Can be overwhelming for a team...especially if someone summons Lightning ;)
Not sure who else does it this way, but I use my sorcery ability to summon a bat and fly into the base, where WAK blows up the wall, carrying 8 or 9 bombs or 4 bombs and a battering ram, then use acid and gas arrows to kill Nimlot and his guards. I find this much easier than running through the base with the endless spawn of defenders.
I did, flew twice on top, not side, once summoned ymir that wrecked everything and a second time used 10 plus bombs to destroy the roof and shoot the final boss from the top. The problem I had with ymir it was that he did so much damage that I couldn't retrieve half the gold piles.

Morning Wak. I use your "Tower Jump & Wall Climb" method of attack since I'm mostly playing solo, but I use Noxious Arrows on the Boss and his minions, standing on the roof after breaching the wall to eliminate these guys.
on ps5 atm the best bug exists most of the walls just dont spawn in on al and you can just climb in it appears to be most of northern walls it funny and great cause its just fly in with bat demon kill main dude fly out
You can just equip a construction hammer and 'delete' gates, walls, doors, anything and just walk in. lmao
I just did a run with a ballista setup across from the gates. Three well placed starmetal balls (1 per gate) gave me access to run straight in. Construction hammer (NOT in creative mode) deleted the doors instantly. Killed all the outside trash mobs just inside the main castle doorway. Easy move up to the Hand of War ( there was 2 of him for some reason) then up to the boss, kill him and grab the treasure.
For me, I placed an elevated catapult on the plateau and destroy all three doors before assaulting; and then I will run all the way into the castle and kill the remaining enemies before going up to Nimlot’s chamber.

Do the enemies stop spawning when the gate is destroyed or when you walk through it? Can you line up trebuchets to each door and break all the gates to stop all spawning?
No it's based on player location not the gate being destroyed.

The Neebs archer line must not have been set to aggressive? That was why the team had to engage the enemies for the arrows to fly?
Thanks for pointing out the enemies inside and the glitch with team Stygian appearing at your base for a counter assault.
So, hurry back to defend the base? Or do they spawn when you get to the base?
In my case they spawned when I arrived but I play on single player.
Did they nerf the battering ram? When we could still insta-level thralls I was doing this in heavy rotation and it took 2 bombs and 1 battering ram to break through the wall with an agility build.
If you have max strength spec with strength food, elixir and armor, you can break the wall with half the durability of the battering ram.
What about the explosive arrows? Can we use them to open the gate?
Yeah but it's not worth the resources with how many it takes.
Team work is a good idea unless you have a psychopathic sorcerer in the team with a lightning fetish and someone named Simon.
How long till the castle “resets” and you can go in and do the whole thing over again?
It’s ranged based. Leave the area for a little while and come back and it resets completely.

Soooo, telling us Neebs base will have a little party going on during the next episode? LOL
I play solo offline and I was planning on using a god token here. Has anyone else tried this? Does it still do damage to the NPC base like it would player bases online?
I wonder if you KO the npcs will they respawn or be blocked from respawn until they are dead or put on a wheel
I've been testing this, fair warning if you do it right now it seems to spawn even more attackers at your base when you return.

Opening a chest breaks invisibility, I am surprised that placing bombs does not!
