HOLY MOLY!! This is FOOKIN BRILLIANT!! I have been wracking my brain trying to figure out where to put a fridge AND my doggo in my 2008 Tundra Double cab camper build!
With the future double bed platform build in the back canopy, there wasnt enough room for the fridge. And my dog ALSO is a doofus in the car, so he needs to be in a crate. (Gotta love the herding breeds.🤷🏼‍♀️) My husband is a welder too, so he could easily build this! I'm thinking about adding a dometic slide so that we can extend the CFX3 75DZ out the back door of the cab. (If it will fit with the angle of the doors, I havent checked the specs yet.)
THANK YOU FOR THIS VIDEO!!! THIS HELPED IMMENSELY! 👍🏼

Clean DIY, a little powder coat and Line-X goes a long way to make it look professionally done.

I would have put the Cooler on the drivers side for the GF easier access. Other than that you did a professional job.

I would totally buy that bracket. But I did build something similar for the back part of my gladiator. Goose gear is way overpriced. I spent 200 and I even used walnut would .

Man I'm mad.....I left the rear window open on my 2019 crew max for over 24 hours of rain the only good thing is it was parked on a steep hill but the truck still got water in it and i will need to remove my rear seats to vacuum

Nice, can you add a link to the latch? I've been looking for those.

This looks like a compression style latch. Possibly similar to those used by Goose Gear and found in some cabinet maker designs.
