Overcoming challenges by learning something in a game is a very rewarding feeling, and that's what I wanted to prioritise in 'Dark Souls' and 'Demon's Souls.' 👻👻👻
Technically it's up for interpretation but I see it as the following: The old one being lulled back to sleep is the traditional "good" ending. The world is peaceful once more for another few thousand years or even longer. Demons no longer roam the earth and normality slowly comes back. But along with the demons, magic (sorcery) also disappears. So it's more of a neutral ending. The ending where we join the old one as the new demon king is the traditional "bad" ending. We take as much power as we can for ourselves and join the unbearable god on its journey. Demons become more present and we essentially become the final boss, but stronger. I chose the bad ending on my first playthrough since it just seemed more fun.
@@harrymason4300 worse music? Well, I understand, everything is individual, but the new soundtrack is superior and a lot pieces are way better then the original are. Maybe only the Tower knight soundtrack, which was something unique in the original, but others are just better to me. And it will be even more rich, when latin lyrics will be translated, like it was with bloodborn's soundtrack
@@ltrttl the new soundtrack is just generic orchestra pieces. The old music was unique and somber. Compare Maiden Astrea's theme in the original to the remake.
@@harrymason4300 neither old one nor new Maiden Astraea soundtracks are not maiden Astraea's themes, they are mainly Garl Vinland's themes. In the remake it even stops playing when you kill him. But neither new one nor old are suitable for him mostly because stupid Garl Vinland AI, that was unchanged in the remake. But other tracks are not just ordinary, relisten to them several times. Many of them include old ones, like fire lurker soundtrack. Tower knight and penetrator had the same soundtrack, now you can hear similar parts in them in the beginning. Well, there are a lot of things, I can't tell everything I've noticed because of my english, but it's not just that simple. I have already said, most of the remake soundtrack has lyrics in latin, that was composed in contact with Miyazaki and others. So, it will be cool to see the translation, but that can take 2-3 years. In fact, even after 5 years bloodborn's soundtrack is not fully translated even on unrealized game music channel

I remember getting both of these endings on the original version, I've always loved this game.
But does it love you?
@@BuriedinPainI think its clear by Demons Souls’s level design that it loves nothing exept pain
It can't just be me who thinks the soundtrack they added at 0:13 makes the whole scene multitudes more dramatic and important feeling

I got the good ending and didn’t even know there was a bad one.

Perfect😀.
I'm a bit confused which one is the good one and witch is the bad

Better graphics, worse music. That's about it.

I never liked demon souls, but the game looks clean on my ps5 XD, i just not doing all the endings
👍✌
Lame ending....
Great game. Ending is just a set up to the sequel. Its not really an Ending at all. More like a new beginning.
