Bonded shield is the only reason I ever have a character Engage with Lucina, her weapons are mediocre and her engage attack is one of the worst in the game. That said I usually put her on Seadall, so…
@Sam Keiser I put her on a flier and make my other fliers untouchable. Alear is good since you can stack A supports on them easily for a huge avoid bonus.
@@samkeiser9776 Personally I have put her on Chloe and, well it work pretty well, she can attack pretty hard, Fly, can heal allies, a true support who add +5 damages to many attacks
Fun fact this pair up / bond mechanic that goes all the way back to awakening originally comes from the secret Triangle Attack maneuver between 3 Pegasus users.
I always found her skills mid because i always have everyone spread out for attacks like Override and cannons so i just throw her to the unit who has no other emblem that suits them or all of those emblems are gone
ROFL this meme is peak Fire Emblem and Yu-Gi-Oh!. I remember how badass this scene was when I watched it. I had only been exposed to some of the Japanese version of the anime at that point. Needless to say I was pleasantly surprised at how crazy it got.
For me, I never used lucinas' engage effect. I just used her for turning a non backup unit into a backup and then allowing them the ability to jump in on attacks if they can reach via movement. Had her on my great knight alear who had 8 mov and it was nuts. Now he's partnered with sigurd and sits at base 9 mov and 16 when engaged with sigurd. And i have 1 last boots consumable that i can give him that can put him at 17 mov.
Funny thing is that this is also one of the worst Engage attacks, it’s the easiest to out damage just by doubling, and unless you’re some kind of positioning god, you likely won’t even get that many units to join in the Chain attack. And unless you’re using Alear, the chain attacks can miss…
