Thanks for the video, I wan able to keep the flame. It turns out the thermocoupler is bad.

Great question. This one does not have an app but there are definitely options out there for starting/stopping via an app

If it’s cold out you may need to hold it for more than that... if you hold longer and it goes off you may want to reach out to a plumber to replace that thermocouple or something else
