I saw Tony Pearson at the NABBA Universe, Rainbow Theatre, London, in about 78. I was selling shirts for Fox in the foyer. Pearson was there with Nubret and Jacqueline, chatting with Fox and Heidenstam. he had on one of those tight nylon 70s, tracksuits, red. I gotta say he looked, kinda small. Nubret wore cream trousers, a white polo neck sweater and a navy blazer on top. Hands on hips, as Serge was talking you could see the two columns of abs, and that central membrane flowing and pulsing when he breathed, right through the sweater, no joke. Later at the show when Tony walked on, I was in disbelief. The difference in apparent size from what I saw earlier in the foyer. seemed impossible. His width, waist, taper, size, seemed utterly impossible, when comparing to what I saw earlier. As he moved, he just grew and grew and grew, like some kind of special effect. I’ve seen closely various top physiques and I’m not easily impressed - Believe me, Tony had something extremely rare, magical, in his ability to fill the stage and theatre. Others that spring to mind are Steve Davies and Aniabal Lopez, at a distant second. Keep up your good work, the quality is undeniable.
That is such an awesome story. Thanks so much for sharing as these little additions from people really.enhance the info from the vid in a more personalized way. Thanks again

Fantastic interview. It exceeded my expectations. Really at the core of what bodybuilding is about. Self improvement, self mastery and reaching for an ideal. I intend to watch the film and read the book. Thanks Shawn for reviving the magic. It was interesting during the WBF days those that were to remain in shape despite changing circumstances. Fundamentally great bodybuilders. Aaron Baker is another that would interview well. I was happy the WBF was an enjoyable ride for Tony.
Stind your thoughtful, encouraging and inspiring comments always keep me motivated to keep stepping up to the plate. I'm glad you enjoyed this interview with Tony & Andrew because I enjoyed our conversation and thought it has some great advice and underlying messages as you mentioned. I truly appreciate your continued support of the work I'm doing and can't thank you enough
After seeing Tony Pearson in other videos recently I had the thought that he'd make for a great interview with Carved Outta Stone. Little did I realize that you had already done so 6 months prior lol. Great job.
Fascinating book and bio. Fantastic also to see and hear Tony here, he comes across as a soft and tender artist, no bulldozer Arnold type. thanks a lot!
You're very welcome mate and thanks so much for leaving a comment of support. Not sure why this legend hasn't received more views on this interview? Clowns would rather be wasting their lives watching Spam Spewlack I guess 🤦♂️🤷♂️
