something. Maybe they did but Ive not seen it. I do know Larry was an anglophile though & loved the UK. There were still unanswered questions. Like who died from falling off the railings. What happened to Sammy Joe's priest friend? Who were the two dead people in the basement tunnels and who killed them. What happened to Sable? What happened to the stolen Nazi treasure? What about the gambling Fritz? Also what happened with Fallen's cop boyfriend Zorelli?

I'm ANITA: I can watch Knots landing on free tv but it only goes through the second season and you can't buy them on dvd's. Can you watch the whole series of knots landing and where do you watch it?

Disappeared into the deep, black hole of Neverland along with Ritchie Cunningham's older brother Chuck (Happy Days) , and Judy Winslow (Family Matters).
Well, do not blame the actors. Most of them have stated in other interviews that the script was very terrible and did not live up to the original program. Besides, they should have never done the reunion without Dominique and Sable. Also, I believe the guest stars received a lot more lines than the core characters, that is disgusting.

One good thing about this "reunion" show: it gives some closure for fans. Other than that, the story's... well.... one of the more unbelievable installments in the series. I'm thinking Alexis wouldn't be invited to a cozy fam dinner after getting clobbered by Krystle (again.) Still, it's always good to see Blake and Krystle together no matter how outlandish the script.

@@missyadams this ending had very little to do with the cliff hanger two years before.
Actually, this episode lacks closure as Van Dorn escapes and would probably return to get his revenge. An update on THAT situation would be nice.
@@bearpaw72 good point, bear. While the 2 main characters do belong together, it’s true that the writers would prevent complete closure. It’s probably against Union rules for prime-time soap scribes. LOL 😂
@@bearpaw72 Those Consortium people probably killed him. Remember what his secretary told him about their "retirement plan", if something wasn't done about Blake Carrington.
Who else is watching this show September 2020 besides myself. I loved it when it showed back in the 80s. Couldnt get enough of the catfights between Alexis and Krystal.

Thank so much for uploading this. I did find part 1 on dropbox, so thanks for that also. I was a huge Dynasty fan, and I thought this reunion was a nice end to a beloved series. Not sure about the upcoming CW reboot.
This really was a nice way to wrap up the show. I only wish they hadn't replaced the ADAM character with a new actor and failed to include Stephanie Beacham, who just crackled in the last season of the show.

Part 2 was much better than part 1 and the Series Finale it all makes sense as to why they kept us hanging...
The Reunion was released in the UK on vhs, but it was never released on dvd in here in the united States. I do not know why. That was one the reasons I bought a region free VCR so I could watch American shows that are released in PAL format.

The original is better. I couldn't watch the new for even 5 minutes when it came on.
While I'm glad that "The Reunion" did bring closure to some of the storylines and characters, I felt as though the acting and writing was more parody. Oh, did anyone notice in part 1 of The Reunion, the couple that Krystal was talking to at the "auction" inside the mansion? The "husband" previously played the part of the Publisher, who was supposedly going to publish Caress Morell (Alexis' sister)'s book "Sister Dearest"? The "Wife" was actually the neighbor who lived across the street from Alexis and who "witnessed" Alexis (supposedly) pushing Mark Jennings off the terrace--when in fact, it was the former Senator Neil McVane? And in Part 2 of the Reunion: the waiter in the Chinese restaurant that Sammy Jo was eating in.. That was the actor who used to play Alexis' house boy, "Lin." Anybody catch any other previous actors back for a different role in The Reunion?
OH, and who could deny that scene at the beginning of Part 1, Once Krystal got out of the Taxi and was just standing there and then they panned the camera at the facade of the mansion and then started with the music... What a tearjerker!!!
Another fun fact: "Gerard" worked at the St. Dennis Club as a Maitre 'd (for at least an episode, lol).
Also note Alexis never once mentioned ColbyCo, yet seems settled in nicely at Colby Enterprises. No one's ever been able to explain this. In my head Jason Colby had died and Alexis gobbled up Colby Enterprises. But still, why no mention of ColbyCo as it was such a huge part of the original series.
@@maineindividual5202 No. Colbyco is mentioned. Jeremy Van Dorn even said to her, "At least you still have Colbyco." Colby Enterprises being shown was a mistake. Jason Colby didn't die until 2008.

It's so weird that only part 1 keeps getting pulled. I would love to see it!! It was on Pop TV a few months ago and for some reason my DVR only recorded part 2. I was trying to find and watch part 1 before I watched the conclusion! Sad that it's not available anywhere.

Its a whole new house. Old sets had been torn down so this actual house was used with no explanation of why it looked altogether different from one in original series

Part 2 was definitely better than Part 1, which looked like it was done 'on the cheap' (obviously it was a much tighter budget to get the whole production out). Part 2 felt much more like the 'old' Dynasty. Unfortunately the catfight with Krystle and Alexis looked shoehorned into the story (Krystle actually seems to make an unprovoked attack on Alexis in this one). The catfight between Kirby and the female villain was actually better done and fit in more more appropriately with the storyline. I loved that Kirby (who'd always annoyed the hell out of me in the series) actually got a chance to redeem herself and seems to have a pretty good right-hook. Adam certainly seems impressed with it as he does a bit of a double take as he turns to leave.
By the way, does anyone else think it's a bit creepy that they have home videos of Sammy Jo and Fallon having a mud-fight? Who the hell took that video?!

People keep criticising this reunion, including Kirby going back to Adam, missing characters (Dex, Amanda, Sable, Dominique) Adam being recast and the return of the first Steven. BUT do they KNOW the difficulties that went on giving us this reunion? Gordon James (1st Adam) and Jack Coleman (2nd Steven) were not available, they were busy with other shows. They were even lucky to get Linda back, she was semi retired and she and John and Joan were paid less than what they earned previously. Aside from that, Kirby was already feeling Adam before Alexis blackmail ed her to go away, so people should stop raising their eyebrows about them. In S5E25, where Adam picked up a framed photo of Blake, there was a framed photo of Kirby beside Blake's- she was still in his heart. And probably the 2 Amandas, Dianne Carroll (Dominique) and Dex were not interested in coming back, the first Fallon (Pamela Martin) left the show because she felt Fallon was turned into a victim. Look at the other side of the coin people! The producers did their best with what they had and WHO they had. Were we to accept the finale, where Krystle remained in a coma? Blake shot and left in a pool of blood? Fallon and Krystina trapped in a cave?
We needed closure and this was the closure. The only thing I didn't like was Sammy Jo's story arc- losing her money and being a nonchalant mother again. Blake and Krystle's reunion on the beach with Krystina after 3 years apart was the most beautiful part of it all. I don't care, I got my happy ending and I'm still very happy! 💞 😀😀😀

This was one of the best 1970 tv series, like Dallas. It didn't translate well in the 1990's.

Pamela Bellwood got pregnant during the filming of Season 6 (note how many furs and coats and blankets Claudia was covered with mid-season on), and decided to leave the show to focus on her family.
