Some of those glides looked really promising! Great you can turn the hobby into a family activity!

Beautiful red baron. You need tall grass.

Keep in mind- these have a LOT of drag particularly with the prop installed even if freewheeling. Look for a steep, consistent glide but it won't float. It still appears to me to be a bit tail heavy.

Thanks. I did add a little weight last night but the wind came up today and I couldn't test it. I have an area with a lot taller grass I'm gonna continue testing in. I just got really excited she performed as well as she did!! I'm going to try for low and slow ROG flights when I get her right.

OK, the airplane is cool, but the real star is the camera person/commentator.
Put a rubber band in it!
I always hollered at my kids "never run towards the airplane!"

She's a trip, that's for sure. It didn't help that I had to bribe her with chocolate to film me. Have you seen this one of her? ruclips.net/video/qvrykyIx4qA/видео.html

Trimmed out great. You put the rubber motor in yet? ...and what size/ length of rubber?

It's been too windy to try powered flights but I'm gonna start with two loops of 1/8 and see what that does. It has a 7 1/2 inch hook to peg length so maybe 20 inch loops.
