  • Clothes still feeling damp after drying a load in your Bosch Heat Pump Dryer?
    Try Manual Mode instead.
    This happened to me just last week after trying to dry some sheets.
    The Dryer stopped and said it was dry after two minutes, but I'd just put the wet sheets in the Dryer!!!
    That moisure sensor was letting me down once again.
    Let me know in the comments section if this has happened to you.
    That's the time to break out what I like to call......"FULL MANUAL MODE".
    Full Manual Mode will solve all your problems. In fact, I'm only going to use Manual Mode from now on.
    Put your clothes in the dryer, set a time, and come back to warm, lovely-smelling, fully dried clothes.
    I hope this video helps you solve your drying dilemmas.

    Thank you so much! I have had this dryer for years and I am so sick and tired of pulling out clothes that are still damp. I was just about ready to call Bosch then watched you video.

    What does ‘warm’ mean? It seem impossible to just get a list of temperatures for each program. Is warm 30c or 60c? Is ‘x’ program hotter or colder than the synthetics program etc. I wonder why they don’t print it in the manual?

    Very helpful . I tend to dry my clothes on a clothes airer indoors sometimes I would just like to finish them off in the dryer but my new Bosch heat pump dryer switches off after a couple of minutes. The ‘warm’ setting doesn’t quite do it . What do you suggest ? ( no problems drying the clothes from wet to dry it does this really well) thanks

    I just add in the additional suns or the function that extends the drying and they Always come out dry. I'm talking like 7 kg of load.

    I bought the Bosch series six 8 KG heat pump dryer 10 days ago. I was about to take it back and ask for my money back. Because it wasn’t drying the clothes properly. I will try what you’ve suggested. If this doesn’t work I’m going to ask for my money back. The Bosch series 6 heat pump dryer is expensive. It should work first time. You shouldn’t have to do anything other than put on the correct setting and let it do it’s job. So far I’m disappointed.

      I agree with you. I had to buy a second drier recently for another property and there was no way I would buy another heat pump drier, as most things don’t dry. Did you return it?

      Yes. I took it back and got my money back. It didn’t work properly. Never again will I buy a heat pump dryer.
      I’m sure whoever buys a heat pump dryer will be disappointed. They don’t work.

    Thank you for this very interesting as I’m considering a heat pump model but need to know I can bypass the sensor. By doing this though it won’t affect the energy efficiency will it?

    • @JustAwesomeCommercials
      @JustAwesomeCommercials  2 года назад +1

      Hey Welshpam. It won't use more power in manual mode compared to automatic mode if you ran both modes for an hour. Because you can override the sensor, you might run the dryer for an extra 1/2 hour, so yes, you'll use more power, but the clothes will actually be dry. The dryer is so power efficient though, it's not worth worrying about. I find the only time l need to use manual mode to dry things properly is when drying large items like sheets, doona covers and so forth. Normal clothes loads can use the normal cotton setting. Thanks for the question. Cheers.

      @@JustAwesomeCommercials one more question: if you opt for manual mode and use the 20 min option are you forced to wait the full 20 mins? Can you check after 10 mins? Because if the clothes are almost dry after outdoor drying ten mins in the dryer may be enough to finish off? Just wondering. I mean can you pause that 20 min setting to check how the clothes are drying or are you forced to wait the full 20 mins?

    • @JustAwesomeCommercials
      @JustAwesomeCommercials  2 года назад

      @@welshpam1958 Great question. You can always pause any drying cycle, so yes, you can check after 10 minutes and then if it's dry, pull the clothes out and turn off the machine. Just make sure that the "Water Container Full" symbol is not being shown on the display, because you'll interrupt the ability for the dryer to purge the water out of the container after finishing. Hope that helps.

    This mode doesnt work, it still stops after 20 minutes, wont start if i set it for a longer time, and its irritating to have to keep pressing the button again to continue the cycle. I can't leave it and forget about it and its distracting me from work its just so much easier to put it outside and leave to hang.

    Is this the same issue with the Serie 4? Any change in advice model WTH83001AU. Trying to figure out which one to buy. they all seem to have the same complains no matter the brand

    • @TheChardygirl007
      @TheChardygirl007 2 месяца назад

      Hioefyllgg the you haven’t purchased a series 4 yet because it’s garbage. I’ve had mine for over 5 years (I think, it’s out warranty now anyway and I’m fairly certain it was a 5 year warranty) and it’s never ever dried anything properly on any of the settings so we exclusively use the extra dry cottons setting on the highest fine adjust level (driest possible setting) and have to finish off with at least a 20 minute timed dry at the absolute minimum. To give you an idea the extra dry cottons setting is for think double materials like cotton which don’t dry readily and I’ve 3 children I definitely dress in rayon, polyester etc which is far far lighter and the dryer can’t dry literally anything without a timed dry finishing cycle for any wagers between 30 minutes and an hour and a half. Yes, it’s that awful. Essentially what you’d save in electricity with this dryer you end up spending anyway because the cycles need so much longer run time. I hate the damn thing but it’s better than not having a dryer at all.
