They are called Water Pump Pliers. The name of Pliers on it's own relates a hell of a lot of variations, but in general when talking about pliers it normally refers to combination pliers.
Another great video. Love your channel. Can you do a video on replacing an Audi battery? My dealer wants over $500 to replace the battery in my 2017 A3 Quattro. It looks pretty easy to replace, but figured I would ask the man who knows...
Hi Nap, quick question, so I replaced my head gasket and followed all the step but once I got it started, it seems to be running rough with vibration. Could it have something to do with the balance shafts? I timed them correctly to the arrows, but I think I may have cranked the engine a few times before installing the timing chain, would that throw off the balance shafts correlation to the timing chain, do I need to install both chains at the same time? Thanks
@@NaptownTuner I would say your way is correct. The first "official" video of them I watched was the one I posted and it is obviously incorrect. Great chat though...Keep it up.
I just instructed a youth the other on this same subject. You'd be surprised 😮 how many do not know this. Keep em coming.
Common sense ain’t so common. Daddy taught that long ago . But today some can’t even identify an adjustable pliers or adjustable wrenches
What I learned:
Extreme torque? Use a ring wrench.
High torque? Use a normal wrench or ring wrench.
Soft surface or general use? Use a plier wrench.
Someone get this man a Knipex sponsor!

Smaller jaw points to the direction that you need to turn. Brass fitting still usable but embarrassing to let anyone see it.
I just wanted to know how to adjust the fkn things
The "K" is silent.
Like in Knife...
