I wanna try this so bad! Last year I upgraded from a huge gross oil burning gas guzzling unit to a really small corded electric snowblower from "Powersmart" and it's really nice but I would LOVE this portable battery operated unit.
Hello Jimbo!!!! Great video as always. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!! 🎊🎊🎊. I really don't see this is a very practical product for the average home buyer but for many tight areas that can't get access to might be a good idea.
The drawback with these is that you can't control the direction of the snow. You always see some snow going where you don't want it. It would make a huge difference if you could control the arch and the direction of the snow. That would make this a very good option for people who live in the city. As it is now, it would just bury the cars on the street if you used it to clear your sidewalk.
You and other YiuTube channels have reviewed this Toro snow shovel and here are my comments. It appears that the Toro snow shovel throws the snow forward so you end up shoveling the same snow a second time rather than throwing the snow to the side. It also appears to leave a thin layer or glaze where it has shoveled which could make for dangerous/slippery footing. In your video you using a regular snow shovel seemed to do a faster and better job of clearing your driveway than the Toro snow shovel. I cannot see the value or benefit of buying the Toro snow shovel. Merry Christmas to you and yours, Jimmy!! 🗼🎁
It needs the ability to swivel the head so you can direct the snow and be able to go up and down the driveway. I hate walking back up and wasting time.
Thanks Jimmy. I could tell immediately from your body position that this would never work for me. At 6'5" and overdue for lumbar fusion, power shoveling is only desirable if I can remain fully upright. Listening Toro???
Bro.. get stronger then the weight won’t be a factor. I’m personally tired of everything being built light and cheap as possible. Cool little tool though. Nice vid.
Can you rely to Toro we need presentations of such products by older individuals, preferably a women. All these videos are made by men, which doesn't allow me to judge if I could handle it.
Would be cool to see more women in the creative scene, yes. Not sure how to interpret your age comment, however. Is there a specific age range you trust more than others?
@@JimmyLewisMows Thank you for responding. This isn't a trust issue. It's an issue of strenght and balance. I would have to assume that a small tool would be purchased more by women and older customers with smaller properties. Therefore it would be helpful to have someone from that population in the video.
I'm a groundskeeper and have 4 of these. (Not Toro) These are backbreaking and not a useable tool IMO. You cant direct snow, it only shoots the snow in a straight direction. It will also catch every crack or bump. If there is a crust on top of the snow this tool is unusable. The good news is 86 days till spring!
These things are garbage once you get a little bit more snow than you have. Its only good when you are 5'2 and you get a light dusting. Pick a storage space out in your garage now for the majority of the snow season.

Toro’s 60V lineup is a good one to get in to.
Where do you live Jimmy?
Can it do stripes on the lawn ??
battery powered leaf blower for 1"-2" and fluffy consistency of snow.. .. faster, and way cooler too
It seems like all of those battery tools are about 6” too short. I’m not exactly a tall guy either at 5’11”... Would a Darwin’s Grip fit it?
Agreed, and yes I think a Darwin's Grip would fit this. I have one in a box in the garage, too. Missed an opportunity there.

Nice little machine
Great video my man. Looks like it works pretty good and from the videos I have seen, yeah the shaft needs to be longer for better comfort.
Great review Jimmy. Merry Christmas bud. 👊🏼👍🏼

Does your present snow blower clean right to the pavement?
What kind is it?
I'm 5'4" I think the shaft length would be good for me. Great review!
Great video man truly amazing!!
Merry Christmas to you and your family thanks for the information good video
Thank you Jhonny. Merry Christmas and a happy new year to you and yours
Lol you call that snow?
my grandma could have swept that with her 50 year old broom
Dang dude that thing throws! Since I’m 6 3” I’d prolly need to outfit some gorilla grips on that bad boy!
Awesome just ordered one can’t wait to try it and get some snow ❄️ thanks for the review
Merry Christmas. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks, you too!
also...using proper shovel technique here is faster as well
Toro must not have my address......
Lol I don't think they have mine either
@@andyslawncareandoutdooradv what a bunch of punks. 😂
Same here and I live 3 miles from Toro HQ 😠
First Aussie 😁. A great review video on a blue sky bird chirping cold day there Jimmy. 😎👍👍
I see all the cool kids received cool shovels this year. Great review

Yeah that would be cool
Jimmy wants a longer shaft.
I would rather it be gas
Looks like Toro sent these out to all Utah You Tubers for Christmas. Definitely a better demo than Mr Wards. Merry Christmas.

I have to be honest. It looks like it didn't clear well at all. No one wants to leave a layer of snow on the driveway like it did
If only stihl or echo was taking notes for there combi and pas units.
Could use just a little bit longer shaft... That's what she said! And where are the sandals like your fellow mountain man 😂
Was waiting for this comment 😉
