In this video we will take you along the trail so you can experience the terrain and see if the trail is right for your experience level. It wasn't what we expected. Check out the video to find out why.
    Date Recorded: July 28, 2024
    Location - Near Kalkaska, MIchigan
    Trail Details
    Difficulty - Easy
    Technical Rating - 2/10
    Distance - 43.9 mi
    Total Time 2.5 hours
This trail was fun. We ran most of it in 2WD, some of the loose sand in 4H and one place in 4L. It wasn't necessary to air down our tires. There were a lot of different types of terrain to experience, nothing a beginner couldn't handle. Some loose sand, tighter 2 track hard packed, gravel road, tree cover, and forest. This trail offers a lot of offshoot trails to explore. We took one and discovered an amazing place to boondock.
There wasn't much other traffic, a couple of quads and a side by side. This was a fun trail and we will absolutely go back and run it in the fall.

Maps. OnX. Every gas station north of traverse city, east to west, will have trail maps.
