    The DIY water spot remover is magic as it actually removes the minerals! Every product I have bought from DIY has surpassed my expectations and they always make me look like a better detailer than I really am. Your Audi looks brand new and the Dr. Beasley coating looks like it is performing very well! Your experience with your Audi is part of the reason I recommended the Audi Q7 to my mom to drive! Your videos always rock and thank you for another video where we all learned!

    Wildfire ash is the worst. With the Adams lake wildfire that is still going the Okanagan Valley is full of smoke and ash again so our cars are getting washed at least once a week. Total coincidence but the Michelin pilot sport a/s are the tires I run on my corvette very happy with them and I washed my wife’s car today with Q2m foam and tac system mystic bubble for the hand wash, you have great taste lol. HI Rick !
    Good to see you enjoyed your trip.
    These big fires I saw on TV were quite scary and pretty uncontrollable !
    We hava had some here in Europe too especially in Greece.
    South of France is also under orange and red alert due to heavy fire risk.
    Talking about France, glad to see you have some French rubber on youtr wheels 😜.
    Michelin is a bit more expensive but really worth the cost.
    I have some on my A5 and I can testify the have a very good grip.
    Mine are protected with Gyeon Tyre which is SIO2 infused...
    That product is jaw-drapping due to its protection and hydrophobicity.
    Little trick : slightly heat the tire before applying with a hex grip foam applicator.
    This will open the pores and guarantee a maximum bond with the rubber.
    Nice satin OEM finish !!!
    Flawless final result as always !
    Take care mate and stay RAD 🤘🤘🤘

    I haven´t come around to watch this until now. One thing that I recognize from my own washes is the fact that you learn your car. You find the spots where you need to put in some more effort. And as always, the rear view mirrors that always contain more water than you thought possible. And you take the car for a ride and the drops that makes you crazy. I always keep a psycho-towel in my car.
    I love that you take us along your thought process when coming across new challenges. Have you tried CarPro Descale? I have not yet but I am curious if it takes care of more of the contaminates.

    I might be wrong or doing something wrong, but I find that the wet coat products, in this case CarPro Hydro2 for instance doesn't last long on the wheels, either due to brake dust being too rough or the heat from the brakes make these products evaporate/brake down faster?

    • @RADGarage
      @RADGarage  Год назад +1

      I don't disagree with that. I look at these type of wet coat products as a quick and effective way of ensuring the washing process goes well. They don't offer the same level of protection as a liquid applied ceramic coating. But, they do seem to prevent brake dust from strongly adhering to the finish of the wheels.

      @@RADGarage it’s on the gloss black b-pillars that really bothers me🤣 but there isn’t much you can do until it’s next wash, right🤣

      That's right. I have my B-Pillars protected wtih clear film. It is the only way my nerves could survive.

      @@RADGarage hahaha that is a great idea. Giving it a good polish and then PPF’ing the b-pillars. 🤔 I’ve just purchased a 2023 Kia carnival platinum model in nardo grey - car looks phenomenal against all the gloss black accents and dark tints, and I’ve had it polished and coated with artdeshine nano graphene coating - it’s incredible. 10 year warranty on the coating too they’ve guaranteed me. I am meticulous like yourself so it will certainly last with frequent maintenance washes. However, Polishing and clear filming the b-pillars is definitely something I’ll consider down the track if they get beat up from all my kids. 2 so far with another 3 in the plan🤣🤣🤣

      Congratulations of the Carnival. It is amazing seeing how far Kia has come in their design and quality. Enjoy it in good health and good luck with the fingerprints!

    Question! Why do you rinse bottom to top?

    • @RADGarage
      @RADGarage  Год назад

      Rinsing top down just ensures all the shampoo gets rinsed away on the lower portions before you get there with the pressure washer.

      @@RADGarage thank you! The industry always taught wash from top to bottom but I’ve seen more and more people rinsing bottom to top so I was just curious what the reasoning was and if I should be implementing.

      I agree with hand washing top-down, but it makes no sense to let the shampoo on the lower portions go to waste.

    Do you ever do any under body cleaning?

    • @RADGarage
      @RADGarage  Год назад +1

      This car has felt panels on the undercarriage so I don't really see the point in spending time cleaning it. I give it a good rinse once or twice a year, but I let the felt protection do its thing and don't worry about it much.

    • @MrRusty1trumbone

      Are the felt panels like the carpet wheel linings because they hold an awful of crap.
