My favourite from this compilation has to be Baggio and his rocked up version of an Abba classic, although the voice control of Andrei Pantuh with Wicked game also got me.

I've been watching Liliac since their start, and when Trooper came out, it was the first time that I saw Ethan (the rhythm guitar play on the left) step out and show that he has the ability to lay down the lead licks too. Each member of Liliac is improving and honing their skills. Their new EP "Chain of Thorns" showed that they are not just a cover band. They will be a force to reckon with, and I am excited for them.

The best song on the video is Liliac's cover of the Trooper. This is how I envisioned my kids growing up to be. But instead they chose boring things like being a Senior NCO in the Air Force and being a very successful real estate agent and working at General Motors. ;)

i can't believe i lucked into randomly clicking on this video while bingeing music competition rock auditions late one night, I had never heard of Liliac and so glad i have now, these kids are incredible and this is definitely the most excited i've been about a new rock band in a long time. doesn't hurt that they cover all the 80's classics i grew up on but their original stuff is great too. thanks for adding the bonus video.

My goodness 40 years of listening to all kinds of rock, and I’ve become somewhat, jaded. This, this I like. Long time since I last said that. Tight playing, excellent tone and timing, great vocal fry, whilst keeping it intelligible.
Great track. Wicked potential for this outfit, as long as they steer clear of the worst of the poisons &, (umm, how to put it?).. temptations?
Anyway, very good, very enjoyable, I want to hear more.

My favorites are Baggio and Andrei Pantuh but I've seen them before. The band at the end was cool. Surprised me to hear that voice coming out of her mouth. :)
Liliac are a family band, they are all siblings and their dad is the producer.... How cool is that for a family??

I have to agree with a lot here the last performance was ten fold better than the rest. Other than that the performance of Wicked Game was very good.

@@fungfung2629 hard rock is not evil in any way. The songs tell a story , Shakespeare to music. Most pop songs are just love/lust songs.
@@squarewheel1587 this was nothing about hard rock, but the logo with devils wings. lot of hard rock logos fits perfectly to thier bands, without any tails, horns or wings;-) I am a graphic designer my self, i' d design a new sign for the Liliacs for free!

Been following Liliac for a few months now. That family band is going somewhere. They perform around the Santa Monica Pier a lot. They were also on The World's Best talent show where they performed The Trooper for the audition round, but the show edited it down to just highlight clips, but they managed to get thru to the semi-final battle round where they performed Rainbow in the Dark. Unfortunately they were up against a great gospel singer and failed to move on. Probably a bad song choice as it's not that well known of a song. They do Crazy Train too, which would've probably gone over better.
No then, out of all the other performances in this video, the guy who sang the Scorpions hit Still Loving You was my favorite. Gave me goosebumps. Klaus Meine would have been proud of that one.
Hey David, thank you for your comment. Liliac's treatment on The World's Best was atrocious, but I didn't know they made it to the semi's.

I think my favorite this time was Vjekoslav Ključarić, fun to listen to and he seemed to live the music more than many others. I would have liked Marian more if the had nailed that last note of _In My Dreams_ - because ouch. Speaking of notes, Samuel had some really nice ones.
