feels so good, to already have this routine implemented, just for the goat to give it a thumbs up. i reached a new peak this act and excited to keep getting better, much love dopai!
Long time gamer, ex CSGO faceit level 10 cheater, no routine just deathmatch comp deathmatch comp and I hit ascendant in 3 acts. I am now trying a routine...Pro team?
peaked Asc2, mech trained and watched vods. But can't record my own gameplay due to my hardware. Gotta a "gaming" laptop that runs barely 90fp consistently and tends to drop in fights if i have spotify or discord open. So I think i just need to buy myself a pc and take it from there. I think I'm hardware capped. Might just be coping tho
@Dopai do you have a recommendation for a raze satchel training drill? I know how to satchel but I want a consistent routine to practice the way that we have aimlabs for aim training
getting to imm 1 last act was actually pretty easy with mid aim, you just gotta have good gamesense and decision making. i got to imm1 moving and aiming kind of like a bot i just played weirdly/ unexpected plays. you only gotta get real good aim at like mid imm2 and up
Really good video, how much aim training outside of warmup would you recommend? How many DMS do you think is a good idea? Thanks for the video! Adding structure to get better helps so much
Honestly your content has really helped me relax when thinking about valorant. It means a lot to hear you calmly and rationally explain that it’s just a game and that I hurt myself more by spamming games and getting tilted, when I should be more patient and consistent. Thank you seriously…I’m gonna train to improve
I don't know what more I can do. I just don't have time to play. I have close to 70% wins and a good KDA but can't get back out of ascendant. It's like my account is cursed and I lose way more than I gain.
I've been hardstuck asc 2 for a while now, I've never really taken the game seriously (just played aimlessly and for the rank) until about a month and a half ago. I started to just warmup and play, but still just bouncing inbetween asc 1 and 2. I vod review but not as much as I should and never right after a match. Going to start reviewing right after and try the cooldown I WILL HIT IMMORAL I WILL HAVE MY NAME IN THE FREAKING GAME
I just started my aim training journey yesterday after seeing that Viscose video and your initial video on benchmarking with Voltaic. Seeing exactly what parts of my mechanics is lacking feels like a huge step in the right direction
@@tyruss. I made big progress when I kept up with it. From Gold 2 to Plat 3 in a short period of time. Game Sens became the limiting factor for me at that point it felt like. I had to quit playing for a while recently so I’ve lost that progress but when if I start up again I’m definitely including aim training again.
I've been hardstuck ascendant for the past 4 acts. I'm going to start doing this 4 step routine and i'll give an update in a few months about how it went. Someone remind me when it's been like 3 months :)
@@theduuude7624 i haven't been following the routine very well.. but i got a new peak rank for the first time in a year! some tips i have are: warm up until you are confident with your aim, never play if you aren't feeling it play ranked until you have a game that you didn't do good in (even if it's the first game) and consider that the end of the session, you can play later just take a break and reset and finally i can not stress enough how important it is to watch pros/coaching videos and make playbooks off of it, you should find a middle point between spending your time studying the game as playing it if you want fast improvement after implementing all of that i went from ascendant 1 to ascendant 3 with a 65% winrate, and i'm 52 rr away from immortal
I've been doing this for a while but the days I go 0 - 2 or 0 - 3 hit hard man. Sometimes it's me not playing well, sometimes it's my teammates being assholes or running it down, but those are tough. But yeah I guess I need to move my focus away from the individual games and onto the thing I'm focusing on improving on at the moment.
Range, tdm, dm , comp. Range to wake up, tdm to get warm and use your utility for the day and then dm to farm your aim before hopping into comp to farm farm
got placed d1 from asc3 getting so close in episode 7 during last act on the last weekend got my rankup to reach immo for the first ur peeking tutorial really helped me learn those fundamentals thank you bro
Love the video, just something important to note is that the statistic about there being more players in immortal near the end of an episode versus the beginning of an episode is normal. The BEGINNING of ep 7 had similar rank displacements to this episode’s first act, the rank distribution inflation is due to no hard resets during an episode, only at the beginning of each new one.
I'm on the dm spam phase, I have been using voltaic benchmarks to train and even have immortal and radiant scores in some tasks but it certainly didn't help my crosshair placement, movement, or thinking at all
I'm honestly not really going for immortal or any rank really. But I do like to play so that I'm trying to actually improve. As with most things, it's more fun for me when I'm capable of getting some good plays here and there and don't feel so out of place in duels etc. This is a helpful checklist, so thanks for the vid.
Oh, and I learned about the Voltaic plalist from one of your other vids I believe so thanks for that too! It's really made a difference, so much more easy to track progress and where your weaknesses are.
The last thing about research is broken from anyone dia and dopei is so true it was act end i tried to play too much to get the asc buddy but failed and felt like that week and week after was lost time for me.
I used to do some basic kj setups from guides and stuff. Just watched one fns then one nats(woohoojin) on split. FNS showed some broken setups and some things he does(tried to follow how woohoojin broke down nats)nats along with woohoojin explanation solved the basics of kj i was missing as kj went from p1 to d3 94rr and can even hold my own if a immortal high ascendant come in my lobby on split consistently.
How do I remember to focus on my weaknesses in game in game? I just forget after a few rounds. I'm really inconsistent because of this. I noticed when reviewing my own vods I sort of forget about crosshair placement for a few rounds but then have good crosshair placement other rounds. I also often dial out if I'm having a bad game and results in me playing even worse than I was before.
Have fewer things you need to worry about per game. If your crosshair is always too low, ONLY focus on that for an entire game and don't worry about literally anything else.
Warming up your aim is usually a shorter period than actually training it, with warming up your goal is to just be at your best in a game, aim training is usually a bit longer where your goal is to improve your aim, and maybe movement if you do death matches. A basic way to warmup is as he said, aimlabs/range then dm and for aim training you can also do aimlabs and DM but it's generally a longer period of time and strictly for improving. When aim training you usually want to keep your aim very smooth and controlled to actually improve it but when you warmup you just want to "warm" up so you can go a bit quicker I wrote this pretty quickly but if you have questions you can just respond to it
@@dibyajyotidas5056 it just depends on how much time you have, I do about 10 or 20 mins in aimlabs and a deatmath to warm up, sometimes a little more if my aim still feels bad that day, just don't do too much for a warmup, just enough to feel good about your aim. So for warmup I like about 15-30 mins and for aim training you can aim really any amount, I do around 45 mins but if you have less time do less if you have more time do a bit more. Just don't overdo aimtraining as aim isn't the only thing you need to train to improve
This is exactly what I needed. My goal was to hit Immortal this year and I see this in my notification and went "Hell yea" xD Great video, starting tomorrow I will do implement the "blocks" you were talking about.
