I started with one JL Audio RD1000/1 and with 2 JL Audio 12w3v3 subs each at 500 rms and i loved how they performed and so now i have two JL amps a total of 2000 rms and 4 JL Subs and it plays hella loud, clean ass bass. Overall it sounds amazing. I get heads turning around to see who is playing lol. Best experience ever bro. Stick around and let me put together some video data i got with my setup
I'm also wondering if this can pair well with the 12w7ae... right now i'm still using a Rockford fosgate r2-1200x1 powering the 12w7. I hear it's not a good match. Thinking of selling the RF amp, and gettting this Jl audio RD1000/1, since it's more affordable I think right.

It came out sounding with hella clean bass and loud ass fuck. The whole car shakes. I should be posting a video this week with it slappn hard bro
U only gonna be getting 300 watts to each woofer ...i have the same amp powering 1 JL 12W7.. ..and it's amazing ...way louder then 3 12w3 that i had before... Nice set up though. Love the batman symbol.
I never had a grey JL amp (slash)? I have 2 of these JL RD1000/1. They are more efficient on power supply anf have a clipping light and addjust the clipping to avoid clipping and get a clear signal
Fernando Reyna para el amplificador 1000/1 ocupas 2 bosinas de 500watts rms cada una para q se escuche aun mas fuerte. Pero si quieres mas fuerte ocupas 2 bosinas cada una de 800 a 1000 watts rms por subwoofer y asi notaras mucha la diferencia con el jl 1000/1. Este amplificador es muy bueno y muy fuerte. Pronto subire un video con el sonido funcionando para q lo escuches bro!!
PickleRickWithTheStick there is no doubt in mind of my purchase with the JL RD1000/1. It is a beast. It performs outstanding. It slaps hard on my 2 JL12w3v3-4ohms 600rms each! If you have the luck to get one do so and better if the price is good. Mine i bought it new at a price of $749.99

Arnold Salazar that is an Aero port 8” in diameter. This port is in my subwoofer box tunned to 30hz on a 5.82 cube box. Open my channel and there you will see a video with everything installed bro
King Will there is no fuse on the amp. You have to add the fuse your self. Connect a 4 gauge wire to ur amp and splice it within 16 inches and add the 80 amp fuse that JL recomends for this amp

New sub here I will be getting the same amp with evolution C2 's 6 1/2 side speakers.

kevin P. This jl amp rd1000/1 is perfect for your jl 12w7!. Your sub can handle from 400rms all the way to 1000rms. This amp is perfect bro
kevin P. Your sub is 3ohm so it is a 800rms and the jl rd1000 is 200 rms more so it is powerfull enough for your sub
