I went to the gym today and followed Tony's instructions and it was as if I did double the weights and reps, it was so insanely intense. This man is extraordinary and is the godfather of bodybuilding. Thank you for featuring him, I will look for his channel now.
Matthew is so bad at lifting, following directions, and maintaining proper form even after being told dozens of times, he shouldnt even have a fitness channel. What an embarrassment
I can't say how much I appreciate Tony did these. I don't normally do a trainer but if I'm ever in Vegas I'll get a session from Tony "continuous tension" Pearson just as a thanks!
Declaine flys is the best chest exercise The whole muscle gets stretched from a to b When you flex your chest is the position of declaine standing Biomechanics by Doug Brignole RIP.
dips are great and i did them every way possible for many years... but never was able to hit my upper pecs like incline flys or incline bench... Tony was an amazing bodybuilder, but his methods work great for him,but every bodybuilder does movements that work best for them...Even after 50 plus years i am still tweaking and switching things up...the key is to train safe and smart.
I love Tony Pearson but no, no, no, dips work lower chest, it is a press down so all the force goes down and the lower chest is resisting the weight, I don't understand why he thinks it works upper chest??🤔🤔
@@АлексейЛесуков-ч3ь Actually I think dips works the entire chest, but the position of your body may change the focus a little. The late great Doug Brignole said decline presses work the upper chest, so dips probably do as well. If you squeeze your chest without weight in a decline position, take one hand and feel the tightness in the upper chest.
I am not a Pav but both of you havie amazing bodies , men age so beautiful compared to women not fair. This is a super hard workout . I really struggled with the dips. Thanks for another amazing podcast. I only watch your podcast . Motivated to the highest. You should see me in the gym I am like a superwoman guys see me run away . Love the white socks . What is the black patch on your arm
not sure touching chest is a bad thing. taking even a quarter pound by doing touch and goes does not by any means equal taking weight off the movement... i am almost 64 and natty and never have a hard time pumping up my chest...for me its all about mind muscle connections...
Hay any chance of get female body builders that are natural I have one you can look up she was Ms Figure two time ErinStern she is amazing and all natural.
The body that Tony has is a credit to him, however much of the information is given without any simple thought being applied. As a quick example take the T bar row and simply ask why is the rowing being done in a bent over position. The lower back is exposed and is static while at the same time is having to support the weight of the upper body and the weight plates and what is to be gained from the danger and uncomfort? Nothing that I can see over a seated row. It just doesnt make any sense and if anybody simply thought about if for a few moments if would be obvious to them
It's funny but if you ever see Ronnie to a row he stands up a lot higher, probably because the amount of weight . People would say his doing wrong , but obviously wasn't with his back development.
I like your videos, you are a good (fitness journalist). But if I were you I would interview Doug Brignole in your videos about which exercises are really good and which are thought to be good, but in reality… . If you do not know Doug , please do some research and you will see that the man is very worthwhile . Doug is 60 years old and has been training since he was 14 , does bodybuilding competitions ( became Mr Universe 2 years ago I think ) , he is a scholar in biomechanics of the human body and his knowledge of exercises , what they do and especially what not doing them is unprecedented. I myself am 54 years old and have been training ( natural !) since I was 22 , following everything closely regarding nutrition , training and everything related to it . There's only one man who has pleasantly surprised me with weight training knowledge since a few years ago, and that was Doug. I think it would be a pleasant surprise if you got him on your show .
Doug was a self-proclaimed biomechanist and lifelong PED user who falsely won natural competitions. Unfortunately for him and his loved ones, he died too young.
Theo GT Agrred. Having watched Doug I quickly became aware of the bro science surrounding most traditional exercises. Bench press, dips and bent over T bar row forinstance

During that row, anyone yelling at the screen for Matthew to "hinge!" at the hips??

Unfortunately Doug is dead now....
That’s a RDL not a proper deadlift
Yh, thought the same too. Quite a mixture of RDL and a deadlift.
Someone this bad at maintaining proper form after being told over and over, shouldnt have a fitness channel. It's sad.
No intensity.he need to slow his reps and go to failure
Does Tony do 1 set like hit ?
