Sad thing is no matter how good a modern SpongeBob episode is, they lost the intelligent jokes like "let's get naked!" "No we'll save that for when we sell real estate." And the self aware jokes like "Can you move it along? I'm running out of time cards"
But we still have lines like : *Get a load of him folks he must've been born on a highway because that's where most accidents happen!* And *When it came to the stupid bill spongebob always tipped 20%*
A few things: 1.) Rest In Peace, Stephen Hillenburg. You influenced many lives and no doubt will continue to through your creation years from now. 2.) Yup, of course Band Geeks was #1. I mean, what else could there be? 3.) I always though the message in Ripped Pants was don’t pretend to drown. This puts the episode in a whole new perspective for me. 4.) My four favorite episodes (outside of Pizza Delivery and Band Geeks) were The Snowball Effect, Frankendoodle, The Camping Episode, and the Idiot Box, in no particular order.
Madeline Carragher the idiot box for me was hilarious because of squidward getting more and more obsessed with finding out what exactly spongebob and patrick do in their box

My favourite episode was 'Rock Bottom' from season 1. It's kind of a weird choice, but the episode (if you've seen it) is so unique and different. All the jokes are great, the design of the bottom of ocean mixed was amazing songs of eeriness and to top it off with a really funny ending made a perfect episode in my book. You've probably never had a second thought about it...but I truly love it.
I don't think it's the best but definetely one of the most memorable ones. I haven't watched this show in years and it's one of the only two episodes i vividly remember. The other being band geeks of course.

No, not public nudity. Real estate. Basically, there have been a lot of records of real estate agents dressing erotically, or wearing very little in order to make more sales from customers. That's the joke.
Fairly Odd Parents: "Here's the female equivalent of Cousin Oliver, a baby fairy, an evil version of that baby fairy, and of course, Poochie!" Spongebob: "We'll just expand upon the characters you know and love!"
Spongebob is more like: We'll make you think the series doesn't have any hope or life left, we'll give you the absolute worst, we'll produce nothing but garbage, and then we'll spring an epic comeback on you that you never saw coming, and we will be fresh, exciting and relevant once more!

We don't have many more ideas? Let's bring Bubblebass back! Let's give Larry and the myleg guy an episode! Let's see what we can do with our existing cast rather than throwing them away and created new ones!"

My favourite is the pizza delivery one especially Squidward feeling bad for spongebob the end. It's very emotionaly powerful and it still hit me untill now
My senior year of high school, we had a skit at the end of spirit week, and our class had spongebob. the very end we had sweet victory playing and everybody in the audience had their flashlights out singing along and it was so amazing. ❤️❤️ The whole episode was my favorite and it's great to see it flow through time :D

Band Geeks is a great one because it’s relatable for me since Im in a band. When we practice we sound really bad 😂 but when we play at concerts we sound good. We can suggest songs to play and Im suggesting “Sweet Victory”
although you missed one of my favorite episodes, Graveyard Shift, You were still spot on with the rest of the list! all of the ones you mentioned just brought back so many happy memories of me on Saturday mornings just watching Spongbob and eating my cereal without a card in the world. I love the episodes where Squidward genuinely cares for SpongeBob and even stands up for him. I love seeing the kind and caring side of this usually bitter and miserable octopus. I love it about as much as seeing a genuine smile on the face of a young man with a cold, tough appearence.
Spongebob is many of my earliest childhood memories. I remember watching band geeks when I was 3 years old while I waited to go visit my new baby sister at the hospital
One of my favorite episodes is squidville. Like you said, going back and finding different meanings when you get older is exactly why I love this episode. It showcases squidward’s struggle in finding internal happiness. Even when he finds his ideal society, he still finds flaws in it and becomes depressed. Although ending on a happy note, it’s one of the episodes with a deep meaning you don’t see the first watch.

My favourite is the pizza delivery one especially Squidward feeling bad for spongebob the end. It's very emotionaly powerful and it still hit me untill now
My senior year of high school, we had a skit at the end of spirit week, and our class had spongebob. the very end we had sweet victory playing and everybody in the audience had their flashlights out singing along and it was so amazing. ❤️❤️
The whole episode was my favorite and it's great to see it flow through time :D

I loved the ending of Pizza Delivery , I loved how Squidward was much more...involved? Positive? Kind? Anyway I loved him in this episode.

One of my personal favorites is “No Weenies Allowed” because of the weenies in the Weenie Hut Junior store.
Band Geeks is a great one because it’s relatable for me since Im in a band. When we practice we sound really bad 😂 but when we play at concerts we sound good. We can suggest songs to play and Im suggesting “Sweet Victory”
although you missed one of my favorite episodes, Graveyard Shift, You were still spot on with the rest of the list! all of the ones you mentioned just brought back so many happy memories of me on Saturday mornings just watching Spongbob and eating my cereal without a card in the world. One of my favorite episodes is squidville. Like you said, going back and finding different meanings when you get older is exactly why I love this episode. It showcases squidward’s struggle in finding internal happiness. Even when he finds his ideal society, he still finds flaws in it and becomes depressed. Although ending on a happy note, it’s one of the episodes with a deep meaning you don’t see the first watch.
