Purchased an A7 with the 28-70mm sense and currently going to return it to get this instead. I'm not a big camera techy but I'm been getting to know Sony Cameras little by little and I think investing on an A7iii is gonna be worth it. Just waiting for it to get in back in stock!
In your video i saw when you remove the body cap first time that the sensor was cover with curtain but at the second time it was not covered, does this camera has any sensor guard
I have a Nikon d5300 and I’ve had it for a couple years now and planning to upgrade, I only have 2 lenses for it, do you think getting the Sony A7III is worth it?
To be honest it depends on what you photograph and how much you're into it. With a D5300 and you have a couple lenses, I'm assuming DX lenses like 18-55 and 55-300, you'd have to dump all your Nikon gear and spend not only 2K for a camera body but another couple grand for lenses. There are advantages to owning Full frame such as high ISO performance in low light, sharper image quality, shallow depth of field but it's not a huge difference over APS-C and you have to get the super-expensive glass to go with it. If you're already invested in a Nikon DX system, a D7500 or D500 might be a great upgrade for a camera body but still APS-C. If you want to go Full Frame then you'd have to dump all your gear anyway and Sony makes one of the best options for a Full Frame kit and A7iii is an incredible value but it will still be 3000-5000$ to invest in. If money isn't an issue then sure, by all means the A7iii is great, I'd go with it over any other Full Frame system on the market, just depends on how much the hobby is worth to you.
Not sure what I'm going to to do with Lowetech.. Now that RUclipss changed the channel monetization rules, I put this video here to help drive traffic to this one channel instead of split between two.. but probably going to just upload whatever I want here to broaden the type of videos on this channel.
I haven't tried the Kit for other than a couple shots, it's sharp, image quality great but I prefer having the constant aperture of my 24-70 f4 Zeiss. Definitely a good lens in a pinch though, but I've relegated it to being a lens cap to my old A7ii.
Great unboxing! Looks like a beauty of a camera. Can't wait to see it in person. Would love to see you do a start up tutorial.
I’m waiting for the release of the Sony a74 so I can get the official specs so I can compare the two cameras to decide which to get
Same, but the waiting is killing me, what worse is there are no rumors as well
Stoked for mine to arrive! Still about a months wait here
Hopefully it gets there soon, Sony seems to be pretty good this time around at getting new stock in. Cheers!

There's no sensor guard. The sensor is exposed when powered off and the lens removed.
Who here looks at the box, and think it says A7S, but really it's just III being so small and the camera not adjusting
Are you still happy with the camera? I'm new to photography, and I'm looking to get this camera.
Nikon d5100 is a good beginners camera for under 400$ and lenses for it used cost around 100-180$ each
What camera did you use to record this video. Thanks
Sony A6000 and FE 28mm F2 I think..
Thanks

This seems more suited to Lowetech - did you discontinue that channel?
